The Christmas Lights at Disneyland Are Set to Glow

Christmas lights at Disneyland

Is there anything more more nostalgic than Christmas lights? Nothing brings out the sense of splendor and childlike wonder of the holidays like Christmas lights do. And Christmas lights at Disneyland? Even more magical!
On November 9th the Christmas lights at Disneyland will once again be all aglow.
Even if the weather isn’t exactly chilly in Anaheim yet, you can’t help but dream of a white Christmas when you catch a glimpse of the breathtaking icicle draped Sleeping Beauty Castle standing tall at the end of Main Street.

Small world lights
The castle won’t be the only thing lighting the night. On November 9,  it’s a small world will be reopening from a lengthy closure as it prepared for the holidays. As it does every year it will shine with multicolored lights and beautiful wreaths on the outside and it’s traditional holiday overlay on the inside spreading the message of peace, unity, and togetherness.
If you find yourself “home” this holiday, get yourself a hot cocoa from the coffee cart on Main Street and take a stroll with a loved one hand in hand around the park to take in the beauty of the season at Disneyland this Christmas season. The sights and sounds of the Holidays can truly be felt here in a way that very few places can rival.

“Ralph Breaks the Internet” Tickets on Sale Today

"Ralph Breaks the Internet" Tickets on Sale Today

Tickets are on sale today for the highly-anticipated Ralph Breaks the Internet.  The film opens on November 21 and follows the further adventures of Wreck-It Ralph. Here’s a new clip featuring Yesss—the head algorithm of a trend-making website called BuzzzTube—who helps make Ralph the next viral video sensation.

In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” video-game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and best friend Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game, Sugar Rush. Their quest takes them to the vast, uncharted world of the internet where they rely on the citizens of the internet to help navigate their way. Lending a virtual hand are Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and Shank (voice of Gal Gadot), a tough-as-nails driver from an online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race, a place Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces—so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had.

Directed by Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Zootopia,” writer, “Cedar Rapids”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt,” “Lilo & Stitch”), “Ralph Breaks the Internet” hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

New After Hours Events coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

New After Hours Events coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

Disney After Hours events have been such a huge hit among Disney fans and we wanted to share this good news with you first: not only are more event nights set for Magic Kingdom Park, but for the first time, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will join in on the fun!

If you haven’t experienced one of these exclusive events yet,  After Hours events give you a chance to experiencea a Disney theme park for three hours after regular park hours.  That means means much shorter waits for  attractions, experiences and character greetings! The perks don’t end there though, a ticket to an After Hours event allows you to enter the Park at 7 p.m. on your event night – several hours before Disney After Hours begins. Ice cream, popcorn and select beverages are also included in your Disney After Hours admission, which is a separately priced ticket from daytime park admission.

Here’s what to expect at each park:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Toy Story Land is home to some of the hottest attractions around right now (and hardest to find FastPasses too). That means long lines and lots of time spent waiting, unless you’re at an After Hours Event.  Then you’ll be able to experience Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirming Saucers and Toy Story Midway Mania, with almost no wait at all. Rockin’ Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and other attractions will also be available. If hunger strikes, select quick-service locations will also stay open for purchases throughout the night. Event nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be: Dec. 8, 15 and 22, 2018; and Jan. 5, 12 and 19, 2019; Feb. 2, 9 and 16, 2019; March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2019; and April 6 and 13, 2019.

Like Hollywood Studios, certain quick-service locations will remain open throughout the night to satisfy those late night cravings. Dates at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are: Dec. 4, 12 and 18, 2018; and Jan. 8, 16, 22 and 31, 2019; and Feb. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 26, 2019; and March 5, 20 and 27, 2019; and April 3, 2019.

The Three Caballeros are Coming to Ducktales

The Three Caballeros are Coming to Ducktales

Since their well received reveal at the DuckTales panel at San Diego Comic Con, fans of DuckTales have been waiting to see our fine feathered friends run into the musical pals from The Three Cabelleros. Though we already reported on their arrival we now have more details about the much anticipated arrival of the musical trio.

Arturo del Puerto (“Camping”) and Bernardo de Paula (“Shameless”, “Doc McStuffins”) bring Panchito Pistoles and José de Carioca to life by lending their voices to these beloved classic Disney characters. Tony Anselmo is still the series regular to voice our favorite of the classic Disney Characters, Donald Duck.

The Ducktales Gang – Huey (Danny Pudi), Dewey (Ben Schwartz), Louie (Bobby Moynihan), Webby (Kate Micucci), Scrooge McDuck (David Tennant), and Donald Duck take a trip to Brazil on one of their zangy adventures together. During their travels they run into the famed members of Donald’s old band, The Three Caballeros. They share a warm reunion with each other before continuing their task at hand.

The episode will air November 10, 2018 on Disney Channel. If you can’t wait until then you can watch the trailer for the episode to get a sneak peek and even hear the characters for the first time in the video posted below:

Disney Fans were first introduced to José de Carioca and Panchito Pistoles when the band was introduced in the 1944 film, The Three Cabelleros. Since then, the band has made appearances throughout Disney specials and movies and even have their own attraction at Epcot in Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. The ride can be located inside the pyramid of the Mexico Pavilion in The World Showcase portion of Epcot.

Fans from all over the world will be delighted to see them go on a grand adventure with the DuckTales Troupe coming to Disney Channel on November 10th.

Snowman Mickey Holiday Ornament Stein Has Been Spotted

Mickey Holiday Ornament Stein

The winter holidays are definitely in full swing at Walt Disney World! Delightful new holiday novelty souvenirs continue to appear, and personally I want them all. The newest holiday novelty we’ve spotted is the Snowman Mickey Holiday Ornament Stein!

Snowman Mickey Holiday Ornament Stein Has Been Spotted

This cute mug can hold your beverage to keep your hands from getting to warm, or too cold, or you can drink your beverage straight from the stein. The Santa Mickey version from last year was very popular, so we’re excited to see a new version to add to our collections.

Snowman Mickey Holiday Ornament Stein Has Been Spotted

These steins have been spotted at Drink Carts and Quick Serves throughout Animal Kingdom, and you can purchase it with, or without the drink. These cuties tend to sell out fast, so if you love it, grab it while you can!

Will you be adding the Snowman Mickey Holiday Ornament Stein to your souvenir collection?
