Another unique dining experience is now open at Walt Disney World! It’s conveniently located between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So if you feel like taking a lunch or dinner break, it’s not far from either location!
This family-friendly microbrewery and restaurant serves award-winning beers and fresh twists on American pub favorites. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, pub style appetizers, and many other American style favorites. It’s also tucked away in a scenic location on Disney’s Boardwalk. It’s enjoyable to stroll around that area after a meal.
Big River Grille and Brewery Works is the only working brewery on site at Disney World. The brewmasters here create specialty beers, and you might occasionally catch them making new batches through large windows. It’s a great place to grab a bite or a drink!

Disney+ has launched ‘Star’ in select countries overseas with more adult branded content. Think of it like Hulu here in the US.

Disney+, the exclusive streaming home for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, adds even more content with the addition of the Star brand, which launched today in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Western Europe. In Singapore, Disney+ with Star launched today, becoming the first market to launch with the new general entertainment brand. Fully integrated into Disney+ in these markets, Star has its own dedicated brand tile featuring a robust collection of general entertainment movies, television, documentaries and more, along with Star-branded exclusive originals and local productions being created for the service.

Entertainment Destination for All Audiences
The Star brand serves as home to thousands of hours of movies and shows from Disney General Entertainment Content, including Disney Television Studios (ABC Signature and 20th Television), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures and more. From comedies to dramas and thrillers, Star offers a range of titles for everyone and every mood, including fan-favorite TV series like Grey’s Anatomy, 24, The X-Files, Lost and Family Guy, as well as FX’s innovative comedy and Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award winner Atlanta by Donald Glover; ABC’s Emmy® Award- and Golden Globe®-nominated comedy series black-ish, starring Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Yara Shahidi; Shonda Rhimes’ critically-acclaimed legal drama Scandal; and the feminist comedy Dollface, created by Jordan Weiss. The drama series Helstrom, executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski along with Karim Zreik and Jeph Loeb, will also be available at launch. Title accessibility will vary by region.
Additionally, as part of the company’s commitment to source, develop and produce regional productions, Star will bring an array of locally produced Originals in regions where available, with an ambitious slate already announced in Europe.
Robust Parental Controls
As part of today’s launch, Disney+ has added a new set of robust parental controls, including the ability to set limits on access to content for specific profiles based on content ratings and the ability to add a PIN to lock profiles with access to mature content.
Disney+ with Star will continue its global rollout in new markets later this year with Eastern Europe, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. And in Latin America, the general entertainment offering will launch as a separate streaming service, Star+.
Guests who had their cruise cancelled were previously offered the choice of either a future cruise credit equal to 25%, 125% or 150% of their original voyage fare to be used by March 31, 2022, or a full refund. The future cruise credit is now extended from sailings commencing prior to May 31, 2022 to sailings that depart by September 30, 2022.
SeaMail is being sent to guests letting them know about this extension. Take a look at a sample email being sent:

All of us at Disney Cruise Line hope you and your family are staying well. We are reaching out with important information about the cruise credit you were previously provided.
When your sailing was cancelled due to the pandemic, you were offered the choice of either a future cruise credit* equal to 125% of your original voyage fare or a full refund. We are now extending the use of your future cruise credit from sailings commencing prior to May 31, 2022 to sailings that depart by September 30, 2022.
Your credit has been automatically updated. If you have not done so already, your travel agent may place a reservation on hold by applying it as a payment option when booking a new reservation. Once your modified reservation is paid in full, any remaining future cruise credit will be applied to your shipboard account as a non-refundable onboard credit.
If you have any questions, please contact your travel agent. Sailings are currently available through spring 2022 with additional eligible sailings to be released at a later date.

Hamilton was already a hit on Broadway, but the Disney+ showing helped skyrocket it to fame with those who may have missed this incredible musical. Now fans can collect their favorite characters from the hit musical! Characters available in POP form include Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, George Washington, and of course the Schuyler Sisters, Angelica, Eliza… and Peggy! Work! I totally need all three Schuyler Sisters so I can stage my favorite scene.
There are also four mini POP keychains available. These will feature Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, George Washington, and also Angelica. There will also be an Alexander Hamilton variant. The variant will be available exclusively at Walmart.

Few animated films have a more unique and recognizable style than Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington is a Disney icon, not to mention the Pumpkin King! Doesn’t he deserve a place among LEGO projects? If you think so, now is the time to make it happen! This LEGO Idea already has over 1000 supporters and needs only 10,000 to have an expert review!
The set has four scenes from the film: the Graveyard, Halloween Town (which is both the front of the building and the stage on the other side), Christmas Eve (Santa’s Sleigh), and Oogie Boogie’s Lair. It also includes a number of the characters: Jack Skellington (Santa’s outfit included), Sally, Zero, Dr. Finkelstein, The Mayor (with both faces), Sandy Claws in a fabric bag, Oogie Boogie, Barrel, Lock, and Shock.
The details in each scene are incredible. Some have moving lights, moving doors, and fabric banners. Don’t overlook the Christmastown door located in the tree trunk! There really are a lot of unique features in this set.

You Could Own Johnny Depp’s $55.5 Million French Village. If you are sick of quarantine in your own home maybe it’s time to buy your own village in the French countryside! Actor and Disney Legend Johnny Depp is looking to sell his 19th-century Provençal village that he renovated and resided in for several years. Previously, Depp attempted to sell the village in 2015 and 2016 to no avail. Now, the quiet village roughly 27 kilometers from Saint-Tropez, seems to be getting prepped for sale.
The village features a: skate park, two pools, gym, private restaurant, art studio, and a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed wine cellar. The land also includes vineyards, olive trees, and 300 year-old oak trees.
The main house, guest house, and small businesses currently feature artwork created by Johnny Depp himself, but it is unknown if the property would be sold furnished or not.

Surprise! The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover refurbishment has been extended…AGAIN.
The attraction has been closed since the Magic Kingdom shut down due to the pandemic. When the parks reopened last summer, the PeopleMover remained closed. It has been on the refurbishment schedule ever since and continues to get its reopening date pushed back.
The most recent extension was through February and we were hopeful that the PeopleMover would finally be opening for guests. That is not the case, however.
The Disney World calendar now shows the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover closed for refurbishment through April 3, 2021.
The attraction will hopefully be opening on April 4. We will keep our fingers crossed!

George Lucas Joins Writing and Production Team for Disney+ ‘Star Wars’ Series. Star Wars fans were elated to hear and see George Lucas make an appearance on set for The Mandalorian, and now it seems George has been invited to come back into the fold of the Star Wars Universe! According to IMDb, George Lucas will be penning the script for 2-episodes of the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ original series, Andor.
The new Andor series “Follows the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor, which he originated in the 2016 film. The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.”
Currently, the series is slated to include 12-episodes, with at least 2-episodes written by Lucas. The Andor Star Wars series is expected to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in 2022, an official release date has yet to be announced by Lucasfilm. Hiro, Baymax and the rest of the “Big Hero 6” crew are not currently set to make their live-action debut within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Variety has confirmed with a source at the studio.
I for one was excited but it looks like the news is untrue…
Live-Action ‘Big Hero 6‘ Characters Could Be Coming to the MCU. For those who may not know, Disney’s 2014 hit animated film and 2-D animated series Big Hero 6 is based loosely on a Marvel owned comic of the same name.
Now, as the Marvel Universe is expanding, we may get to see Big Hero 6 in live-action! The DisInsider shared the scoop, but failed to mention who spilled the beans.
The report from The DisInsider reads, “We have exclusively learned that certain characters from Big Hero 6 will be making their live-action debut in the MCU. We’re not sure on who will be coming but we can at least expect Baymax and Hiro.
Some of the projects we heard about were Secret Invasion, Agents of Atlas, and Doctor Strange. However, we couldn’t get confirmation. There’s also no word on if the actors will reprise their roles in regards to live-action appereances.”
Marvel Studios has not confirmed this news, so be sure to take it with a grain of salt for now, but it is currently unknown if the characters from Big Hero 6 will be featured in a film or television series.

Four months ago Disney’s Animal Kingdom welcomed a new baby white rhino to the world! Today, this sweet boy, Ranger, made his debut at Kilimanjaro Safaris.
It looks like Disney’s Golden Oak is gaining a new resident family. Recently a member of the Bacardi Rum family, Hilda Maria Bacardi, spent $3.2 million to purchase a home in Golden Oak.
This gated community features access to the private clubhouse with superb food offerings, resort pool and fitness center. Residents have access to Club Life, the Member Services team, transportation, club events, theme park experiences, Extra Magic Hours, Four Seasons Resort and more. This is the only place in the world where you can own a piece of Disney Real Estate, truly a once in a lifetime opportunity!
The Golden Oak neighborhood, was inspired by Walt Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch in Newhall, California. The ranch was a filming location for segments of the Mickey Mouse Club in the 1950s and received its name when some say gold was discovered under an oak tree in the mid 1800s. After “tremendous interest,” Disney Imagineers worked together to design the 980-acre neighborhood. There are almost 300 hundreds on the site of Golden Oak.
