Guests visiting the California Adventure Park can find this yummy treat located at the Churros cart near Redwood Creek Challenge Traill. The trail, located in Grizzly Peak, is a great place for guests to explore, climb, swing and play on a wilderness adventure suitable for the whole family.

Explore the area in any order you wish and enjoy a “forest” range of activities as you enjoy your new Maple Bacon Churro! This amazingly good Churro that tastes just like breakfast is a traditional cinnamon-sugar Churro coated in a maple glaze and crumbled bacon! MMM, MMM!

First came the cheeseburger, then came the reuben, now the buffalo chicken has arrived! Guests can now enjoy buffalo chicken spring rolls in the Magic Kingdom.

These yummy treats are located in Adventureland, just across from the Enchanted Tiki Room and near the Jungle Cruise.

This location has become known for its uniquely flavored spring rolls – starting with vegetable, then moving into more daring flavors like cheeseburger and reuben. For $7.50, guests can mix and match any two flavors of these scrumptious snacks.

Inside the newest member of the deep-fried family is creamy chicken coated in a tangy buffalo sauce. Yum!

This location also serves a variety of refreshments like pop and water which makes it a great pit-stop in Adventureland before joining Jack Sparrow on Pirates of the Caribbean or flying on a magic carpet with Aladdin!

This wife waited for her husband to leave town and turned his office into a Haunted Mansion inspired wonderland! My husband needs some pointers! The OC Register shared this hauntingly good story of how Donna Collins designed the space for her husband this past November in their Valencia, CA home. The dark attraction at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World is world famous and a cult classic for many. If you have been to the parks, chances are you have gotten to ride with 999 happy haunts! However, it seems Michael Collins has us all beat for “top fan.”

As reported by The Orange County Register, Michael’s wife Donna Collins created his dream office space in just five days while he was out of town. The attention to detail in every aspect of this office space is fantastic.

The OC Register reported, “She spent two days simply painting the ceiling, sponging Ralph Lauren metallic paint onto the molding, and then pale peach paint to reflect light and be easy on her husband’s eyes while he used the computer. Diligent research online led her to find Victorian floral wallpaper that matched the motif in the mansion’s foyer.”

Star-Lord and Gamora are back! The Guardians of the Galaxy-Awesome Mix Live will be returning this summer! If you missed this intergalactic concert the first time around, you will want to make sure you make your way to Epcot June 14 to August 18, 2019.

You are probably wondering why an alien band is on this planet. As luck would have it, after Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, saved their world from certain destruction, Quill was able to broker a deal with Nova Prime and the Xandarian Government. Quill was hoping to bring an outreach program to his home planet in order to share Xander’s rich heritage and culture with Earth’s People.

Fortunately for us, Quill was able to convince Xander’s leaders of a location on Earth with a similar mission, a well-known theme park called Epcot. Quill explained the mission and vision of Epcot as a place where cultures are celebrated which would be an out-of-this-world location to host the Guardians of the Galaxy-Awesome Mix Live. Xander agreed but also sent along some of their most talented musicians to perform the human audiences’ most beloved hits.

The Guardians of the Galaxy-Awesome Mix Live will feature music from the hit movie all while the band plays classic hits from the 70’s and 80’s. With each Guardians of the Galaxy-Awesome Mix Live occurring five times a day, your family will have perfect opportunities to bust a move during the event. Word has it, you might even catch a glimpse of Little Groot!

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa at Disneyland Resort is an elegant Craftsman style hotel with California inspired artwork. One of these locations, White Water Snacks, has officially reopened for business.

White Water Snacks is a quick service location located inside the Grand Californian Hotel. It had been closed for refurbishment temporarily, but as of January 18th, it has officially been reopened. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this quick service restaurant is a convenient place for hotel guests to grab a quick bite before heading out to the parks. Construction Continues on the NBA Experience at Disney Springs

Construction is moving along on the NBA Experience at Disney Springs. The entertainment venue is scheduled to open summer 2019. The massive building is taking shape in the location where Disney Quest once stood.

Since our last update, we can see the progression of the structure.

While the building still has a ways to go before it takes on the appearance shown on the poster pasted to the construction walls the work is moving along at a great pace. The multi-level venue will add to the fun and unique atmosphere of Disney Springs. The shopping, dining, and entertainment destination has gone from a maybe we will to a must do for guests staying at the Walt Disney World resort.

The NBA Experience, just as the name implies gives visitors the chance to feel like a player in the NBA. From entering the NBA draft to working on tracking and skills, players will see their stats and begin their careers. Work with a trainer to hone in on the most important skills and learn to dribble like a pro.

The NBA Experience is a collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineers and the NBA. While the NBA is offering input to ensure the experience is as authentic as possible, Disney Imagineering is ensuring a fully immersive experience. Based on the phenomenal experiences Walt Disney Imagineers have provided us recently we can expect that this venue will be nothing short of stellar.

New Construction Progress for Jaleo at Disney Springs

We are quickly approaching the opening of one of Disney Springs newest restaurants Jaleo. Brought to the resort by award-winning chef José Andrés, the upcoming eatery will showcase the flavors of Spain. Jaleo is set for opening this winter, and we’ve got a look at the construction progress at the highly-anticipated location.

New photos from the site reveal finishing touches being done to the facade of the restaurant. Unique roof panels, inspired by an artichoke, have already been installed. The restaurant’s sign has been put in place as well. Views of the interior are still blocked, but we recently shared a look at new concept art featuring the planned decor. The new location will feature no solid walls, bright colors, and no straight lines. This design gives the space an organic and welcoming feel that guests are sure to enjoy. The upscale eatery’s theme will be a celebration of Spanish culture, art, and food. A quick service window will also be featured, offering Spanish street food inspired bites.

Jaleo at Disney Springs will be the newest location for the highly successful chain with currently four locations around the country. A new location is also slated to be built in Dubai. Chef José Andrés has not only been recognized for his achievements in culinary arts, but he’s also a noted humanitarian and 2019 Nobel Peace Prize nominee. We don’t have an exact opening date for Jaleo yet, but with the projected debut this season, we will hopefully have one to share with you soon.

Now and Forever Slush Arrives at The Magic Kingdom

It’s time to celebrate Mickey and Minnie’s 90th birthday! Everyone’s favorite mouse couple recently marked the anniversary of their first screen appearance in Steamboat Willie. To add to the merriment, Walt Disney World has rolled out many new ways to enjoy Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration. One of these exciting new offerings is the Now and Forever Slush currently being served at Gaston’s Tavern.

The Now and Forever Slush is a delightful frozen cider, served in a champagne flute. It’s garnished with a white chocolate-dipped strawberry. To make this treat extra special for Mickey and Minnie, the strawberry includes a silhouette of the iconic pair exchanging a kiss. The new drink is non-alcoholic and is available throughout the day. If you’re a fan of the LeFou’s Brew that can usually be found at Gaston’s, then you will most likely enjoy this frozen variation. The foam topping has been removed, but the white chocolate strawberry definitely makes up for its absence. It’s always nice to find a new frozen drink in the hot Florida sun, and this one is certain to cool you off.

Ironically, the Now and Forever Slush isn’t going to be here long. The beverage will be served until the end of February at Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland. The Mickey Celebration Sipper Has Returned To Magic Kingdom

Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration has arrived at Magic Kingdom, and with it some exciting goodies! One returning favorite is the Mickey Celebration Sipper we all fell in love with for the 90th Anniversary celebration.

The fun Mickey Sipper and Birthday Hat Novelty Straw have returned! It’s now available at various quick-service restaurants throughout the park, and is simply adorable. He’s a very limited edition novelty cup, and only available while supplies last. The great thing about this novelty souvenir is once you’re done using him as a cup at the parks, you can use him as a display figure at home! How cute would this sipper be to use for birthday celebrations at home as well?

The Mickey Celebration Sipper is just one of many fun novelty souvenirs coming to the Disney Parks this year. Be on the look out for the Minnie Sundae Sink at the Plaza in Magic Kingdom and also available now! There will also be some exciting popcorn buckets coming in the future!

The Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration runs now through September at Magic Kingdom Park. The treats and merchandise offerings will change throughout the year, so stay tuned for more exciting goodies. I can’t wait to see what will debut next!
