There is a lot of fun happening at Donald’s Dino-Bash! in DinoLand, U.S.A.! At the Dino-Bash you can party down with some of your favorite characters in fun Dino-Bash outfits. Now you can even bring some of them home with new Plush Dinosaur Characters, just like you see them at the parks!

You can now find new plush versions of Donald and Chip ‘n Dale in their official Dino-Bash! costumes. Donald is bold in colorful in his Dino-Bash prehistoric party outfit, and Chip ‘n Dale are working it in their dinosaur suits. Donald is rocking his dino speckled suit jacket, with his officiator of ceremonies dino sash, complete with badge and fringe.

Chip ‘n Dale are always a pair, and their Dino plush versions come as a set, holding hands! All the details are there from the horns to their dino speckles! Donald and Chip ‘n Dale are available now in Animal Kingdom at Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures and the Dino-Rama Cart.

Take A First Look At The Cast of Marvel’s ‘Black Widow‘. Marvel Studios shared a ton of information about Phase 4 of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) during their Hall H panel at San Diego Comic Con this last weekend. One of the highlights was the official announcement of Marvel’s Black Widow and the introduction of the films cast!

Entertainment Weekly (EW) got an up close look with the cast of the highly anticipated Scarlett Johansson led Marvel film. Take a look at the cast and find out who they will be playing!

David Harbour as Alexi/Red Guardian.

As we saw in Captain America: Civil War, the Russians were developing their own superhero program and one of their experiments turned David’s character, Alexi, into “Red Guardian”. Red Guardian is essentially Russia’s successful version of Captain America.

Scarlett Johansson returns as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow.

“I don’t think I could have played this iteration of Natasha 10 years ago,” Johansson said during Marvel’s Hall H panel at SDCC. “It would’ve been a very different film. I get to play Natasha as a fully realized woman and in all of her many facets. I’m excited for fans to see the flawed side of her, what she perceives to be the flawed side of her. And I’m looking to wipe out some of that red in my ledger, so you guys will be seeing a lot of that.”

Marvel’s Black Widow is being directed by Cart Shortland and will be set in Budapest with Natasha fighting against the villainous Taskmaster. The film is set for release in theaters May 1, 2020 and will usher in Phase 4 of the MCU.

James Cameron Salutes “Avengers: Endgame” on Box Office Record

James Cameron offered his congratulations to “Avengers: Endgame” for passing “Avatar” for the all time box office record.

Last weekend, “Avengers: Endgame” became the highest grossing movie of all time at the global box office. After the original debut in 2009 and a few re-releases in 2010, “Avatar” held the top spot for almost a decade.

Here’s what James Cameron posted on the “Avatar” franchise social media pages:

“Oel Ngati Kamele, I see you Marvel – Congratulations to Avengers: Endgame on being the new box office king.”

This message was posted on a photo of the two franchises merging into one. Iron Man is shown with a group of woodsprites of Pandora.

“Oel ngatie kamele” is a well-known phrase of the Na’vi people from the film “Avatar”. It means “I See You” and Cameron used it to recognize the success of his fellow filmmakers.

“Avengers: Endgame” may be the highest grossing movie of all time, but James Cameron still holds the silver and bronze medals. “Avatar” and “Titanic” are second and third on the list. Half of the top ten highest grossing movies are from the Marvel Universe. These films are “Avengers: Infinity War”, “Marvel’s The Avengers”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, and “Black Panther”.

The only three films that weren’t created by Marvel or James Cameron are “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, “Jurassic World”, and “Furious 7”.

Cameron is hoping to snag the highest spot once again when the “Avatar” sequel premieres. Or will “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” take the lead? We will just have to wait and see!

Disney Hiring Gondola Workers for Skyliner

Disney is now hiring gondola workers for the new skyliner transportation system in Walt Disney World!

The Disney Skyliner will open September 29th, 2019. This new mode of transportation will take guests to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and between the Art of Animation Resort, Pop Century Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the new Riviera Resort.

Disney Skyliner Cast Members will greet guests, load and unload the gondolas, monitor and operate the system, deliver narrations and most importantly, send guests on a magical ride through the sky!

Check out Disney’s basic qualifications for gondola workers:

Flexible scheduling availability including first and second shifts, third shift if applicable, weekends, holidays, overtime and double shifts
Part-Time roles require a minimum of THREE (3) days of FULL AVAILABILITY in order to be considered for this opportunity
Must be at least 18 years of age for all available roles
Must ensure the safety of all Guests and Cast Members
Must be able to perform constant bending, stooping, and kneeling
Must be able to grip, grasp, and lift from 5 to 25 pounds
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to push and pull up to 15 pounds
Driver’s License required

Problem Solving and Guest recovery skills

Say Aloha To The New Aulani Loungefly And Sunny Days Collection

There is a vibrant new Sunny Days collection now available at Aulani! Duffy and his friends are enjoying Hawaii on a new Aulani Loungefly backpack, Loungefly hip pack, character key chains and more. The collection features Duffy and the gang enjoying the beauty, adventure, happiness and Aloha in the setting of Hawai‘i.

The new collection is exclusive to the Aulani Resort, and features Duffy, Shellie may, Stella Lou, Geletoni, and Olu! These characters are originally from Tokyo Disney SEA, so it’s great to see them a little closer to home too. The new Loungefly mini backpack and fanny pack are fun and fashionable. The bags depict scenes of the friends in Hawaii, enjoying some of the things they love best. Stella Lou and Shellie May make flower leis, ʻOlu strums his ukulele, and Duffy and Geletoni join in the tropical activities with their friends.

There is also a colorful collection of key chains! Duffy, Stella Lou and ‘Olu, are dressed in their tropical best for a day in paradise. But they won’t be caught just hanging around. I absolutely adore that ‘Olu has his little ukulele! I only wish there was a little bit more for Geletoni, he’s my favorite!

The Newest Disney Wall Trend is Picture Perfect

Are you hip to the new trend of Instagram Disney walls? The infamous purple wall that seemingly started it all took Instagram worthy photos to a whole new height at Disney Parks. Now, these pops of color are making their way around many of the parks. The newest addition the “Sorbet Wall” as its being called you can find over in the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrow land. This new paint job has brightened up Mickey’s Star Trader. Its a bright turquoise meets a youthful coral color. This backdrop you will have to work for a little more than the fan-favorite purple wall. You will have to stand on a bench and get the right angle if you don’t want the bushes in your shot, but if you get it just right it will add that punch of color to make for a standout Instagram photo.

If you look right across from Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin you might notice another fresh photo op that is being hailed as the “Mint Wall.” It is a Minty Aqua color and bright white, the name says it all. It is not a flat wall like the purple wall, but its angles will add a bit of dimension to your shot. It has a wide enough space for some posh group photos too!

Another picture-perfect spot gaining more attention is worth mentioning, the “Toothpaste Wall” as it is being titled is over in Epcot by the Finding Nemo Ride. This blue, teal and, purple color combo and the wave-like pattern is beautiful and will give you a stunning backdrop for your photos. If you are looking for more walls in Epcot, it is also home to the Bubble gum wall that has its own fan base.

The Disney wall trend is expanding and now these color patterns are being seen on lots of merchandise, and lending inspiration to treats even. There is everything from ears, to pins and, purses. Fans of these Disney walls are flocking to them donning their wall inspired colorful merchandise with their treats in their coordinating hue to take their Instagram worthy photo.

When planning a Disney vacation, guests expect the best hotels, the best attractions, and the best eats. Disney is definitely delivering on the eats! USA Today rated many Disney Parks eateries in their “Top 10 Amusement Park Restaurants” list. Here’s the top 10:

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater: Located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this uniquely themed restaurant offers a meal and an experience. Take a trip back to the 1950’s, and watch retro sci-fi film clips. Dine in a booth designed like a classic car. The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater offers a lunch and dinner menu that is out of this world!
Three Broomsticks: Universal Studios Hollywood

California Grill: Enjoy a delicious meal and spectacular view while dining at California Grill. This gourmet restaurant is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. What makes this spot unique is the magnificent view, which allows guest to see the nighttime fireworks from their table!

Moana Cupcake Makes Way to Disney Property

This cupcake is so pretty! Moana would be proud of the Heart of Te Fiti Necklace sitting above the famous POG (Passionfruit-Orange-Guava) juice frosting. This POG juice has become a staple in the Disney breakfast buffets. The POG flavor was a miss for me in this frosting but definitely sweet.

The “heart” is a white chocolate candy. Blue crystal sprinkles make the cupcake sparkle. Toasted coconut flakes adorn the edges adding another texture to the cupcake.

Honestly, the pineapple-filled pineapple cupcake was the highlight for me! The cupcake itself is a little bit less of a cupcake and a little more like the pineapple upside-down cake featured at the Magic Kingdom where they top it with Dole whip (which is so good).

Overall the Moana cupcake is one of the better cupcakes on property, but I did miss the anticipated tropical flavor in the frosting. The Moana cupcake can be found at the All-Star Music Resort for $5.99. It is also eligible as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

Blueberry Grass Band Makes its Way Back to Epcot

We’re putting on our dancing shoes and getting ready for a party! Blueberry Grass Band is on its way back to the Canada pavilion at Walt Disney World‘s Epcot for the end of summer. Starting July 31st and lasting until October 6th of this year, we will be serenaded once again by the Quebec natives who’ve previously brought a joyous blend of music and antics to the Disney stage.

The band is known for playing French and English Canadian hits with a Bluegrass twist. They’ll be on stage Tuesday through Saturday at 2:15, 3:30, 5:00, 6:15, and 7:00 PM. Six talented musicians come together to form this group, with singing by Marie-Noëlle Claveau, guitar by Pascal Beaulieu (who also does vocals), violin by Sébastien Savard (also a vocalist and the founder of the band), percussion by David Simard, banjo by Benoît Girard (who also does vocals), and double bass by Charles Gagnon-Gilbert. Their inspirations vary from hip hop to Blues and seemingly everything in between, while their experience boasts such accolades as “Britain’s Got Talent” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

With a unique name like “Blueberry Grass Band,” there is always a story. Theirs starts with the nickname given to locals of their home region of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean: blueberries. As a tribute to their roots, they’ve carried the name across Northern America and beyond, soon to revisit us at Walt Disney World.

Hurry up and brush up those moves because you haven’t got much time left before the celebration begins. We know we’ll be making extra stops in Canada soon for one of the most festive gatherings in all of Epcot!

Valkyrie will be Marvel’s first LGBTQ Superhero in Thor: Love and Thunder

Last night at Comic-Con it was announced that Valkyrie from the Thor movies, played by Tessa Thompson will be Marvel’s first openly LGBTQ character.

Tessa alongside fellow stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Director Taika Waititi announced that one of the storylines in Thor: Love and Thunder will be her seeking out her Queen to rule alongside her in the Earth town New Asgard.

Kevin Fiege later confirmed this in an interview with io9, that Valkyrie is Marvel’s first openly LGBTQ superhero.

Originally in Thor Ragnarok a scene was cut showing a woman leaving Valkyrie’s bedroom implying a sexual encounter and Tessa states she always played her character as bisexual so it left the door open for her character to be more open about it in Thor: Love and Thunder.

No word yet on who her love interest will be, but since the movie isn’t out till November 5, 2021 we have time to learn more details.

Churros Churros and more Churros at Tokyo Disneyland!

Can you ever have enough churros at Tokyo Disneyland? Did you know Tokyo Disneyland offers 5 types of churros in the resort?

Current Churros at Tokyo Disneyland

The first churro is the original but delicious “Mickey Churro” which is cinnamon flavoured, which can be found all over the resort. What a perfect snack for a Disney filled day! The second churro is the awesome lightsaber churro which tastes of melon soda sugar… the perfect snack for all the aspiring Jedi’s out there! The third churro is the delicious “Nemo & Friends Churro” which is orange flavoured, with vivid orange and white stripes like Nemo… isn’t it pretty?

But that’s not all… there is also a pumpkin tasting churro which appears around Halloween time! Don’t forget the most festive season of all, there’s a churro for the magical holidays season too, a chocolate tasting Churro appears during the Christmas season!

Historic Churros

To date, there have been many different flavoured churros which have appeared at Tokyo Disneyland, including maple tasting churro, honey-lemon tasting as well as sesame tasting.

There have been chocolate flavoured churros covered in mixed berry sugar, carrot flavoured churros covered with orange sugar, dips are also offered to accompany the churros!

New Churros

Three new flavors will appear this summer for such churros!
First of all, “Demiglass churros (potato)”, which is on sale today.

It is not sweet though it is churros! Although it is churros, it has a sticky texture! And, Demiglass is included in the topic “Churros (Potato)” as a new sense Churros, and the version is upgraded!

Another version, “Churros (Potato)” variation is the “Cheese & pepper churros (potato)”, which will be on sale from July 19 (Fri)!

The cheese and crispy pepper have a sticky texture. It is definitely a big success for snacks!

Also, Churros will appear with the image of a new attraction “Soaring: Fantastic Flight” close to the opening!
That’s it. “Fantastic Flight Chulos (Pineapple tasting)”!

It is a blue sunny sky to head for the Dream Flyer! Such an image of a refreshingly clear sky is a striking blue. White sugar expresses a cloud that floats easily.

‘The Lion King’ Had The Lions Share At The Box Office This Weekend

‘The Lion King‘ Had The Lions Share At The Box Office This Weekend. The newest of Disney’s Live-Action Remakes has been breaking records and taking its place in the hierarchy of Disney Films.

Disney reported The Lion King has made $185 million in the domestic box office as of Sunday morning, according to Deadline, but that is hardly the true amount the film will rake in over the course of the entire weekend and after Sunday nights numbers are officially in. According to current trends the film is expected to make upwards of $192 million domestically. According to Disney, The Lion King has also made a whopping $531 Million in the global box office making it the highest grossing live-action remake for the studio.

The Lion King toppled even more records for film by topping Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 as the best domestic opening in July by nearly $25 million! Executive Producer and Director, Jon Favreau, also set a personal record with The Lion King now holding the title of his highest opening through his entire career as a producer/director.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, The Lion King ($185 M) also surpassed Beauty and the Beast ($174.7 M) as Disney’s highest opening for a live-action remake.

Disney has consistently been the King of Entertainment the last few years and gives no sign of slowing down, if anything they have set themselves up for leading the Box Office for years to come, making other studios nervous about future projects. With Disney’s connections to Marvel Studios (MCU), Lucasfilm (Star Wars), Pixar, Fox, and more, the entertainment conglomerate is set to dominate in theaters for years with nearly every demographic covered under one or more studios.

One of the biggest undertakings for Disney is the scheduled release for their new streaming service, Disney Plus (Disney+). Like never before, Disney will be able to release exclusive content directly to consumers and they won’t have to compete in theaters meaning Disney has found the Holy Grail in entertainment.

Disney has a leg up over other studios and streaming services because of the loyalty of fans that have decades of love for certain franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, and all previous Disney titles that may make the live-action remake list, but find an outlet like Disney+ to call home.

With the further success of live-action remakes, such as The Lion King, Disney will be sitting on this trend for years to come before having to really introduce a ton of new content from their studios. Fans may not be happy about the trend, but as long as these remakes keep raking in the money, the studio will continue to reimagine their currently owned avenues.
