Mickey’s Jammin Jungle Parade

Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the setting for Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade.  Don’t miss out on this extra special parade.

  1. This 15 minute parade starts and ends at Tusker House in Harambe Village.
  2. This parade is of course, animal themed. You will love the giant whimsical animals that march through the park!
  3. If you sit near the Kilimanjaro safari entrance in Africa you will get to see the parade two times as it makes a great big loop! (Here is a special tip: Wait for the parade to begin and move away from Harambe. At this time many spectators will leave…this is when you make your move. You will have prime viewing spots open for your choosing and the parade will be passing by this area again in 10-15 minutes!)
  4. 25 guests are chosen daily to participate in the parade!
  5. The music is festive Island style and is sure to get you on your feet and moving!
  6. Michael Curry, who helped with Disney’s Broadway show, The Lion King, worked his magic in designing the parade puppets!
  7. Clearly this is a popular parade and for this reason if it is a must see on your list you need to try to stake out a spot at least 30-45 minutes before show time. My suggestion: Grab a cold snack (read: Ice Cream) and hunker down!

  1. Loved it!!! Totally fun and exciting! The one thing that is missing for us, is to one day get lucky and get picked to ride on the float/jeep. That is such a special touch. The look on the families faces that get picked is priceless! Loud, Fun, Exhilarating, Fun.. We just love it!

  2. This is one of my favorite parades. We sat by the construction wall ( going up for the new FOLK ) and since it was only 1 sided viewing, we had alot of 1 to 1 character interaction. Especially because my daughter was wearing a Lion King shirt. Multiple characters stopped by and high fived her, blew her kisses, etc… The only issue I have is it so late in the day because by this time of day I am ready to head back to my resort and cool off and nap. Wish it was at 200 pm.

  3. I still have never seen this. I guess I will have to put in on our must do list next time
