One of the items we are most excited about is the changes being made for Spaceship Earth in Epcot and how they will remain for the foreseeable future!
Here is what Disney said about these updates:
new lights will shine across the reflective panels of Spaceship Earth, connecting to one another and resembling stars in a nighttime sky. This permanent new lighting will continue beyond “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” as a defining feature of the park.

A new Skyliner Dooney and Bourke Collection will be soaring in soon! The high flying new assortment is set to hit shelves Monday, February 22! There will be two new silhouettes flying in, to compliment the crossbody that came out last year!
The two new silhouettes will be a satchel, and large tote. Unlike the crossbody these will have an all over scenery design. Where as the crossbody was an all over design of a single gondola!
The scene set for these fabulous new bags features the horizon of Hollywood Studios and Epcot in the distance. Colorful gondolas featuring the character art we know and love from them soar across the background. The sample tote and satchel on display both have different gondolas features as well!
You can look forward to the debut of the new Skyliner Dooney And Bourke bags this Monday, February 22nd!
Which color or character Skyliner gondola is your favorite one to ride on?

This milestone is such a big deal, Disney even coined a new word – “EARidescence” – to describe what you’ll see when you visit. TheDisney teams are creating all sorts of new decorations that will shimmer and sparkle all day and into the night.

Disneyland recently suspended its Annual Passholder program. While that is sad news, the parks are looking into a replacement membership program. With that new program, Disneyland is considering discontinuing monthly payments for annual passes.
Disneyland has been sending surveys to passholders to determine the most popular options for a new membership program. One of the questions on the survey is: “Imagine that monthly payments were no longer available at the Disneyland Resort in California. Which of the following best describes what you would have done?
Would NOT have a pass
Would keep the pass but TRADE DOWN to a less expensive version
Would KEEP the pass and stay at the same level”
Allowing monthly payments for annual passes has been blamed for a surge in overcrowding at Disneyland.
“Cheap monthly payments have driven record attendance throughout the industry, as many fans who feel priced out of daily tickets end up (somewhat ironically) finding annual passes a more affordable deal,” wrote Robert Niles, a Southern California News Group theme park columnist. “That’s especially true at Disneyland, where reportedly more than a million Southern Californians have bought Disneyland Resort annual passes.”
The introduction of monthly payments was the tipping point for Disneyland’s crowding issues according to Blooploop’s Lance Hart. With the budget-friendly monthly payments, many Southern Californian’s felt it was worth the cost to be able to visit Disneyland whenever they wanted.
“From here Disneyland found itself with a bit of a problem,” wrote Hart. “Crowd levels at the California theme parks had now surged to the point where there was really no longer a slow season for Disneyland or California Adventure. Tourists arriving from afar who may have tried to plan a trip to visit in what they thought was a slower season were often shocked at how crowded the park was, no matter what time of year they would visit.”
We are very interested to see what the new Disneyland membership program will look like.
New Toy Features Major Spoiler for the End of ‘WandaVision‘ Series. SPOILER ALERT! This post discusses potentially major spoilers for the final episodes of WandaVision. If you do not want aspects of the series ruined for you we recommend you stop reading past this point, Thank-you!
Since the introduction of “Pietro Maximoff” in the WandaVision series fans have felt there is something more to this mysterious addition to the series. It seems even Wanda isn’t too sure she is dealing with her dearly departed brother. Though we couldn’t explore this idea much in episode 5 since we didn’t get to see “Pietro” until the last few moments of the episode, we did see Wanda give a few test questions to her “brother” to try and ease her suspicions.
This week, Funko POP! has added fuel to the fire and speculation after releasing the concept art for a new WandaVision figurine that labels Evan Peters Pietro Maximoff with quotations around the name, heavily suggesting that “Pietro” may not be who he says he is.
It should be noted, when Funko POP! adds quotations around the names of characters it usually means the character is actually not who they say they are in that form or may feature the character as an alter ego or secret identity.
Who do you think “Pietro” actually is? Why do you think they are lying to Wanda and seemingly trying to gain her trust? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!
Marvel Studios Regains the Rights to ‘The Punisher’ and ‘Jessica Jones‘ from Netflix.
It’s been 2 years since Netflix and Marvel called it quits over the shared Marvel titles, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Iron Fist and The Defenders and cancelled all future plans for the various series. At the time, this was due to the development of Disney’s upcoming streaming service Disney+, which houses Marvel Studios content, but no formal announcement had been made and this left fans upset and confused by the seemingly sudden decision to part ways and cancel the fan favorite series.
Now, we know that Marvel Studios was aiming for the future and playing the long game regarding the content, and now that the long wait is over, we may get to see new content featuring the characters from the previous Netflix and Marvel series.
Though the future of The Punisher hangs in the balance, Jessica Jones is rumored to return in the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney+ Original Series She-Hulk, with the potential appearance of fellow Defenders such as Luke Cage and Matt Murdock (Daredevil).
What do you think? Will we get to see Krysten Ritter, Charlie Cox, and Mike Colter return to Marvel? Would you like to see them return for She-Hulk? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!
Epcot is no stranger to construction lately. At a recent visit, we noticed the waterways between The Land and The Seas pavilions are being drained. Could this mean construction will soon start on the Moana – Journey of Water attraction?
New Marvel Characters Added to ‘Captain Marvel 2‘ Cast List. Captain Marvel 2 will see the return of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) and will feature a reunion with a now grown up Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel).
Last time we saw Carol Danvers and “Lt. Trouble” together Monica was a young girl in the 90’s and helped Captain Marvel pick out her iconic superhero uniform. Now in the 2020’s, Monica is all grown up and working for S.W.O.R.D. and based off her reaction to hearing Carol’s name mentioned in WandaVision, Monica has some unfinished business with Carol that will likely be addressed in the upcoming film. Especially since we will see a young Kamala Khan joining the cast and presumably under the wing of Captain Marvel.
Though Carol and Monica will have to work through their apparent problem(s), they won’t have long to do so. The cast of leading ladies will also have to deal with a currently unnamed villain, played by actress Zawe Ashton. Zawe Ashton is a British Actress and is heavily rumored to be dating fellow Marvel star, Tom Hiddleston (Loki).

Currently, Captain Marvel 2 is currently set to premiere in theaters on November 11, 2022. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!
A new donut has come to fill a void in our stomachs. You would think that between Everglazed Donuts and Joffrey’s we’d have enough donuts to choose from at Disney Springs. You’d be wrong! Homecomin’ is just the kind of place to make donuts that makes us salivate just by looking at them. So here they are Pecan Bacon Caramel Donuts!
What’s not to love? Sweet caramel, salty bacon, crunchy pecans, on a delicious donut. It’s all good! These are part of the Homecomin’ Brunch menu under “Sunrise Starters.” For $8, you too can enjoy these indulgent mouthfuls. According to their menu, these are “Mini iced doughnuts piled with pecans, bacon and drizzled with house-made caramel.” And these are considered an appetizer at brunch! Which means you can always have more bacon.
Weekend brunch at Homecomin’ takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 1 PM. Reservations can be made in advance. Other menu items worth noting include the Hush Puppy Benedict topped with chicken tenders, poached eggs, country ham, and pimento hollandaise, as well as the Fried Egg and Avocado Toast. The big winner however is the Fried Chicken and Doughnuts. Why not have donuts for an appetizer and the main course as well? Don’t forget to top it all off with a Southern Mary, the Homecomin’ version of a Bloody Mary, complete with pecan-smoked bacon, fried green tomato, pimento cheese-stuffed olives, and a seasoned salt rim.
