Disney made a big move a year ago when it announced that a group of offsite hotels would be given some of the same perks of onsite hotel guests. Extra Magic Hours and an extended 60 day Fastpass+ booking window were added to a handful of quality hotels close to the property. Now we have word that those benefits have been extended to two more hotels in the area.

The Waldorf Astoria and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek were just announced to be added to the list of hotels that aren’t run by Disney to get the extra amenities. With these benefits, hotel guests will be able to take advantage of booking their Fastpasses at 60 days prior to arrival instead of the usual 30 days for offsite guests. In addition, they will also be able to attend Extra Magic Hours, which allows park access either earlier or later than posted operating times. Guests taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours perk will be given a voucher to use alongside their park ticket.

When it was initially announced, there were 7 hotels on the list of offsite locations with the added benefits. The program has proved to be successful and the company renewed the contracts with those hotels last year. The move is most likely to help prepare for the larger influx of guests that will come with the opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge this fall, as well as Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary next year.
