Watch Dumbo soar with Spirit Airlines!
Today, Spirit Airlines unveiled its extra-special themed Airbus A321. The aircraft features a gigantic image of the ever-so-loved character Dumbo. This reveal came at the perfect time to celebrate the release of Disney’s upcoming live-action film.
Disney and Spirit revealed the newly designed plane along with a time-lapse video of the decal-wrapping process. The design process took place at Spirit’s high-tech Detroit maintenance hangar.
Check out the video below:
The newest plane will join Spirit’s Fit Fleet of 132 planes. This fleet is one of the most fuel-efficient in the entire country. The plan will take off for the first time today from Detroit Metro Airport to Orlando International Airport.
You might get a chance to take flight with Dumbo in the next three days if you are flying between Detroit, Orlando, San Juan, Fort Lauderdale, or Baltimore/Washington! Otherwise, the new aircraft will fly across the country for the next two months to honor the movie’s release on March 29th.
Who’s hoping for a seat on this plane?
