Target Disney Christmas Collection Is Festive And Fun

Looking to have a very merry Disney Christmas, but don’t live near the parks or Disney Store? That’s okay because the Target Disney Christmas Collection is also magical and festive! Not only do they have an assortment of Disney merriment, the prices are also great too!

There are lots of festive wrapping paper designs, so you can add an extra bit of fun to gifts. There are lots of character options available too, From Princesses to Star Wars, there is something for almost every fan.

Disney characters of all kinds are available as adorable ornaments. There are the fun cutesy ornaments that look like blown glass, but are actually shatter resistant plastic, as well as the more traditional resin ornaments.

Star Wars and Marvel fans can save the galaxy, or universe with a fun assortment of ornaments. These are also available in the two different styles. I really like the offering of the cutesy break resistant ones, and the resin ones. It gives us the option of less breakable ornaments for those of us with little ones, or pets.

We also can’t forget the stockings! There are lots of fun stocking designs for every fan. No matter the age, everyone can have their very own Disney or Star Wars character stocking to hang on the mantle.

What do you think of this year’s Target Disney Christmas Collection?

Keiki (children) will have fun with Santa Goofy during Keiki Holiday Cookie Decorating at Aunty’s Beach House. Keiki can show off their creativity making sweet treats from Dec. 2 all the way through Jan. 3, each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There is a nominal charge for this activity.

Throughout the season, the pastry chefs of Aulani will bring a bit of cool “Frozen” fascination to the warm Hawaiian winter days, with a stunning, hand-made pastry showpiece. The display will include two giant macaron trees with over 400 glittering macarons. A white chocolate tree will be the centerpiece, decorated with over 100 Mickey Mouse gingerbread cookies. The top of the tree will be adorned with everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf. The wintery scene will be complete with delicate sugar ice trees and snow babies frolicking in the “snow” with Santa Stitch.

Of course, the holidays wouldn’t be complete without indulgent treats to eat. This year, there are more scrumptious sweets than ever with candy cane Mickey macarons, holiday caramel apples, gingerbread spiced cream cheese coffee cake, peppermint brownies and much more, available for purchase. Kristen Bell Disneyland Anna and Elsa

Kristen Bell was welcomed onto The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday where she excitedly retold her brief interaction with Anna and Elsa at California’s Disneyland ResortThe “O.G. Anna” (how Bell describes herself) was enjoying a day at Disneyland with her family when they went to meet the Frozen duo.

Kristen Bell Couldn’t Believe Her Interaction With Anna and Elsa at Disneyland

Bell recalls how animated the two were when trying to interact with them.

“So, I go up, and we’re taking a picture, and I’m like, ‘Hi, how are ya?’ And she’s like ‘Arendelle is beautiful today,” Bell explains while mimicking Anna’s grand hand gestures. “And I’m like, ‘Okay she’s…Alright I’ll ask Elsa.’ And I’m like, ‘How are you doing?’ And she’s like, ‘The ice has just melted and Olaf is thrilled with the summer weather.’”

The cast members go above and beyond in portraying the Disney characters. Bell can tell, though, that these ladies have some high expectations set on them.

“All I want to do is go, ‘Blink twice if you need to be rescued cause this is crazy!’”

Though Bell wasn’t thrilled about Anna and Elsa’s in-depth character reactions, she did say that her kids loved the experience!

The Christmas Tree at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Christmas Tree

Christmas Tree
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is now fully decorated for the Christmas season!

The Christmas Tree at Disney's Wilderness Lodge

In the past week, a four-story Christmas Tree and decorations were put up in the main lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The tree at this resort is one of the largest Christmas Trees at Walt Disney World. The bright lights and custom ornaments are beautiful. It’s easy for guests to lose track of time while admiring the tree.

What makes this Christmas Tree display so special is how unique it is for a Florida resort. You truly feel like you’re transported to a Christmastime gathering somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Offering so many unique experiences makes Disney World a great place for the Christmas season!

Besides the Christmas Tree, a gingerbread house has been added this year for Wilderness Lodge. It’s designed to look like a log cabin with Humphrey the Bear decorating it! The resort has a table selling bakery treats near the gingerbread house, so it’s nice to grab a bite to eat while enjoying the sight of the Christmas Tree.

Gingerbread Beignets Have Returned at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort

Gingerbread Beignet

Did you ever wonder what Christmas on the Bayou tastes like? I’m no expert, but I imagine it tastes a lot like a warm Gingerbread Beignet, freshly pulled from the fryer, dusted with powdered sugar and ginger, just like the ones at the Walt Disney World Port Orleans Resort. It doesn’t hurt that these are the cutest beignets ever since they’re shaped like Mickey Mouse!

Gingerbread Beignets Have Returned at Disney's Port Orleans Resort

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Scat Cat’s Club has reintroduced that beloved beignet from last year’s menu. If you’ve never had a beignet from Port Orleans Resort before you can’t know what you’re missing: pillowy balls of lightly fried dough, a much more sophisticated taste than what we call a ”doughnut, ” always with a generous mount of sugar on top. But the Gingerbread Beignet is still another level of deliciousness, adding in warm spices to remind us of our favorite yuletide cookies, just much softer and sweeter!

This specific flavor is off-menu, so guests will have to ask a Cast Member for them by name. Rest assured, they’re not a big secret, and will be easy enough to get your hands on without explanation! A group of three beignets costs  $4.99, or you can use your Disney Dining Plan to purchase them. If you’re planning on sharing be sure to get a set of six for $8.49. Trust me, it will be hard enough splitting them as it is!

Gingerbread Beignets Have Returned at Disney's Port Orleans Resort

This Christmas, as you seek out the perfect holiday treats and scenery, don’t let Disney’s Port Orleans Resort pass you by. There’s nothing like walking around the Christmas tree, eating warm Gingerbread Beignets, and dreaming of the magic only Disney can bring.

‘The Mandalorian’ Beats ‘Stranger Things’ and Other Titles as Most In Demand Streamable Show

'The Mandalorian' Beats 'Stranger Things' and Other Titles as Most In Demand Streamable Show

The Mandalorian‘ Beats ‘Stranger Things’ and Other Titles as Most In Demand Streamable Show. Streaming has become the new pioneering frontier of entertainment, allowing subscribers to stream popular titles directly to their preferred devices and watch at their leisure with minimal interruptions. Newest to the service is Disney+, who is already making waves in streaming statistics with their most successful series, Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe.  “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”

According to a report from Forbes, The Mandalorian on Disney+ has been out performing every top tier streaming series so far in 2019. Parrot Analytics, leader in data research for television and streaming entities, gathered the information and compared the demands for The Mandalorian versus the other top 8 streamable series currently offered in 2019. The report from Parrot Analytics shares:

“Seven days out from its season 1 launch, demand for Disney+’s The Mandalorian in the United States is:

  • 298% ahead of CBS All Access’ Star Trek: Discovery on the 7th day after its Season 2 debut
  • 175% ahead of HBO’s Westworld on the 7th day after its Season 2 debut
  • 72.3% ahead of BBC’s Doctor Who on the 7th day after its Series 11 debut
  • 69.8% ahead of Netflix’s Stranger Things on the 7th day after its Season 2 debut
  • 58.7% ahead of Amazon Prime Video’s Good Omens
  • 35.8% ahead of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy
  • 15% ahead of Netflix’s When They See Us
  • 11.5% ahead of Netflix’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

The success of The Mandalorian may outshine the other series, but the real winner here is the viewers. With a wide variety of content and interests, this new platform has allowed for revivals of nostalgic stories and introductions to content that otherwise we would never get the chance to see.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Mandalorian on this achievement and we can’t wait to see the rest the series has to offer. We are equally as excited for Season 2 and hope to see it premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2020.

Lin-Manuel Miranda Will Have a Cameo Appearance in ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’

Lin-Manuel Miranda Will Have a Cameo Appearance in 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker'

Lin-Manuel Miranda Will Have a Cameo Appearance in ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker‘. Composer, lyricist, singer, actor, director and producer, are just some of the many titles and hats worn by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Disney fans know him best for his outstanding work on projects such as Moana, Mary Poppins Returns, and The Odd Life of Timothy Green, but Miranda is also famous for creating the instant Broadway hit, Hamilton and for his work on In the Heights.

Recently, Lucasfilm shared a ‘behind the scenes’ look at Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, set to premiere December 20th. Just shy of a minute into the video we see a shot of Star Wars newcomer, Naomi Ackie (Jannah) alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda wearing a Resistance member ensemble. Confirming Lin-Manuel has a cameo in the final film of the Skywalker Saga.

His appearance in the film does not go unwarranted. Lin-Manuel Miranda was approached by Director, J.J. Abrams to co-write “Jabba Flow” for Maz Kanata’s Cantina in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The pair even performed the piece together in Chicago, IL outside the theater Hamilton was performing in at the time.

“[The song] is actually written in Huttese, Jabba the Hutt’s language,” Miranda said at the time. “And I actually went to this website that had a Huttese glossary of terms, and [my song] translates to ‘No, lover lover, it wasn’t me.’ It’s literally a Shaggy intergalactic remix!”

It’s unclear exactly where Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear in the film, but it will be exciting to look for his cameo once the film premieres December 20, 2019.

Check out this spoiler free synopsis for The Rise of Skywalker: “The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron’s journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences.”
