If being scared and chased is your thing, don’t miss out on Halloween Horror Nights. There’s plenty of scare zones and haunted houses to leave you sleeping with the lights on once you’re done. Quick disclaimer: Halloween Horror Nights is not recommended for children under 13 years old.

Perhaps the basic package isn’t enough to scare you, then I highly recommend adding on the R.I.P. Tour. This V.I.P. tour allows you priority access to your nightmares. As someone who waited 2 hours for the Stranger Things haunted house last year, I would’ve killed (pun intended) for V.I.P. treatment.  This package starts at $191.69 per person.

Another option for add-ons is the Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour.  This version takes place during the daytime and it’s a lights on version through the haunted houses. Prices start at $85.19 per person.

Keep in mind, Universal has some amazing resorts on property. My recommendation would be staying at one of the Premier Hotels which include Express Passes with your stay. Modern Family Final Season

ABC announced today that Modern Family‘s 11th season will be its last.  This brings the Emmy award-winning show to a close after 10 highly acclaimed years.  A five-time Emmy winner for Outstanding Comedy Series, “Modern Family” remains one of the most heavily awarded comedy series on television.

Co-creators Christopher Lloyd and Steve Levitan have made new deals for the final season, along with the original child actors, who are now all young adults.  Back in December, the adult cast agreed to new deals with 20th Century Fox, all but finalizing the 11th season as a done-deal.

Modern Family follows Ed O’Neill as the patriarch of the Pritchett family. Each of his children, and his own family, representing three different types of
“modern family” (nuclear, step, and same-sex).  For 10 years the extended members of the Pritchett family have delighted us with their heartfelt, and often hilarious storylines. They’ve faced turning points in life and carried the audience along for the ride as well.

The final season will debut in the Fall of 2019-2020, consisting of at least 18 episodes to start.  Modern Family airs on The ABC Television Network on Wednesday nights at 9 pm EST, as well as streaming and on demand.

There will be 10 episodes airing on Freeform.

New Super Bowl Food Trend at the Disney Parks!

Coast to coast, things are constantly changing at the Disney Parks. One of those changes being the introduction of delectable eats! From bao buns to ramen, the chefs at Disney have been hard at work delivering new and exciting items.

Disney chefs gave the scoop on the newest super menu item: bowls!

According to Chef de Cuisine of the Disneyland Resort, Mark Baun, a bowl starts with a base of white or brown rice, topped some sort of protein, and finished with a variety of fresh toppings like pickled cucumbers, watermelon, or tons of vegetables.

Lenny DeGeorge, the Culinary Director of Animal Kingdom, says, “ The story (of the bowls) is how (their) ingredients fit the theme. At Satu’li Canteen, for example, employees are using Pandora-inspired ingredients.” He also explains that the goal of a food bowl is to spark all five taste sensations: salty, sour, sweet, bitter, and umami.

From the Berbere-spiced Pork Ribs with cilantro rice from Harambe Market to the Asian Rice Bowl at Lucky Fortune Cookery, guests really can’t go wrong with this meal choice! Filling, delicious, and adora-bowl to look at!

D23 Gold and Gold Family Members are invited to dress in their Disney best and attend an elegant evening reception at The Walt Disney Studios on the official anniversary date: Sunday, March 10, 2019!  The event will be held at legends Plaza where guests will stroll through the columns of Disney Legends honorees from the Walt Disney Company.

D23 Members will have the opportunity to meet Disney luminaries and honored guests who have been a part of D23’s 10 magical years. Guests will enjoy food and beverage selections that Walt would have enjoyed himself—including his world famous chili! Enjoy moments with some famous Disney characters, snap a photo at one of our fun photo spots celebrating the best of D23, soak in the sounds of the evening’s entertainment, and share some of your favorite D23 memories with fellow Disney fans!

Walt Disney Archives will display items from inside the Disney vaults and you’ll also have the opportunity to see window exhibits celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. Love takes the stage on February 7th, 2019. Sweethearts’ Nite in Disneyland theme park allows couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early. This separately ticketed event runs 9 PM – 1 AM, but guests are able to enter the park as early as 6 PM.

  • Shorter wait times for attractions allows guests to see and do more!
  • Reenact favorite romantic scenes from Disney classic films such as Tangled, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid at photo ops created for the event.
