Karen Gillan Confirms James Gunn’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ Script is Done and “Wonderful”. Recently, Marvel Studios Star, Karen Gillan (Nebula) spoke with Yahoo! Entertainment about her new film, Jumanji 2, and the conversation easily turned to her role as Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Gillan was asked about James Gunn’s return to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after he was controversially fired and then rehired by Marvel Studios and Disney to direct the final installment of the GotG Trilogy.

“I can say that I’ve read it and it’s amazing,” Gillan teased. “We’re all really excited that James is back to complete the trilogy because it wouldn’t have felt right without him. It’s a wonderful, wonderful script.”

In a previous interview with Variety, Karen shared, “His personality, the tone of those movies, I can only describe as James’ personality,” she said. “It’s his sense of humor, his writing, his taste in music. These characters are extensions of him. It’s a really personal project for him. It definitely wouldn’t have been the same version of ‘Guardians.’”

Karen went on with Yahoo! Entertainment to share how she never expected to have such. pivotal role in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), but has loved getting to grow her character and become a bigger part of the story. “When I signed on to Nebula, it was eight days of filming and she was supposed to die in the first Guardians film,” she explained. “So to go on and be able to evolve the character and then have her be this pivotal role in Endgame was amazing. I didn’t see it coming at all.”

2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Now Open

The 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is officially kicking off with a bang! The festival presented by AdventHealth shares an abundance of holiday traditions starting now Friday, November 29th through December 30, 2019.

Located around Epcot, storytellers from countries around the World Showcase share legends and traditions, such as a musical tour with the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs to the Hanukkah Storyteller’s tales of diverse music and customs. Plus, daily performances of JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season will share uplifting gospel, R&B, and holiday songs of Christmas and Kwanzaa at the World Showcase Plaza Stage.

In addition, the 2019 International Festival of the Holidays will feature holiday kitchens encircling the World Showcase Promenade with traditional holiday dishes for all to enjoy. Guests can find dishes such as Potato Dumpling with Mushroom Sauce from Germany, Slow-Roasted Turkey with Stuffing at American Holiday Table, Canadian Wild Rice and Ham Soup from Yukon Holiday Kitchen, and more! As guests eat around the world they can also embark on the Holiday Cookie Stroll and eat delicious sweet treats such as a gingerbread cookie or a black and white cookie.

While on a stroll through the World Showcase, be on the lookout for these special things to do and see!

Epcot SCROLLS – In each entertainment location, you’ll discover one of 13 scrolls featuring fun new ideas for your own holiday traditions and tips to find nearby holiday photo spots.
Voices of Liberty – You won’t want to miss the beautiful a cappella holiday music of the Dickens Carolers at The American Adventure pavilion.
Green Landing Family Play Zone – You and your human family can explore this lush green spot with Wall-E and Eve.
Holiday Markets – It’s easy to celebrate the season with authentic gifts from special holiday markets of Mexico, Norway, Germany, Italy, France and more! Festive Epcot merchandise collections give Chip ‘n’ Dale a showcase on mugs, jerseys, ornaments and the Holiday Cookie Jar.

Lastly, catch a performance of the beloved Candlelight Processional each evening with a celebrity narrator, 50-piece orchestra and full choir. The Candlelight Processional is performed three times nightly at 5, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. – guaranteed seating is available by booking a Candlelight Processional Dining Package.

‘The Proud Family’ Cast Confirms New Episodes Are On The Way. According to several of the shows voice actors, The Proud Family will not only be available for streaming on Disney+ soon, but will also be getting all-new episodes!

Actors Tommy Davidson (Oscar) and Jo Marie Payton (“Suga Mama”), have each made claims that they are set to work on new episodes for the Disney Channel Series which will find a new home on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.

Payton shared her news while appearing on GMA3 and was asked if she is anything like the spunky matriarch. Jo Marie replied: “Yeah, Suga’s large and in charge,” Payton replied. “That’s all I’ve got to say — except for Suga Mama will be doing some new episodes come February.”

Tommy Davidson, who lends his voice for the quirky, loud, and lovable dad, Oscar Proud, in the Disney Channel Original Series, The Proud Family, recently spoke with Where Is The Buzz during a red carpet event to spill the “Proud Snacks” to fans everywhere.

“I forgot to tell you that, The Proud Family is coming back. Proud Family’s coming back,” Davidson, who voiced Proud family father, Oscar, told Where Is the Buzz at the carpet premiere of 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. “It’s on one of Disney’s streaming [services]. Yeah, Proud Family’s coming back. They told me not to tell you. New episodes.”

The original series ran for 52 episodes between 2001-2005 on Disney Channel, and was the first cartoon to feature an African-American family. The Proud Family was also the first animated series to premiere on Disney Channel. Most shows at the time would first premiere on ABC to see how audiences responded to new content before they were given a formal Disney logo and switched to Disney Channel.

There is no word yet if the rest of the original cast will reprise their roles for the rebooted series on Disney+ and Disney has not shared details on a date for the release of The Proud Family on Disney+ at this time, but we will be sure to update you as new details emerge.

Sneak Peek at Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge

The Volunteer Family of the Year was recently given a sneak peek at the all-new Rise of the Resistance ride in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. This groundbreaking new attraction inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, opens Dec. 5, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida!

Guests join the Resistance in a climactic battle with the First Order, including a faceoff with Kylo Ren. The journey begins aboard a full-size transport shuttle and continues on a nearby Star Destroyer during a thrilling adventure that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality.

One of the most ambitious, technologically advanced and immersive experiences in Disney history, the attraction uses multiple ride systems working together to create a seamless story on a cinematic scale.

While only seeing a few seconds of the inside the Ride, I for one can’t wait to ride it!

See the The Candlelight Processional with Neil Patrick Harris Live on December 3rd

Disney will be live streaming the Candlelight Processional on December 3rd from Epcot with special guest narrator Neil Patrick Harris!

This annual show is a holiday tradition for many guests during their visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. The show combines a reading of traditional scripture by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by the sounds of a massed choir and live orchestra.

The live stream will start at 8:10 p.m. EDT.

New Minnie Mouse Ears Spotted During The Wonderful World of Disney

Thanks to Disney Style, we knew to be on the lookout for the new Redd Minnie ears on the World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration Special. However, we were surprised to see that Emma Bunton also debuted New Minnie Mouse Ears too!

Emma was wearing a stunning coppery dress, and a couple of times, she appeared wearing a matching pair of ears! These metallic sequined ears definitely had a sophisticated look to them too. The ears had a metallic brown glimmer, while the bow sparkled like a shiny new penny!

Last year the beloved TV special also introduced the Potion Purple Minnie ears. It looks like it is becoming a holiday tradition sneak peek new Minnie Ear color trends! Both the Redd, and the Copper colors look fabulous. I also hope that we will see matching Loungefly Bags, and accessories like we have in the past too! I for one would love a fierce red sequined Minnie Mouse backpack!

Which color of New Minnie Mouse Ears are you looking forward to the most? Will you be team Redd, or team Copper? I’m curious what name these metallic beauties will have, the new crimson ear’s name seems inspired by Redd from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Did you spot Jon Favreau’s Cameo in ‘The Mandalorian‘? The latest episode of The Mandalorian that premiered on Nov 22nd gave us a closer look at a few new Mandalorian bounty hunters, one of which challenges the protagonist, Dyn Jarren. A new character, Paz Vizla, who seems large and in charge initially toys with Dyn and even threatened to remove his helmet at one point.

According to Screen Rant, “Paz Vizla was voiced by Favreau as confirmed by Vanity Fair. Meanwhile, it was Tait Fletcher, the real-life MMA fighter, John Wick villain and the guy who played one of the cantina tough guys from The Mandalorian‘s first episode, who played the character physically.”

Jan Favreau is one of the show runners for the series and lent his voice for the character and implemented a new catch phrase for the series: “This is the way.” The Mandalorian has quickly become a fan favorite for Star Wars fans, with many even saying they are more excited for the next episode of the Disney+ series than they are for the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on Dec 20th.

“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”

Composer Danny Elfman Claims ‘The Simpsons‘ Is Ending Soon. With the acquisition of Fox by Disney many shows and films have either been cancelled or have plans to end after the next season or two. It appears not even popular titles such as The Simpsons will be safe from The House of Mouse.

According to The Simpsons composer, Danny Elfman, The Simpsons will be ending soon, possibly in 2020. Elfman had sat down with Joe who asked if he believed the series had passed its prime, Danny’s response was rather quick and he honestly feels it doesn’t matter because according to the famed composer, The Simpsons will be ending soon.

“Well, from what I’ve heard, it is coming to an end,” Elfman said. “So, that argument will also come to an end. I don’t know for a fact, but I’ve heard that it will be in its last year.”

The series is currently contracted for two more seasons, pushing the show to a 32nd season, which means The Simpsons will have episodes premiere in 2020 and 2021, but if Elfman is correct that could mean the series will announce an end date within the next year.

“All I can say is that I’m so flabbergasted and amazed that it has lasted as long as it did. So, you have to realize, when I scored The Simpsons, I wrote this crazy piece of music, and I expected no-one would hear it, because I really did not think the show had a chance in hell,” Elfman stated.

“Really, I expected it would run for three episodes and get cancelled, and that would be that, because it was so weird at the time, and I just didn’t think it had a chance. So believe me, that is one of the truly big surprises in my life.”
