Update:

Hiro, Baymax and the rest of the “Big Hero 6” crew are not currently set to make their live-action debut within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Variety has confirmed with a source at the studio.

I for one was excited but it looks like the news is untrue…

Live-Action ‘Big Hero 6‘ Characters Could Be Coming to the MCU. For those who may not know, Disney’s 2014 hit animated film and 2-D animated series Big Hero 6 is based loosely on a Marvel owned comic of the same name.

Now, as the Marvel Universe is expanding, we may get to see Big Hero 6 in live-action! The DisInsider shared the scoop, but failed to mention who spilled the beans.

The report from The DisInsider reads, “We have exclusively learned that certain characters from Big Hero 6 will be making their live-action debut in the MCU. We’re not sure on who will be coming but we can at least expect Baymax and Hiro.

Some of the projects we heard about were Secret InvasionAgents of Atlas, and Doctor Strange. However, we couldn’t get confirmation. There’s also no word on if the actors will reprise their roles in regards to live-action appereances.”

Marvel Studios has not confirmed this news, so be sure to take it with a grain of salt for now, but it is currently unknown if the characters from Big Hero 6 will be featured in a film or television series.

Would you like to see the characters from Big Hero 6 join the MCU? Which characters do you hope make the leap from animation to live-action? What other heroes or villains would you like to see in the MCU? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
