Spaceship Earth Updates will remain permanent in Epcot

News of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has broke the internet this morning! Fans are excited for all of the upcoming changes coming to Disney World beginning Oct. 1, 2021!

One of the items we are most excited about is the changes being made for Spaceship Earth in Epcot and how they will remain for the foreseeable future!

Here is what Disney said about these updates:

new lights will shine across the reflective panels of Spaceship Earth, connecting to one another and resembling stars in a nighttime sky. This permanent new lighting will continue beyond “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” as a defining feature of the park.

Disney shared with us a video of the Beacons of Magic aka Park Icons and how they will be updated for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary!
