Disney parks are an incredible sight to behold at anytime of the day. However, the popping details are really highlighted at night when lights and sounds galore add a new feel for guests to experience. Keeping that in mind…Disneyland Resort recently released that they will host a Disneyland After Dark event on two nights early in 2019. February 7th and March 7th!
For two nights, the park will host a single exclusive event for guests that includes special food, merchandise, and more. The Sweethearts’ Nite and 90s Nite events will open at 6 p.m. after park closing. Guests to both events will be treated to attractions that will remain open exclusively for them! Sounds like a blast, right? Keep reading for more particulars about each event:
Sweethearts’ Nite – Feb 7
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Disneyland Resort will transform into a romantic getaway to celebrate “love!” Bring your significant other, and enjoy a fun evening of love-song themed dance parties, cute Disney character couples, exclusive photo opportunities which will replicate some of your favorite Disney love scenes, romantic decor, special food and drink, and unlimited Disney Photopass digital downloads! Cupid will be busy making every detail of the park as romantic as possible so that you and your loved one will have a romantic, exciting, and magical evening.
90s Nite – Mar 7
If you’re like me, you consider the 90s to be the “golden age” of Disney films. So…much…nostalgia! Well on March 7th, visit Disneyland Resort and make sure to pack your butterfly clips! That’s right, the second After Dark event is a 90s-themed celebration! Guests are invited to rock their favorite 90s inspired attire while reliving some of their favorite 90s Disney moments. Throwback music will accompany a special fireworks show, guests will receive a commemorative fanny pack and unlimited Disney Photopass downloads, and 90s themed merchandise, food, and drink will be available! This sounds like too much fun!
Get those fingertips ready as tickets go on sale next week: November 27 to Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders and November 28 for general public. It’s sure to be an extravagant and fun-filled two “nite” celebration. I may go just to get the fanny pack! Visit Disneyland.com to purchase tickets and view pricing details. Parking, of course, will not be included in ticket prices. It’s worth noting as well that tickets are limited in availability, so set those plans with your childhood friend or loved one to visit Disneyland Resort for their After Dark event!
