March 23^rd– Wine & Cheese Experience
For only $45 per person, you can experiment to find the perfect wine and cheese pairings.

March 28^th– Food-On-A-Stick Rooftop Party
The menu line-up includes heavy hitters like lobster corn dogs, chicken satay, lamb shish kabob, shrimp and scallop spiedino and more! $80 per person.

Paddlefish – Ongoing
Rooftop Late Night! – The rooftop deck is open for guests to enjoy creative cocktails and craft beers. Live entertainment plays every Friday and Saturday.

March 29, 2019 can not get here soon enough!! While we wait, a new live-action “Dumbo” featurette will hold us over!

In case you have missed all the hype, let’s review the new Live-action remake. From Director Tim Burton, the live-action “Dumbo” expands on the classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished, and dreams take flight.

Circus owner Max Medici, played by Danny DeVito, enlists his former star Holt Farrier, played by Colin Farrell, and his two children-Milly, played by Nico Parker, and Joe, played by Finley Hobbins- to care for a newborn elephant with oversized ears. Unfortunately, those ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus, until they discover Dumbo can fly! This attracts a persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere, played by Michael Keaton, who recruits Dumbo for his larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. However, they quickly discover Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Saints Quarterback Drew Brees Spotted at Disneyland Park with Family.

New Orleans Saints Fans are wishing they were at Disneyland Parks today! Saints Quarterback Drew Brees was spotted with his family enjoying their youngest child’s first time at Disneyland Resort.

Saints Quarterback Drew Brees was accompanied by his wife, Brittany Brees, along with their children, Baylen (10), Callen (7), Bowen (9) and Rylen (5). The family enjoyed themselves at they posed with Mickey and Minnie as they sported their outfits for the ‘Get Your Ears On- A Mickey and Minnie Celebration’ currently taking place.

Currently the Saints Quarterback, Drew Brees is a native of Austin, TX before attending Purdue University. While attending Purdue University, Brees earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial management from the prestigious Krannert School of Management while lettering in football. Brees played for five years with the San Diego Chargers and eight years with the New Orleans Saints. Saints Quarterback Drew Brees has been elected to nine Pro Bowls while named 2004 comeback player of the year, 2006 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year. Brees went on to become NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2008 and 2011, and Super Bowl XLIV Champion and MVP.

In addition, Saints Quarterback Drew Brees takes pride in community service endeavors and has established the Brees Dream Foundation in 2003 contributing $25,000,000 to help improve the quality of life for cancer patients and provide care, education and opportunities for children and families in need.

Brie Larson Helps Out Fans at Captain Marvel Screening

Captain Marvel hit screens with a bang this past weekend making an impressive $450 million worldwide. Reception for the film from both fans and critics has rocketed the movie to the third highest March debut of all time in America, as well as the seventh biggest debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. To celebrate the film’s arrival in theaters, Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson surprised some fans at a screening and even handed out popcorn.

Theatergoers in Clifton New Jersey were excited to meet Larson as she appeared unannounced at a screening for her new Marvel film. The star took some time to jump behind the counter and help theater employees hand out concessions and pose for a few pictures. She then joined her fans in the theater to watch the newest chapter in the MCU with the fans.

Captain Marvel follows the story of Air Force pilot and superhero Carol Danvers who searches for clues to her past while trying to protect Earth from warring alien factions. The film stars Larson as well as Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law and Annette Bening and is currently in theaters nationwide.

Yesterday, D23 celebrated its 10^th anniversary with a big bash, D23’s 10-Year FAN-niversary Celebration at the Walt Disney Studios.

Hundreds of guests attended and enjoyed mingling with Disney Legends and luminaries; posing with beloved characters and items from the Walt Disney Archives (including Herbie and the Electric Mayhem’s van); and dining on some of Walt’s favorites (including his famous chili).

Magic Kingdom Cast Members Invited to be Part of TRON Construction

Construction in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom is full steam ahead and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. The TRON attraction is making great progress. Beginning tomorrow, Cast Members are invited to be part of the construction of the coaster and become part of the park’s history.

Between March 12th-14^th, all Magic Kingdom Cast Members can sign one of the steel supports. The support will be going into its final resting place in the next few months.

The TRON attraction is set to open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50^th anniversary in 2021. TRON, located at Disneyland in Shanghai, opened in 2016. It’s one of the most thrilling and popular attractions at any of the Disney parks. Tron is a coaster style attraction where riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles. Once onboard guests will race through the digital frontier.

To make room for TRON, which will be located between Space Mountain and The Tomorrowland Speedway meant closing some attractions around the construction site. The first attraction closed is The Tomorrowland Speedway because part of the track is being rerouted. It will reopen at a later date.

The second attraction currently closed is The Walt Disney World Railroad, which closed in December 2018. Guests hoping for an up-close look at the train can find it parked at the Main Street Station. There is no word from Disney yet as to when the train will begin running, but for now, take advantage of the train and some great photo opportunities.

Once the indoor coaster is complete, it’s going to be amazing. For now, we will continue to update you with progress in Tomorrowland. Lastly, congratulations to all Magic Kingdom cast members invited to be part of TRON Construction and Disney history. Former Wonders Of Life Pavilion Construction Update

The Wonders of Life pavilion is currently undergoing a major transformation in Epcot’s Future World. The Wonders of Life Pavilion has been closed for some time, being utilized most recently as a festival center during the various Epcot festivals during the year.

In February, it was announced that the old Wonders of Life pavilion is going to be given new life as the yet to be officially named play pavilion, a one of a kind interactive play space. The new play space will be devoted to fun and feature an innovative city that’ll come to life under the dome, featuring interactive experiences, favorite Disney characters, engaging entertainment, and hands-on activities.

The Wonders of Life pavilion is now completely closed off to guests and cast members alike. This area is beginning interior renovations, so cast members are no longer allowed to use this pavilion as a cut through.

One can also see the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride taking shape nearby in the old Ellen’s Energy Adventure Building.

It is an exciting time for the Future World section of Epcot! Both of these highly anticipated new additions are expected to open in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.

New Menu Recently Debuted at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

A new menu recently debuted at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. The Indiana Jones 1940’s themed bar located at The Landing at Disney Springs created some amazing new and unique creations.

Look at some the new appetizers that are available now:

Tanis Tuna ($15): A sliced Za’atar-spiced tuna loin served with hummus and topped with a tomato, chickpea, and celery salad.

Lomo Saltado Peruvian Flank Steak ($14): A mouthwatering thinly sliced grilled flank steak topped with piquillo peppers, pickled onions. The steak is served on top of crispy french fries with a tamari-lime dressing and yellow pepper aioli served on the side.

Chen’s BBQ Pork Skewer ($13): Tasty grilled pork belly skewers accented with gojuchang pepper sauce, pickled vegetables, and cilantro served with delicate bibb lettuce cups.

Lao Che’s Peppers ($9): A bowl full of shishito peppers along with a sesame dipping sauce.

Shishak Seared Cheese: Served warm, this dish is tasty! A Mediterranean tomato, cucumber, and pita chips salad is served with Halloumi cheese on top.

The Hangar Bar offers an extensive libations menu, which compliments the appetizers pictured above perfectly.

The Hangar Bar is an option if you are using a dining plan. Don’t forget that the Disney Dining Plan now includes alcohol, so it’s the perfect way to try some of the tasty drinks on the menu. Not only is the theming spot on and fun, but it makes for a great spot to hang out at after a day in the parks.

Each year, the International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot sets up an interactive playground for kiddos to burn off steam. This year’s theme is Toy Story 4, and the playground is super cute. Take a walk around with us!

In keeping with the theme of the Flower and Garden Festival, beautiful flowers abound!

What’s that in the tree? A monkey!

Plenty of rocking toys.

How sweet is this playground? I know your kiddos will love it. The International Flower and Garden Festival is a fun event to experience at Epcot. The Festival is going on now through June 3rd. Disney Making Provisions For Disability Access To Galaxy’s Edge

Excitement is building for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World later this year. During the shareholder meeting last Thursday, Bob Iger announced that they would be making provisions for people with disabilities to gain special access to the lands.

The Disney CEO stated:

“We’re making provisions for very, very special access to both of those lands for people with disabilities because we know that they’re going to be incredibly popular when they open, and thus, fairly busy. We want to make sure they’re accessible to some of our most important guests, like children that are in the Make-A-Wish program.”

We don’t know yet what the special access will entail, but it’s no surprise that Disney is at the forefront of making their new offerings accessible to as many guests as they can.

Disney’s Disability Access Service

Currently, Disney has the Disability Access Service Card program (DAS) in place at both parks. Guests who fall under the guidelines can receive the DAS card at Guest Services in any park. Guests with disabilities use the card to receive a return time to attractions based on current wait times. This is designed to help those who cannot wait in a conventional queue due to a disability, be it physical, or non-apparent. Those who use a wheelchair or a scooter do not require a DAS card and can wait in a regular queue, or a designated alternate entrance.

Make-a-Wish trips and children with life-threatening illnesses will still be accommodated on a personalized case-by-case basis through their trip organizer.
