Frozen 2 is releasing this weekend and this cute Frozen 2 sipper is out just in time! There’s also fun light-up character clips you can get with it.
This fantastic sipper, featuring Elsa, can be found at The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs. It can be purchased for $6.50 and the fun clips can be purchased for $8 plus the price of a drink.

The 70th anniversary of the release of the Walt Disney animated classic “Cinderella” is coming up soon! To celebrate, Disney Early Morning Magic at Magic Kingdom Park will receive a royal treatment perfect for princesses and princes of all ages.
For eight magical event dates Feb. 11, 2020, through March 3, 2020, guests who reserve Disney Early Morning Magic will enjoy early access to Prince Charming Regal Carousel in addition to other favorite attractions throughout Fantasyland. Other attractions available during the event are Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight, Princess Fairytale Hall, “it’s a small world,” Mad Tea Party and Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. As an extra special treat, guests may see some of their favorite characters from “Cinderella,” such as Suzy, Perla, Fairy Godmother, Drizella and Anastasia, and Prince Charming popping in to celebrate this special occasion.
Special themed food and beverage offerings will be added to the all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe that’s included with Disney Early Morning Magic. Breakfast is available from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Disney Early Morning Magic requires a separate reservation – $89 for adults and $79 for children (standard theme park admission is required). Admission will be limited, so be sure to book your reservation as soon as possible!

Ready for a really COOL surprise?
With the release of Frozen 2 just around the corner, Epcot is getting ready with some new experiences starting on November 22.
As we know our favorite sister duo got a little makeover changing those puffy dresses for outfits more suitable to travel through woods and water during their newest adventure!
Want to see the new looks in person? Then head over to Royal Sommerhus in the Norway pavilion at Epcot to visit Anna and Elsa because they will be debuting their new attire from Frozen 2 this Friday.
Anna’s costume features a travel dress with a classic fairy tale silhouette, a black bell shaped skirt and brown pants with little details like decorative embroidery and tiny official symbols of Arendelle on the bottoms as well as miniature stalks of wheat along the hem.
Keeping the signature colors of Anna in mind, her cloak is now a rich purple wool travel cloak clasped at the collar with a gold chain of interlocking wheat.
As for Elsa’s travel dress, she is wearing a pale blue dress with snowflakes and layers of sequins so it creates a gradient up her body and a flowing cape split in two in the back, and of course pants underneath too! She now also wears boots! Ice boots with shimmering snowflake patterns from top to toe.
They sound great right? Well now kids will have the opportunity to get the brand new costumes and look just like Anna and Elsa at The Fjording Shop in Epcot!

Disney Removes ‘Bob’s Burgers: The Movie‘ From Release Schedule. Over the weekend Disney released an updated theatrical release schedule for Disney, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, SkyBlue, and Fox. Soon after the schedule release Disney released this statement:
“A feature adaptation of the Fox tv series Bob’s Burgers has been taken off the studio’s release schedule. Disney had previously set its release for July 17, 2020.”
Rightfully so, this instantly confused and panicked fans who have been waiting for years to see a featured length film hit the big screens. Bob’s Burgers has been a smash among fans, some would say the show even has garnished a cult following. Bob’s Burgers is far from the first film cancelled or removed by Disney in the Disney-Fox Merger.
The good news for “Belchies”came from Bob’s Burgers Creator and show runner, Loren Bouchard, who eased fans worries in two words. “Fear not.”

Though this is far from a confirmation that Bob’s Burgers: The Movie will return, it does seem to indicate that Bouchard is looking to make the project happen for fans of the long running series.
“We’re thrilled to be invited to bring Bob’s Burgers to the big screen,” Bouchard said when the movie was first announced. “We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show. We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever so slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s – but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?!”

Marvel’s ‘Runaways‘ on Hulu Will End After Season 3. Since the promotion of Kevin Fiege to Chief Creative Officer at Marvel Studios, almost every project not linked to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been cancelled or will not return after the next season is released.
Particularly any projects headed by Marvel Executive, Jeph Loeb, seem to be the focus of cancellations as Marvel Studios moves in a new direction, with the focus turning to the MCU. Loeb is expected to step down from his role at Marvel by the end of the month as Feige takes the reins.
Other series headed by Loeb that have hit the chopping block this year are Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC and Cloak & Dagger on Freeform. Olivia Holt (Dagger) and Aubrey Joseph (Cloak) are set to appear in season 3 of Marvel’s Runaways, but did not get approval for a third season of their own. Fans thought this would mean the shows would simply merge and move forward, but it seems for now Marvel is ending both series together in Runaways season 3.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premiere it’s 7th and final season on ABC as planned, but it is currently unknown if any of these series will make their way to Disney+, similarly to new Marvel titles such as Loki, WandaVision, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and more that will be exclusive to the streaming service.
Other shows such as Helstrom and Howard the Duck will still premiere exclusively on Hulu, as well as several other Marvel animated projects currently in the works for Hulu.
The third and final season of Marvel’s Runaways will premiere December 13, 2019 on Hulu.

There is so much Disney excitement currently, with the recent addition of Disney+ to the entertainment world, and the soon release of Frozen II , it’s easy to forget how quickly everything else is coming up. This brings us to the most exciting news, The Rise of Skywalker is only a month away from being released. And now we get a couple of sneak peeks at some scenes from the movie!

Disney recently updated Gaston with a new costume in the Disney theme parks.
The popular “Beauty and the Beast” villain now sports a darker red shirt, which looks more like his shirt design from the animated film. Gaston wears different boots and darker pants as well. Another noticeable difference is how Gaston wears less muscle padding. His new look seems less cartoonish than his previous outfit.
Seeing Gaston in person gave a better perspective for guests to judge the new look. Gaston looks more believable with the costume redesign, which is good since most face characters look natural in their attire. Personally, I prefer the new look since it looks more practical on a face character.
Gaston meets daily at his character spot in Fantasyland. He hangs at the wall outside of “Bonjour! Village Gifts”, which is just outside of his tavern (Gaston’s Tavern).

Disney+ Release of Disney Classics With “Outdated Content” Warning Sparks Debate Online. Earlier this week, we shared that Disney has added a disclaimer in the detailed description of several Disney Classic films stating: “This program is presented as originally created. It may contain outdated cultural depictions.” some other titles include warnings saying, “Contains tobacco depictions.”
Such titles include films like Lady and the Tramp, AristoCats, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and more. Though Disney seems to acknowledge these issues by adding the disclaimer, many fans online are sharing their outrage over these depictions featured in the classics. An individual garnishing much of the attention in this debate is Lauren Robertson. Lauren in a currently studying language at Aberdeen University and wrote an article through The Tab, which is causing massive uproar online. It also should be noted, Lauren does seem to both be drawing attention to the “issues” she has spotted, but also lines the problematic story elements with some light humor in the full article to ease tension. After all, these stories were not created with todays audiences in mind and they had no way of knowing how society would evolve.
Here are some of her thoughts on these Disney Classics:
The Jungle Book (1967)
Robertson started with her opinion on King Louie from the original The Jungle Book.
“We’re not talking the remake with the epic CGI and relatively unproblematic storyline, well minus the idea of a boy being brought up by wolves in the jungle.
Remember King Louie the orangutan in the original Jungle Book? Yeah you probably didn’t realise when you watched it age five with all your animal teddies lined up in front of the TV, but there is a hell of a lot of criticism about him being a racist caricature.
He and the other monkeys are shown to be foolish and criminal, and they literally sing about wanting to be able to make the white man’s fire.”
Dumbo (1941)
“The whole of the end scene of Dumbo literally relies on the crows as racist stereotypes.
The lead crow ‘Jim Crow’ was a term used to mock black men, so you don’t have to look far to find where this movie goes INCREDIBLY wrong.
In amongst its clasic bops, Disney has many songs with pretty problematic lyrics. In Dumbo’s ‘Song of the Roustabouts’, faceless dark-skinned characters sing “When other folks have gone to bed / We slave until we’re almost dead.”
Dumbo also gets drunk off his chops but that’s a good time in comparison.”
Lady and the Tramp (1955)
“Don’t be fooled by fond memories of two cute pups eating spaghetti, which is actually problematic in itself. Repressed somewhere in your innocent little head you’ll also find the film’s Siamese cats.
Lady and the Tramp’s ‘Siamese Cat Song’ is so blatantly racist that it has apparently been cut out of the film entirely in the remake.
Rewatching this was actually painful and completely cringeworthy. Not only do the cats both look and sound identical, their characters are sneaky and quite frankly annoying.”
Peter Pan (1953)
“You know exactly what I am going to highlight from this film.
Peter Pan pretty much whisks John, Michael and Wendy away to join his little gang of racist lost boys.
The Native American characters in the film are known as ‘red men’ and there’s even a song called “What Made The Red Man Red.”
The kids then excitedly pop on their head-dresses and smear some paint across their faces and say ‘how’ many times. Ideal little history lesson there for kids.”
Aladdin (1992)
“Here’s another film that Disney have remade in order to cover up the blatantly problematic original.
Right smack bang in the middle of the opening song, Agrabah (Arab-land) is described to be “barbaric, but hey, it’s home.” Aladdin is a white fantasy with mispronounced Arabic words and has nonsense scribbles as writing. They also have American accents??
I totally thought Jasmine was badass when I was a kid but in reality she just bats her eyelids, gets stuck in a big sand-timer (terrifying) and cries into her tiger’s fur.”
Lauren does make some good points about these depictions, others seem a bit extreme, but none-the-less important to be aware of. As a film major myself, I can say that if we rework stories to “cover up” any past wrongdoings by taking those scenes completely out of a film and “patching them back up” without those moments is not what film has ever been about. You can’t hide the ugly side of the past without forgetting the lessons it has taught us. Acting like it never happened only leaves room to fall back into those habits and behaviors. It excuses them.
You have to be able to learn from past mistakes, and it seems Disney is doing its best to move forward by reworking some of those titles to be more in-line with what the company stands for in this day and age by making them into live-action films with new content in place of those “darker” moments. Which kudos to them for doing so. You have to admit, if they were to just redo the animation no one would go to see them anyway so what would be the point?
Also, I have yet to learn of a time machine that worked, so what ELSE is Disney supposed to do? All that would do is spark outrage that Disney was “hiding” their past mistakes. Causing its own debate. At this point, I will digress, as this is merely my observation of how and why Disney is looking to still make their classic stories lovable and relatable as they were during their original release, but to a new and idealist audience. Robertson did say, “It’s a good shout from Disney to acknowledge that many of the films would not be so well received if they were released today, that is if they were allowed to be released at all, they’re that dodgy.”
That being said, Disney has allotted to omit some titles deemed too inappropriate for Disney+ such as the film that inspired the creation of the attraction Splash Mountain, Song of the South. Even Disney seems to be keeping that film under lock and key for the unforeseeable future. Another note: Just because a movie or show is not on Disney+ does not automatically mean there is something inherently wrong with it. There are many other reasons it may not be available.

Do you ever dream of sipping your favorite beverages out of the heads of Star Wars characters? Maybe you haven’t before, but you will now! Disneyland Resort has just released a limited-supply Jango Fett Sipper!
The Sipper is in the likeness of Jango Fett’s iconic silver and blue helmet, made famous in the Star Wars prequels. It does not come with a straw, but it does have a scope coming out of the top. Just like the real thing!
Jango Fett is a popular character from the Star Wars franchise, a bounty hunter and renegade during the times of the Republic. He appears in Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones, as well as The Clone Wars series. Fett is the genetic template for the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, as well as the sole parent of his clone son, Boba Fett.

Sippers have proliferated across both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California in recent years. They’ve come in the form of everything from jingle bells to Dumbo the elephant, from Sven the reindeer to Mickey Mouse in a party hat. Though this Star Wars Sipper is a deviation from the recent releases, having nothing to do with Christmas celebrations at the parks.
So far the Jango Fett Sipper is only available at Disneyland, but hopefully, its popularity will push it over to the other coast. It’s currently in Tomorrowland, so if you’re in Anaheim, you may want to hunt it down and take it home!

‘Continue Watching’ Feature In Development For Disney+. According to Comicbook.com, Disney is working on one of the chief complaints for their new streaming service, Disney+. An obviously missing ‘Continue Watching’ feature or category.
Currently, Disney+ will save your spot when you exit a title, but you have to search for those titles currently to begin streaming them again. Another reason subscribers are complaining is that while watching a series, not everyone remembers which episode they finished watching last and if you click on the series after you had stopped watching it, the series will start at the beginning of the series with episode 1 of season 1.
Disney has said they are working to add the feature soon, but as CB points out, Disney has been dealing with more pressing matters. Nearly the moment Disney+ launched, hackers began quickly distributing false emails to subscribers claiming their were issues with their accounts and provided fake links to steal usernames, passwords, and billing information. Causing thousands of accounts to become compromised and locking users out of their subscriptions. The subscriptions were then posted to hacker forums for sale at varying rates. Disney has also been focused on fixing any bugs and streaming issues for subscribers and wants everything to run smoothly before introducing any new features.
No date has currently been shared for when to expect the ‘Continue Watching’ feature, but likely we will see it added to a major update either before the end of the year or in early 2020.
Another chief complaint amongst subscribers is the varying reasons for missing movies and shows. Some films and series are simply still under contract with other services, such as Netflix, and can not be shown on Disney+ until the agreements in the contracts are met.
