Magic Kingdom holds one of the most popular Halloween events at Disney World, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is definitely an event that is not to be missed! Get your favorite costume ready for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a separately ticketed event in Magic Kingdom park! It’s the happiest haunting on Earth! Don’t miss your chance to collect candies, sweets and frightfully delightful treats—all while the park hosts grim grinning ghosts, eerie entertainment and Disney Characters that go bump in the night.

This year, there are more nights and new reasons to celebrate the spooky season this year during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. This special-ticket event for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs select nights Aug. 17-Oct. 31, 2018, at Magic Kingdom Park – the earliest it has ever started.

New twists and treats this year include:

On Pirates of the Caribbean, new pirates invade the experience, interacting with sailing guests who will join the search for Gunpowder Pete.
The Mad Tea Party will take guests on a colorful teacup ride, as special lighting and other effects put a glowing new spin on the night.
Explorers visiting Space Mountain will hurtle through deep space, as a new soundtrack and more transform the adventure.
Storybook Circus welcomes the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam, a dance party featuring favorite Disney Junior Characters, including Doc McStuffins.
This year also marks the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney Pictures’ “Hocus Pocus.” What better way to celebrate the film than with the spellbinding Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular on the
Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage where the Sanderson Sisters will “put a spell on you.”

As always, guests should keep their eyes open for dancing ghosts, the Headless Horseman, plus Mickey Mouse, Peter Pan and many more beloved Disney Characters in the Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade. There will also be plenty of sweets around the park for all trick-or-treaters, including allergy-friendly options. And each night during the party, the skies above an eerily lit Cinderella Castle come alive during Happy HalloWishes, a magical fireworks extravaganza that definitely goes bump in the night!

Yes, you are seeing double! These identical twin couples from Michigan brought the word “twinning” to a whole new level when they honeymooned recently at Walt Disney World.

Not only did they honeymoon together, but they also went on their first date together and got engaged at the same time. Then, on August 3, 2018, Zack Lewan married Krissie Bevier. On August, Zack’s brother married Krissie’s sister, Kassie.

After sharing a reception in Michigan they traveled to Walt Disney World to honeymoon at the top-rated honeymoon destination. The newlyweds donned bride and groom mouse ears and matching shirts and had a fun day exploring the Magic Kingdom. It was the first-ever visit to Disney for the Lewan brothers and the gals were thrilled to show them all around the Vacation Kingdom. Throughout their stay, they also checked out Pandora – The World of Avatar, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Disney Springs, but said the highlight was a meet and greet and congratulations by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Look alive ghosts and ghouls, it looks like brand new Haunted Mansion Annual Passholder Merchandise has started to haunt Walt Disney World. The spooktacular new items have materialized at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom. The haunting collection has two new shirts, and a decorative tray.

The infamous Hat Box Ghost graces the front of a new unisex tee available for passholders. His bold top hat has “PASSHOLDER” written across, while an eerie roses intertwine with a Haunted Mansion banner. This is a grey tee that has a relaxed feel to it.

You can keep it as cool as the beloved Haunted Mansion with the faded black tank top. This top features a gorgeous bat shaped design, filled with beloved characters and icons from the attraction. Production Begins On Disney’s Live-Action “Mulan”!

Mulan

Production on Disney’s “Mulan,” a live-action adaptation of the studio’s 1998 animated feature, has begun. The film will shoot on locations in New Zealand and China and will open in U.S. theaters on March 27, 2020. “Mulan” is the epic adventure of a fearless young woman who masquerades as a man in order to fight Northern Invaders attacking China. The eldest daughter of an honored warrior, Hua Mulan is spirited, determined and quick on her feet. When the Emperor issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army, she steps in to take the place of her ailing father as Hua Jun, becoming one of China’s greatest warriors ever.

Disney’s animated feature, which was released in 1998, starred Ming-Na Wen, Miguel Ferrer, and Eddie Murphy and was nominated for an Oscar® and two Golden Globe® Awards.

The story of the legendary warrior is one of China’s most popular folktales and is still a part of the curriculum in Chinese schools today.

Liu Yifei (“The Forbidden Kingdom,” “Once Upon a Time”) was cast as Hua Mulan following a year-long global casting search. Joining her in the film are: Donnie Yen (“Star Wars: Rogue One”); Jason Scott Lee (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny”); Yoson An (“The Meg”); Utkarsh Ambudkar (“Pitch Perfect”); Ron Yuan (“Marco Polo”); Tzi Ma (“Arrival”); Rosalind Chao (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”); Cheng Pei-Pei (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”); Nelson Lee; Chum Ehelepola; with Gong Li (“Memoirs of a Geisha,” “Raise the Red Lantern”) and Jet Li (“Shaolin Temple,” “Lethal Weapon 4”).
