World Showcase Wine Walk Returns to Epcot

Wine Walk Returns to Epcot

We have great news for fans of Epcot and their amazing food and beverage offerings. The park is well known for the variety of wonderful adult drinks from around the world. One great way to sample some of the park’s wine selections has returned after a disappearance earlier this year. The popular Wine Walk is back at World Showcase!

World Showcase Wine Walk Returns to Epcot

The World Showcase Wine Walk is a fun prepaid experience that allows guests to try one wine each from the Italy, France and Germany pavilions. The Wine Walk experience includes two environmentally-friendly acrylic wine glasses and a passport allowing a total of six two-ounce pours. Guests then take the glasses and passports to Weinkeller in Germany, Enoteca Castello in Italy and Aux Vins de France in France to choose their pours. You don’t have to finish all three in one day though and are allowed to complete your tour on multiple visits with a valid passport. It should be noted that you will need to start your tour in France in order to get the glasses.

World Showcase Wine Walk Returns to Epcot

The Wine Walk tour at World Showcase in Epcot can be purchased for $32. If you’d like to take home one of the souvenir glasses without taking part in the walk, they can be purchased alone for $5. The glasses can still be used at any wine location, but you’ll have to pay for the pours as you go. The return of the Wine Walk and the start of Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival make this Spring a great time to visit World Showcase, make sure to check back here for more news on everything Walt Disney World has to offer this year.

Captain Marvel Blue Raspberry Dome Dessert at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

Captain Marvel Blue Raspberry Dome Dessert at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort

Captain Marvel opens in theaters THIS Friday, March 8. It’s not a coincidence this is opening on International Women’s Day either. Disney’s All-Star Movies resort, along with other locations at the Walt Disney World Resort, are offering a tasty, Captain Marvel-themed treat for the occasion.

Stop by Disney’s All-Star Movies resort for this Captain Marvel Dome treat. The dessert is big enough to share, unless you’re not into that kind of thing. (wink wink!) The Captain Marvel Dome has not been officially announced with what’s “in it,” but according to coconut.disney‘s Instagram, it has a tart crust bottom, with a layer of red peach boba, and the blue dome is blue raspberry. It comes with an edible “ticket” to Captain Marvel, and is definitely tasty!

Get ready; Captain Marvel hits theaters in just 1 day! Are you headed to the theaters this weekend to see the new film?

Business Owner Shut Down North Carolina Restaurant to take Employees to Disney.

Business Owner Shut Down North Carolina Restaurant to take Employees to Disney.

It was a dream come true for these restaurant employees when the business owner shut down North Carolina restaurant to take employees to Walt Disney World in Florida.  Now that is employer goals right there!

Business owner, Gypsy Gilliam, told the local news station that she wanted to show appreciation to her employees.  Gilliam was “blessed to be able to give them a little magic in their lives” so what better way to use this blessing than to gift the people who helped make this happen than the employees.

This story gets even better!  Not only did the business owner shut down the North Carolina restaurant down, she took all 20 employees AND their families to visit the most magical place on earth.  Gilliam paid for all expenses during the adventure: hotel accommodations and food included.

To say the employees were in shock is an understatement!  Employee, Jessica Burr, expressed her gratitude stating she would “never have been able to take (her son) on a trip like this.”  Jasmine Kamel continued on the gratitude train stating, “It was so amazing.  I cried a couple of times.  I could cry right now.  I don’t think she’ll ever understand how grateful we are for what she did for us.”

We agree ladies!  What an amazing gift!  We just have one question for Gilliam, are you hiring?  We foresee an influx of employees in your future!

Captain Marvel Expected to Hit $350 Million Opening Weekend

Captain Marvel Expected to Hit $350 Million Opening Weekend

The newest super-powered addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is on her way and it looks like she’s going to make an impressive landing when she arrives. Captain Marvel is set to hit screens this weekend and the latest projections have the film making a whopping $350 million worldwide in its first few days.

Captain Marvel Expected to Hit $350 Million Opening Weekend

Captain Marvel has quickly become a highly anticipated new chapter in the MCU. It marks the first female-led feature in the Marvel series of films and has already garnered a mostly positive critical reception. Projections are now putting the film’s opening weekend to reach $150 million domestically which added to global box office figures would put the film well above the $300 million mark. Ticket presales for the new film are already above those for Avengers: Infinity War, but it’s expected that Captain Marvel can break Infinity War’s massive opening weekend of $640.5 million.

These projections would put Captain Marvel right behind Black Panther which took in $371.4 million on its opening weekend. Even though that means it would still not beat other big MCU openings like the first Avengers which made a $392.5 million opening, it’s still a very strong debut for a new character and would continue Marvel’s pattern success. Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jude Law. The story follows Airforce pilot Carol Danvers as she discovers secrets about her past while trying to protect Earth from an intergalactic war. We got a small tease of the character at the end of Avengers: Infinity war, signaling her involvement in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, this May. Captain Marvel debuts in theaters on March 8th.
