Tokyo DisneySea is currently hosting ‘Pixar Playtime’ and for a limited time only our favourite French mouse is making an appearance! Staring in his own show, “Chef Remy and You” running from 11th January to 25th March 2019!

A pop-up French restaurant, Ratatouille from the Disney Pixar film of the same name is back on the Mediterranean Harbor! Staring alongside the culinary genius is the cheerful waiter and the chefs-in-training to take orders from the guests. They try to prepare the special full-course meal of the day, however, they don’t succeed. Don’t fear! Chef Remy is here! He shows up just on time to encourage everyone to join and prepare the meal together!

Following Chef Remy’s directions, the guests will “cook” happily together with the chefs-in-training and together will produce a special French meal!

Beginning March 30, 2019, the elegant surrounding of Napa Rose at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will serve as the perfect backdrop for a brand new princess breakfast experience. Begin your morning with a memorable, one-of-a-kind adventure alongside your favorite Disney princesses. Dumbo Inspired Dooney & Bourke Collection Flying Onto Shelves Soon

Did you ever see an elephant fly? Well I have a feeling we’ll see these beautiful New Dumbo Dooney & Bourke Handbags fly off the shelves pretty quick! This new collection is inspired by the Dumbo Live Action Film coming to theaters on March 29th.

This whimsical collection of handbags is coming soon to the Disney Parks, to celebrate the new Dumbo Live Action Film. The collection will feature three bags, a tote, a fold over crossbody, and a fold over wristlet. Brightly colored designs stand out beautifully on a crisp white background, and the bag is trimmed in stitched light leather.

I’m curious if we’ll see other collaborations in this same print as well, I think it would make a fun MagicBand, don’t you?

The Dumbo collection is just one of two new Dooney & Bourke designs sneak peeked for the Spring, we can also look forward to seeing a Disney Parks Mickey Mouse Dooney Collection this Spring as well!

We do not have the official release date for the Dumbo Dooney & Bourke Collection yet, but we expect it to fly onto shelves before the Live Action Film premieres at the end of March. The tote bag will definitely be great for carrying an entire box of tissues in. I’ll need them, because I am sure this movie is going to make me tear up just like the animated classic still does to this day!

Mom Mistakenly Donates Disney Mug to Goodwill With $6K In It

A mom from the metro Atlanta area accidentally threw away a Disney travel mug filled with $6,500 stashed away inside. Channel 2 WSBTVAtlanta is reporting that Lindsay Preiss reached out to the news station in an attempt to recover a Disney Parks travel mug she donated to the Goodwill.

Preiss’s son had just sold his car and stashed the money in the travel mug with the Mickey Mouse sticker on it and the mom didn’t know when she donated the mug to Goodwill. He stashed it away for safekeeping in the mug because the banks were closed on Sunday, not knowing mom was doing a little early spring cleaning.

Mom and son are both hoping the money will be returned to them by a good samaritan who hears about the story on the news. “(I feel) like the worst mom in the world. I mean I feel terrible,” Preiss said. They contacted the Goodwill store on Highway 138 in Conyers and it was determined the mug was purchased.

“We would be very, very thankful if you brought it back,” Preiss said. “I’m just asking someone to please have it in your heart to do the right thing and give it back.”

Poor mom! The family is offering a monetary award for the returned mug with the money.

Spring is just around the corner, thankfully, which means so is the 2019 Flower & Garden Festival! Located in Epcot, the 2019 Flower & Garden Festival will begin March 6^th! This year with be the 26^th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival and you won’t want to miss the new additions this year. Trust us!

This year’s festival will be adding new topiaries, food, gardens and an expanded lineup for the Garden Rocks Concert Series! Featuring dozens of crafted topiaries and beds of gorgeous flowers, Epcot transforms this amazing park into an amazing floral wonderland. That’s 70,000 festival flowers surrounding the lakes in Future World. It is seriously so breathtaking and should be on your bucket list!

The hand-crafted topiaries are amazing in person. Guest can enjoy the beauty of topiaries in the shape of classic characters, such as Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp, Elsa, and more! This year there will be additional topiaries! Joining Woody and Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story topiary, near the Family Play Zone in Future World East, will be Bo Peep and her sheep!!

There will also be a new topiary of sorts on display in Future World. In celebration of Disneynature’s “Penguins”, set to open on April 17^th, there will be an adult and baby Adelie penguin on display made from recycled marine debris. The display, created by the non-profit organization WashedAshore.org, is designed to inspire guests to keep our oceans waterways clear of plastic.

Guests will also be able to explore gardens and exhibits throughout the 2019 Flower & Garden Festival! Take a relaxing stroll through several World Showcase pavilions with each garden featuring its own theme, like this “Cars” Garden or the Goodness Garden Butterfly House presented by GoGo squeez.

Located in a special tent in the middle of the Flower & Garden Festival is the Butterfly House that houses nearly 1,000 native butterflies, cocoons, caterpillars and the garden’s nearly two dozen nectar plants. This is a great spot to slow down and relax as you take in the beauty of nature and the life cycle of a butterfly.

Don’t forget to keep your eye out for Spike, Epcot’s favorite Bee, as you travel along the pollination trail. Spike offers up a family scavenger hunt with even more locations this year! Once you have finished make sure you commemorate your family fun with the select merchandise featuring that lovable bee! Also returning this year for guests visiting April 5-21, while supplies last, is the Eggstravaganza Scavenger hunt that allows guests to search for the Disney character-themed eggs around the World Showcase. Note: Guests cannot collect the eggs, you place a sticker on a map and collect a prize at the end.

We know that all the walking as worked up quite an appetite! Don’t worry, guests can sample new culinary dishes this year and visit several outdoor kitchens! Several traditional Epcot food-and-beverage locations will offer festival-themed food to add the 2019 Food & Garden Festival atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at any of the 15 popular Epcot Restaurants, with advanced dining reservations, including those that guarantee seating for a nightly concert when you purchase a Garden Rocks Dining Package. Avengers Stars Have A Bromantic Twitter Exchange

Ah, bromance. The month of February is upon us and soon hearts will be everywhere. Two of our favorite superhero stars are showing the love a little early. So, what do you get when you add Twitter, Disney Bounding and throw in just a dash of bromance. Well, the most adorable tweets of course. Iron Man and Captain America, otherwise known as Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans took to Twitter recently and added what has become a series of hilarious tweets.

There have been plenty of reports of shenanigans both on and off the set. It is obvious the ensemble cast is not afraid of having a good time. Taking the laughs to twitter has allowed the stars and their fans to all get in on the fun.

It all starts innocently enough with Robert Downey Jr. taking on a likeness as Snow White. Sporting a blue t-shirt, bright red scarf, matching sneakers, and sunshine yellow pants the star takes on a likeness, albeit vague likeness to Snow White. While donning the princess wear, Robert Downey Jr. attached a photo of Chris Evans looking particularly Charming, Prine Charming that is, in a suit. The hilarity ensued from there.

Last month we were given the fabulous opportunity to check out the Sweet Disney Springs merchandise preview! There are so many incredible things to look forward to it’s hard to decide on our favorites. One stand out is definitely the sparkly new Silver Disney Castle Minnie Ears.

The sparkly new ears are one of six new pairs previewed for the Spring Season at Disney. Dripping in silver micro sequins these ears bring out the serious shimmer, and are finished off with a metallic plush bow, and a glittery Disney Castle detail. Other ears to look forward to soon are Lollipop, Donut, Mint & Pink, Navy Polka Dot, Floral, and it’s a small world.

Oscar Nominee and SAG Winner Black Panther Returning to Theaters

Disney has announced that in celebration of Black History Month, award-winning film Black Panther will return to theaters for a limited engagement. The hit Marvel film recently received a Screen Actors Guild award for Best Ensemble and is nominated for multiple Academy Awards including Best Picture. At select AMC Theaters from February 1-7, Black Panther will be shown on the big screen again, but this time for free. To make sure as many people can take advantage of this unique screening, there will be two showings a day at each participating theater.

In honor of Black History Month Disney also announced that they will be giving a $1.5 million grant to support UNCF (United Negro College Fund) to help in their mission to assist minority students to gain access and move through college. “‘Black Panther’ is groundbreaking for many reasons, including the rich diversity of voices behind its success,” said Robert A. Iger, Chairman, and CEO of The Walt Disney Company. “The story also showcases the power of knowledge to change the world for the better, and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to it. We’re proud to provide thousands of free screenings of ‘Black Panther’ in hopes it will continue to inspire audiences, and to support UNCF with a $1.5 million grant to make the dream of higher education a reality for more students.”

Black Panther debuted to rave reviews from both audiences and critics in 2018 and became the highest grossing Marvel film to date. The film follows the king and protector of fictional African nation Wakanda, T’Challa as he battles to keep his throne and save his people from a usurper with ties to his family’s past. The film finished first in box office receipts for 2018 and has been nominated for Best Picture, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, Best Original Music Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound Mixing and Best Sound Editing at this years Oscars. A Case of Hepatitis A Has Been Detected in Worker at Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review.

A case of Hepatitis A was detected in a food service worker at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The Florida Department of Health has cleaned and sanitized the entire location and has found no reason for guests to be alarmed.

The health department said it received a report of the hepatitis A case on Jan. 24. “Our epidemiology staff partnered with Disney to vaccinate employees at the venue last week. Disney continues that process of vaccinating their employees,” health officials said.

A spokesperson with Disney said:

“Nothing is more important to us than safety. Upon learning this news, we immediately began working with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County. The impacted cast member has not worked since being diagnosed and will not return until officially cleared by the Department of Health. We are not aware of anyone else becoming ill and continue to be engaged with the Department of Health to ensure we have all of the right processes in place to protect our cast members and guests.”
