Both Walt Disney World & Universal Orlando have hit capacity today.

Disney World is showing no availability on the Park Pass website for today.

Even reports that Disney Springs is very crowded is coming to us from one of my writers who is there now.

Unfortunately Disney World will not release if their parks are at capacity like Universal Orlando does.

The Muppets share hilarious posters in celebration of ‘The Muppet Show‘ joining Disney+. This week, The Muppet Show was added to the Disney+ roster and to celebrate The Muppets shared some special posters that parody popular Disney+ series such as The Mandalorian, WandaVision, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Diary of a Future President, and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

The Muppets shared the posters on social media along with the caption: “Do not adjust your television! These shows aren’t actually streaming on Disney+… but all five seasons of #TheMuppetShow are! Raise the curtain and start streaming today.”

We love these comical takes on the popular Disney+ series!

Universal Orlando is Helping Guests get Their COVID-19 Vaccine

Universal Orlando took to Twitter to help spread the word about the COVID-19 vaccine. On their Twitter they shared Plan Your Vaccine, a website with a state-by-state guide will help you navigate when and where you are able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The website was put together by Comcast/NBCUniversal.

The website has you select your age, occupation and other applicable factors to see if you are eligible now. Plan your vaccine stays, “Everything you need to know about getting a Covid-19 vaccination as the rollout extends across the U.S.” Unfortunately the vaccine is still rolling out and not available for all but it’s getting there and this website will help.

It’s really amazing to see Universal using their platform to help inform and educate guests. Also from a business standpoint that the more people vaccinated the more people will start to travel back to the theme parks and resort. Pixar releases this Japanese-style ‘UP’ animation

Pixar releases this Japanese-style ‘UP’ animation as our prayers are answered and our hearts are melting beyond belief! Pixar has remixed the beloved Up by creating a 1:48 minute animation in Anime style on YouTube!

Released on YouTube, Pixar’s Instagram and Twitter, this adorable anime style Up is definitely worth watching. Up is one of our favourite Pixar movies with the incredible themes of friendship, family and love. However, we couldn’t believe my eyes when we saw that Pixar had remixed Up into an anime style video and had to watch it for ourselves!

The video starts with the gut wrenching romance of Ellie and Carl and condenses the Married Life montage into a couple of seconds, however, the emotions remain the same! The rest of the video follows the story of Carl and Russell as they take flight to Paradise Falls and encounter Kevin! Whilst there is no dialogue in this video, we love how it pays homage to 90s/00s anime with a rock inspired, almost theme title music through the 1:49 minute video! Watching the video, you can definitely see Pixar also paying homage to many much loved anime shows such as Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z as Carl definitely goes super saiyan to save the day!

We also love the look of the characters, as the anime style really shows their personalities! We feel the 1:48 minute video captured the adventure of Up really well and loved how it ended with Russell receiving his grape badge, as if he just beaten the 8th gym master!

More scrim around Peter Pan’s Flight in the Magic Kingdom

A few days ago, we took notice of work being done to one of our favorite Disney attractions. So, those traveling to Disney’s Magic Kingdom will find a new change in the landscape at Fantasyland. Construction walls are now covering the exterior of the Peter Pan’s Flight attraction.

The entire exterior of the Peter Pan’s Flight building will receive a refurbishment for aesthetic purposes. Disney is working on updating the iconic ride with a refurbishment for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration. You can see the photos of the current exterior in this post.

We’re sure the refurbishment will surely improve the exterior design. The fresh appearance is going to be delightful to guests in the future.

We’ll provide updates on the construction project as well as other preparations being made for 2021. There’s excitement in the air for Disney World’s 50th anniversary!

New Disney Designer Sketch Mickey Mouse Ears By Alex Maher

The Disney Parks Designer Ears collection continues! The latest design is a creative new pair of Sketch Mickey Mouse Ears by Alex Maher! These fun ears feature designs of Mickey through the ages, with colorful embroidery, and even a quote from Walt!

Iconic images of Mickey throughout the years look like sketches all over the white cap. The ears are classic black, which matches the black trim around the base. Colorful embroidered appliques that say “Mickey Mouse” are also sprinkled around the hat as well! The ears have some fun details, with one side saying Mickey Mouse, and the other side featuring a quote from Walt, “It all started with a mouse”, and a classic drawing.

The inside of the cap is a bold classic Mickey red, and a simple black elastic strap is also attached to keep your ears securely in place. The tag inside also has Alex Maher written on it, as part of the designer series. You’ll find these ears at select locations in Walt Disney World for $74.99.

Permiits filed for Spaceship Earth lighting show

‘The World’s Most Magical Celebration’ will be beginning on Oct. 1st, 2021 to celebrate Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary, This 18-month event will feature new experiences at the resort’s four theme parks and beyond! Part of the celebration will involve a special enhancement of Spaceship Earth for nighttime.

According to Disney Imagineers, an enhanced lighting package will be installed for the exterior of Spaceship Earth. It includes custom programming that connects this icon of EPCOT to its surroundings. The new look encapsulates the park’s transformation, and brings unique evening moments to EPCOT guests.

According to the Orange County Comptroller, the permits are for the “install of lighting equipment and low voltage terminations.” The new lighting package, with a rainbow of color shining on the geodesic sphere of Spaceship Earth. The fountain will also have a new lighting package, with a beam of light shining from the middle of the lucite pylons.

The new lighting will continue beyond “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” as a permanent feature of the park. So, guests will be able to enjoy the new appearance long after the 50th anniversary celebration is over!

Over the course of 18th months Disney will feature new experiences at the resort’s four theme parks and beyond, where shimmering EARidescent décor will appear as if by magic. Shining at the center of it all will be Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, which will add to its royal makeover from 2020 with new gold bunting, sparkling golden embellishments, and other new enhancements, including a 50th-anniversary crest warmly welcoming guests to the join the festivities.

Learn How To Make A Mickey Shaped Dessert Pizza At Home!

Did you know pizza can also be sweet? We have a Mickey Shaped Dessert Pizza recipe for you!

This tasty treat is definitely a crowd pleaser and you can use your favorite fruits. We used berries and kiwi for this one but feel free to make it your own!

MICKEY SHAPED DESSERT PIZZA

INGREDIENTS:

Your favorite sugar cookie dough recipe (or store bought dough)
1 cup of cream cheese frosting
Berries (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi and raspberries, or the berries of your choice)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Roll out sugar cookie dough on a floured surface to 1/4″ – 1/2″ thickness.
Use a knife or toothpick to lightly draw a Mickey shape in the dough.

Cut out the Mickey shape with a knife and place on a lined baking pan.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden. Let cool.
Slice the strawberries and kiwis.

Once cookie is cool, spread cream cheese frosting over the surface.

Arrange the fruits on top of the frosting. Starting in the middle, make a pattern with the fruits until the entire cookie is covered.

Disney Files permits for Fantasmic in Hollywood Studios

Could we see the return of one of the most popular nighttime shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Disney recently filed a handful of permits for Fantasmic! and other stage locations throughout the theme park. The permits indicate work will be done for both the amphitheater’s seating and stage. Even though there’s no date yet for the return of Fantasmic!, seeing such work being done is a solid indicator that Disney is making plans for guests there.

The water is currently drained at the amphitheater, but we can see signs of work being done surrounding the center stage.

Fantasmic! is the signature fireworks show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This night time spectacular is a very popular show. It’s one that all guests must see! This show combines fireworks, live performers, water, fire, boats, and classic Disney animation! It lasts about 25 minutes and is full of pure entertainment. You will see characters such as Mickey, Peter Pan, Snow White, Ariel, The Beast, Maleficent, Ursula, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee among others.

No official return date has been released. But we will keep you updated as soon as one is announced.

Epcot’s Innoventions West Demolition Continues

See the construction as it continues throughout Epcot’s Innoventions West! Back late last year, demolition and construction work started in EPCOT, preparing the park for its biggest expansion in history!

Throughout the months, we have seen the new reimagined EPCOT begin to emerge. Last month we saw construction work on Innoventions East. Back in December, there were some demolition and construction works being completed to Innoventions West. You can see the progress below.

Here you can see an up close photo of the demolition and the removal of the walls and roof.

Epcot is receiving the biggest transformation of any Disney theme park in history ever! Promising groundbreaking attractions, magnificent new landscapes and unforgettable entertainment spectaculars. Glimmer into the future of Epcot by visiting Walt Disney Imagineering presents the Epcot Experience. But it will be an engaging and immersive new showcase for guests. Many exciting changes on the way for this beloved theme park!
