Disney Plus Now Streaming to Over 54 Million Members

The Disney Plus streaming service keeps growing and reaching families and homes across the globe! Now, that viewers are still under safer at home orders, there has been a great amount of growth to the service. Disney Plus is definitely not slowing down any time soon, that’s for sure.

Disney Plus Now Streaming to Over 54 Million Members

The Walt Disney Company recently announced that their streaming service has now reached a whopping 54.5 million members! Disney Plus debuted just 6 months ago and isn’t slowing down anytime soon. As their fan base keeps growing, so does their content list.

The streaming service ultimately released certain films to the service early or entirely. Disney’s Frozen 2 and Pixar’s Onward were a couple of the features that were released soon after their box office debuts. Whereas Disney’s Artemis Fowl was released entirely on Disney Plus, due to theaters across the country being closed for the foreseeable future. This makes fans and viewers question the future of other films that were said to be released this year from the company.

Although, fans are excited that the streaming service has added these films earlier to the roster, it’s future films they have on their minds. Disney has already announced some features’s release dates have been extended. Mulan will now be released on July 24th. Marvel’s Black Widow has been pushed back to November 6th. Pixar’s Soul will be released on November 20th. As for other films, company head Bob Chapek said that they will be dealing with each film on a case by case basis.

Hopefully, when the country gets back to some sense of normalcy, we can all look forward to seeing our new favorite Disney films in theaters. Thankfully, we have so much amazing content to watch on Disney Plus. Now with the streaming service soon to reach Japan, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal and more, Disney could be looking at 100 million members very soon.
