Guests voyaging on Disney Cruise Line can now commemorate their trip with a new style collection. The Disney Cruise Line Nautical Navy Collection features fashionable items from Loungefly, new ears, a Spirit Jersey, and tumbler! My favorite part of the Nautical Navy assortment is that it is also accented with rose gold!
Set sail with the navy Spirit Jersey, that features the Disney Cruise Line logo. Furthermore the rose gold, and light blue puffed ink make the logos pop with sparkle!

The Loungefly collection actually features four pieces, a mini backpack, a wallet, a belt bag, and a lanyard ID holder. When I set sail last month the lanyard was not yet available, but it is super adorable! The collection is showered in navy micro sequins, and topped with a nautical striped bow that has a rose gold anchor. To complete the look the Loungefly pieces also have rose gold hardware.
The mini backpack was my favorite piece, and honestly a must have if you’re a backpack collector. This is also the first time we’ve seen a full sequin collection from Loungefly on the cruise ships as well. It is just like the color trend Disney Parks exclusives bags we all know and love!
The wallet and belt bag also coordinate beautifully with the mini backpack, and ID holder.
There are two pairs of ears that coordinate beautifully with this collection. One pair coordinates fabulously with the Loungefly items, and has the same shimmery navy sequins. This pair is also topped with a nautical striped bow, and a rose gold anchor!

The other pair features rose gold sequins, and a navy bow that has a rose gold anchor print. I feel this one coordinates perfectly with the new Spirit Jersey. This pair launched on the Disney Cruise Line earlier this year.

The Disney Cruise Line shops are constantly updating their souvenir assortments with gorgeous nautical inspired collections. The new Floral DCL Merchandise Collection also took me by surprise with it’s breezy pastels. My favorite highlight of the collection is the sand dollars!
This beautiful new collection has a very graceful look to it, and features an adorable Sailor Minnie, with flowers, and sand dollars. There are several staple pieces available in this collection, from Loungefly bags, to ears, to Tervis tumblers.
Loungefly
It seems like here has been quite a selection of exclusive Loungefly bags for the Disney Cruises this year. This vegan leather bag has a fabulous Minnie Mouse vintage floral print, while navy blue accents the straps and zippers. A watercolor art style also gives it a dainty look.
Minnie Ears
Of course Minnie Ears are also a staple part of themed collection. I really thought the navy sequined ears from September were my favorite ever, until I saw these. These beautiful Minnie ears are SAND DOLLARS! The sand dollar ears have embroidered accents, and are embellished with a charming array of silk florals. It is also worth noting that the ear prices on the cruise are still showing $27.99.
The embroidered details even extend to the velvety headband, with “Disney Cruise Line” stitched into the navy fabric.
Dress Up
Naturally these gorgeous accessories compliment the new dress wonderfully. This dress actually resembles the one Minnie is wearing in all of the artwork for this collection!
Accessorize
A collection wouldn’t be complete without a new Alex and Ani! This gorgeous bangle captures the vintage rockabilly Minnie Mouse with a sassy smile, and ship wheel.
The style of this collection is also represented with these beautiful pins! Of course my personal favorite is the Sand Dollar DCL logo.

Both sides of the village have an immense amount of Christmas magic! The first side encompasses the classic scenes that bring back childhood memories of train sets under our Christmas trees. You can see plenty of snow covered Evergreens, houses decorated for the season, and people playing in the snow.
As you continue around the village, you can see that the other side is just as magical, but with a Disney twist. Anna and ElsaElsa are enjoying the snow covered mountains and there is even a sign for the Beaches and Cream ice cream shop.
The Christmas Village has everything in our wildest Disney Christmas dreams!
And of course, we can’t forget about the beautifully decorated nautical Christmas tree in the resort lobby! Merry Christmas friends, and happy resort hopping!
Just when I think I have enough Spirit Jerseys, another one comes along to steal my heart. The new Tiana Spirit Jersey celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Princess and the Frog, has definitely captured my love too. It is not only a fabulous new style, but the color is perfection.
This jersey shines bright with stunning graphics of Tiana and Ray, plus lots of glittery gold accents. Tiana looks stunning, with graphics that look almost hand painted, and swashes of gold sparkles. Ray soars above the gold glitter words that read “Shine Bright”, while gazing at Evangeline. I absolutely love that they made a larger star in the collection of sparkles to represent Evangeline too!
The front of the jersey has Tiana’s iconic tiara outlined in gold glitter! They have also done an incredible job of capturing the color of her royal dress. There are even gold sparkles woven into the material, for an extra dash of shine. I can imagine this would also be very cute for a casual Tiana inspired DisneyBound too!

Up, up, and away to Disney’s Beach Club Resort we go! For the 20th year in a row, Beach Club showcases their specially themed gingerbread carousel in the resort’s lobby. This year’s theme is Peter Pan- made specially with faith, trust, and pixie dust!
However, pixie dust isn’t the only thing that goes into the making of this sweet ride! Ranging from 100 pounds of honey to 100 pounds of icing, a lot of sugar goes into this gingerbread carousel.
Four Peter Pan character themed horses are on display on the carousel, each depicting either Tinkerbell, Smee, Wendy, or Peter Pan. As you can see in the very first photo, Captain Hook is also depicted, though off to the side of the carousel. He even has a hook instead of his left hoof!
The classic scene of Peter Pan and the Darlings flying over the city tops off the gingerbread carousel perfectly!
Each part of the carousel has such attention to detail- from each of the pictured Lost Boys on the horse depicting Peter Pan to Wendy‘s perfectly styled ringlets and blue bow on her themed horse.
Of course, Disney’s Beach Club Resort has to leave guests with a sweet goodbye, written completely with the help of your favorite holiday sweets, and urging visitors to check out the Christmas Village at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
This holiday season, get your glow on in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort! Here, the holidays meet eclectic light in a whole new immersive experience. ‘Let it Glow’ is an all-new display of bold and brightly colored trees and will arrive in the promenade beginning Nov. 22nd.
The Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort will be all aglow for the season with an all-new visual experience, “Let it Glow,” bringing eclectic light and new colors to the holidays. A must-do experience, this vibrant showcase features 200 UV glow trees along the promenade and a distinctive new seasonal look for both day and night.
The solid-colored trees in fluorescent shades of blue, green, yellow, orange and pink vary in size, with the tallest measuring approximately 15 feet, and the smallest at four feet. Unlike traditional Christmas trees, there’s not a single ornament, as their brightness makes them brilliant. More than 70 glow rings adorn the ficus trees throughout the Downtown Disney District, adding to the neon elements at night.
More than 10,000 individual plants and 30 topiaries will live around the trees to further enhance the planters, complemented by 24 hanging baskets filled with poinsettias, cyclamen, and dusty miller. “Let it Glow” begins Nov. 22, 2019, and will be on display through Jan 5, 2020.

Amongst the holiday treats and sugary fare at the Main Street Confectionery at the Magic Kingdom, a fantastic development has occurred to one of our favorite year-round snacks. The Mickey Rice Krispie Treats have grown and they’re very very big. How big are these Rice Krispie Treats, you ask? One of them could easily replace your head in a photograph, that’s how big.
Compared to a regular-sized ”Crisped Rice Cereal” treat to be found in the goodie case, this boxed snack is referred to as a ”cake” and is meant to be shared. Take it home as a gift, share it at a holiday party, rip off an ear for each child as you walk around the park, or simply dedicate yourself to eating a bit every day until it’s gone, but this dessert is a keeper.
Walt Disney World rotates the style of Krispie Treats served at different times of the year, with Halloween pumpkins, rainbows, and of course the classic Mickey shorts, all available on a crisped rice cereal canvas, shaped like Mickey’s head. The Official Star Wars Timeline Has Been Revealed. With so many new and exciting Star Wars Stories being released, it can get confusing to know just when a certain story is taking place. This confusion has led to lots of debate online, particularly this week with the release of The Mandalorian on Disney+. One thing is for certain, all these stories take place “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…”
Here at Chip and Co. we have some die hard Star Wars fans, myself included, and wanted to clear up any disturbances in the force. Check out the official Star Wars Timeline according to Disney and Lucasfilm:
1.) Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace
“Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) is a young apprentice Jedi knight under the tutelage of Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) ; Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), who will later father Luke Skywalker and become known as Darth Vader, is just a 9-year-old boy. When the Trade Federation cuts off all routes to the planet Naboo, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are assigned to settle the matter.”
2.) Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones

During the 2019 D23 Expo it was revealed that Ewan McGregor would be reprising his role as ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ for a currently untitled Star Wars Disney+ series focused on his character. No other details are currently known.

The rides, attractions, and stories inside Galaxy’s Edge are themed to take place in between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
“Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a themed area inspired by the Star Wars franchise, located within Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The area encompasses 14 acres at each park.”

A new poster has been released for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
To honor Mickey Mouse’s 91st birthday, Disney released a new ride poster! The upcoming attraction is set to open this spring at Hollywood Studios.
Guests will get to step through the movie screen and right into Mickey’s world with Minnie and the gang. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will feauture a world where only “mouse rules apply”.
You will be the star in Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts! The Chinese Theater in Hollywood Studios will act as a “portal” from the human world to the wack cartoon worls wherer anything can happen.
The newest ride poster gives a glimpse into the crazy world you will get to experience on the attraction. The underwater scene shows Mickey and Minnie swimming around a train full of guests in the deep blue sea. It also looks like a crab stole Pluto’s picnic basket!
Disney has hinted that more updates regarding Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be released in the next few weeks. The ride opens in Hollywood Studios in Spring 2020 and in Disneyland Park in 2022.
Disney Grants ‘Frozen II’ Wish For Gravely Ill 5-Year-Old Girl. The Clark Family has had to endure every parents worse nightmare, a cancer diagnoses in their young child. Ellery was a fun loving kid, until an unexpended illness left her fighting for her life in McMaster Children’s Hospital in Ontario. She is a big sister to her twin little sisters, and like most girls her age, has always loved Disney’s Frozen. Due to a turn in her health, her parents feared she would never get to experience her wish to see Frozen II before it was too late.
Ellery’s story has been shared in a GoFundMe account set up to cover expenses for the family during this trying time.
“In early May 2019, 5 year old Ellery Clark woke up one morning with two large lumps in her neck. Immediately concerned, her parents, Ian and Ariane took her to McMaster Children’s hospital in Hamilton, Ontario to get checked out. The doctors were initially flummoxed, but a series of tests and subsequent hospital visits over the next few weeks eventually landed Ellery with a diagnosis that is every parent’s worst nightmare: Cancer.
Ellery is fighting an extremely rare form of aggressive cancer in her head and neck called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma: as few as 12 people in Canada are diagnosed annually. She will undergo 6-9 months of treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation.”
Ellery’s story went viral in just a few hours after her father pleaded to find a way to let his daughter see the film, and even reached Frozen II star, Josh Gad (Olaf) who posted a link to the story with the caption, “Hey [Disney] can we make this happen?”
Ellery’s story was also featured on CHCH Evening News. CHCH shared that not only did Disney hear Ellery’s heartbreaking story, but managed to arrange a special private screening of Frozen II for Ellery and her family at the hospital.
Ian Clark, Ellery’s father shared her experience with the film, “She was… focused on it the entire time. I said, You could just see the twinkle in her eye.”

Unfortunately, Ellery is suffering from complications from her treatments including a blood infections according to her father, and doctors are not sure if she will pull through, though Ellery has done so twice in the past. We are hoping for a miraculous recovery for her and peace for her family and the rest of “Ellery’s Army” during this time.

Email Scam Leads to Selling of Disney+ Subscriptions Online. We previously reported that Disney+ subscribers have recently become targeted in a new email scam, urging subscribers to change their password or confirm their payment information in conniving emails, designed to look like they were sent by the Disney+ team.
I myself received one of these emails, and elected to ignore it and check the status of my account through the Disney+ app. I was still getting uninterrupted service, and it’s clear the email was designed to scare subscribers into using the link provided in the email.
Hundreds of Disney+ Subscribers have fallen victim to this vicious email scam targeted at Disney+ users either asking them to change their password over “security concerns” or stating there is a problem with their credit card information and to input their billing and account information.
The emails look VERY convincing and seem to come from Disney+ but they are not. The false emails even try to say the account will be locked until the reported “issue” is fixed. If you do receive an email similar to the one below DO NOT click the link suggesting you change your password or fix your information. If you are truly concerned about your account be sure to report your issue via help.disneyplus.com, not through these emails.

The news was first shared by Cord Cutters News, and detailed how the information is being stolen.
Basically, once you input your information the hacker is able to gather your personal and/or account information and sell it illegally online. Causing unauthorized profiles appearing on your account or even being completely blocked from your own account after the email and password are changed by the unauthorized user.
According to a report from ZDNet, thousands of accounts have already become available and have been advertised on hacker forums for sale, ranging from $3-$11 per account.
Once again, if you DID respond to one of these emails or feel your account has been compromised, immediately change your password via DisneyPlus.com ONLY, or contact their customer service team via help.disneyplus.com
DO NOT respond to these suspicious emails. We hope none of you have had to deal with this issue, I noticed unusual emails started as early as Tuesday, so please stay vigilant and it may not be a bad idea to also change your email password while you are at it! Stay safe out their internet dwellers.
