The ‘Olelo Room at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa Is Now Serving Sushi

The ‘Olelo Room is one of my favorite places at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. ‘Olelo is Hawaiian for ‘word’ or ‘to converse’ and the lounge truly celebrates the Hawaiian language in all of the details. From the decor- carvings of common objects, with labels that convey their Hawaiian names, to friendly staff who will happily practice pronunciation with you.  Guests are surrounded by written words as they enjoy the sounds of soothing music being played live on the patio.

The ‘Olelo Room offers appetizers throughout the day and small plates in the evening. A new addition to the small plate offerings is sushi and sashimi! Sushi is now available from 5:00 – 9:00 PM in the ‘Olelo Room.

Your taste buds will enjoy He‘e (Octopus) or Papa‘i (King Crab – Kani), a plant-based Mea Ulu Roll, and a Kaleponi Roll (California Roll).

Whether you choose to enjoy the ambiance of the welcoming lounge or to dine al fresco on the beautiful patio, these new bites will surely be a treat for your ‘Ohana!
