Have you caught a glimpse of the new designs on Disney Vacation Club’s (aka DVC) van fleet? Cinderella , Buzz & Woody , and Mickey & Minnie now envelope most of the vans. They should all be wrapped before too long, so keep your eye out for these unique transport vans.
Drivers load strollers fully packed with diaper bags and drinks intact. No need to fold them down. The back of the van has plenty of room for even the biggest baby buggy. Vans are also equipped with a car seat for little Mousketeers. I watched as the driver even helped buckle the kiddies in. So, if you’ve been wanting to take a tour of DVC, reserve one today. Fun and painless process and just maybe the gateway to an annual vacation destination. Nothing makes you feel more immersed in the Disney family, than owning a part of DVC.
I talked with Larry, a driver for DVC. He said they have a fleet of 30-32 vans in use, on any given day. He said the drivers’ favorite is the Buzz & Woody wrap. Drivers are assigned vehicles randomly, but the driver that gets assigned to Woody, gets a big smile across their face. Buzz & Woody seems to be the hands down favorite, with the drivers. Wraps cost about 10K per van, but will be worth it. I watched little kids, who normally would not be too thrilled with going on a tour, ask for Moms to take their pics, before clambering into the vans.
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a timeshare program operated by Disney. The timeshares cover 14 resorts: ten DVC resorts at Walt Disney World and one DVC resort at Disneyland in California, as well as one resort each in Oahu, Hawaii, Vero Beach, Florida and Hilton Head, South Carolina.
