“I’ve done movies, television and a lot of things in my career, but as hard as it is to believe I had never gotten inside a snail costume and tried to fool judges on Masked Singer. So, when this opportunity came up, I leaped at the chance. Never let it be said that this frog shirked a challenge….or is it ‘challenged a shirk?’ In any case, that’s how it happened.”

Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts in Avengers: Endgame

Gwyneth Paltrow is Willing to Return as Pepper Potts for Smaller Roles and Cameos in the MCU. After the premiere of Avengers: Endgame several actors from the film shared their good-bye’s with fans and thanked them for their support through the years as they moved on to other projects and personal endeavors. One such talent included Gwyneth Paltrow, who felt her time as Pepper Potts and rescue had come to a close after the death of Pepper’s husband, Tony Stark.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Gwyneth Paltrow seemed to change her tune about returning as Pepper for future MCU projects, with one caveat. Paltrow shared, “I think if it was a small part that I could do in like a day or two, I would of course be open to that.

This isn’t surprising, as a large part of her schedule includes running her growing business, Goop. The company has really taken off and Paltrow had recently shared she is practically “semi-retired” from acting due to the demand on her time from the business. Gwyneth previously told Digital Spy: “I’m sort of semi-retired from acting a bit because I have a company [Goop] that I do. I’m Gooped from head-to-toe but [Falchuk was] very charming.”

INSTRUCTIONS:

Sugar-cinnamon

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl (large enough to roll toast) with a fork until thoroughly blended. Set aside.

Batter

  • Whip eggs in medium bowl (large enough to dip toast) until well beaten. Add milk, cinnamon, and sugar. Mix well and set aside.

Tonga Toast

  • Using caution, preheat oil to 350F in a large pot or a deep fryer. (If using a large pot, use candy thermometer to make certain the oil does not get any hotter or it will burn).
  • Slice the bread into four three-inch thick slices.
  • Cut each banana in half crosswise, then each piece lengthwise.
  • Place a bread slice flat on the counter and tear out just enough from the middle (do not tear all the way through) to stuff half a banana into; repeat with each bread slice.
  • Dip stuffed bread into batter, covering both sides, allowing excess batter to drip off bread and place carefully in hot oil.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown. If needed, turn toast over after 2 minutes and cook for another 2 minutes on other side. Remove and drain excess oil.
  • Roll toast in cinnamon-sugar. Repeat for each piece of toast.

Enjoy!
