New Set Photos Reveal Matt Lintz Cast in 'Ms. Marvel' Series Coming to Disney+

New Set Photos Reveal Matt Lintz Cast in ‘Ms. Marvel’ Series Coming to Disney+. Marvel Studios and Disney+ have been rather quiet on what to expect from the many Marvel Series making their way to Disney+ in the next few years. With fans currently focusing on the soon to premiere WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, other series such as She-Hulk, Hawkeye, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel have yet to enter the main spotlight of attention for Marvel fans.

For those of us who are excited for all the stories yet to be told in the MCU it comes as a fun surprise that we now have a first look at Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan as well as the addition of Matt Lintz as Kamala’s best friend and confidant Bruno Carrelli thanks to a tweet shared by @BRMarvelNews.

The photos in the tweet feature Iman Vellani and Matt Lintz while filming on set and show Kamala Khan’s superhero costume and confirm Matt’s casting as Bruno Carrelli. Likely the costume is a first edition/version for the character and strikingly looks like a standard Captain Marvel Halloween costume in the MCU. (Which, to be honest, I hope it is because that is an adorable nod to Kamala’s respect and admiration of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. Just saying.)

Within the Marvel Universe, Khan is a teenage Pakistani American from Jersey City, New Jersey with shapeshifting abilities who discovers that she has Inhuman genes in the aftermath of the “Inhumanity” storyline and assumes the mantle of Ms. Marvel from her idol Carol Danvers after Danvers becomes Captain Marvel.

Kamala Khan was also a main protagonist in the new Marvel’s Avengers video game that just launched in September for all major gaming consoles and platforms. It is currently unknown which elements of Kamala’s story from the comics will be added into the series. Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon are set to direct various episodes, with Kevin Feige set as executive producer for the new series.
