Mickey and Minnie are celebrating their 90th anniversary with a huge celebration. It wouldn’t be a party without fabulous food, and Disneyland Resort has announced some of the yummy options you can choose. We’ve got your guide to the treats and where you can find them. The churros are taking center stage, but there is so much more. Get your ears on and try some of these party goodies.

Disneyland Park

  • Mickey Mouse Celebration Churro (small world Promenade) – chocolate, cookie butter, and Mickey confetti tops this churro. Served with Mickey dots and red marshmallow creme served on the side.
  • Fantasia Mickey Churro (near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) – a chocolate churro served warm and festively sprinkled with red and blue sugar, alongside are a Sorcerer Mickey hat and red marshmallow creme

  • Banana Pudding Churro (near Haunted Mansion) – a classic churro with a banana pudding sauce for dipping. Did I mention this churro is coated in vanilla cookie crumbles?
  • “Celebrate Mickey” Chicken and Waffles (Carnation Cafe – breakfast only) – sweet frosted and sprinkled mini Mickey waffles are served alongside chicken with a frosted cereal crust
  • Hot Chicken and Waffles (Carnation Cafe) – spicy chicken and a large Mickey waffle are topped with blistered tomato and balsamic glaze

  • TV Dinner Pot Roast (Carnation Cafe) – mac and blue cheese with bacon, sauteed green beans, and carrots, and braised red cabbage share the plate with a Wagu pot roast and for dessert a pineapple upside down cake.
  • Birthday Sundae (Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor) – a classic with ice cream, fudge, brownie, whipped cream,  sprinkles, and a cherry on top
  • Mickey Mouse Club Hat Dessert (Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe) – Mickey Ears and the familiar club logo decorate this chocolate mousse truffled dome filled with a vanilla bean creme brulee center
  • Specialty Toasted Cheese Sandwich (Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe) – three types of cheese (Swiss, Jack, and Fiscalini cheddar) along with pancetta  and  blackberry jam makes this sandwich amazing
  • Celebration Cake (Plaza Inn starts February 19) – red and yellow cake layers are separated with raspberry and lemon filling and topped with festive decorations

  • Mickey -inspired Cheeseburger (Red Rose Taverne) – A red potato bun surrounds a 1/3lb Angus burger topped with burger sauce laying on top of a lettuce leaf
  • Mickey Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcake (Toon Town) – buttercream frosting, sprinkles, chocolate ears, a “party hat” cone, and red glitter macaron, and sugar candle make this party treat so very sweet.
  • Minnie Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcake (Toon Town) – buttercream frosting, sprinkles, chocolate ears and Minnie’s signature red bow top this cupcake.
  • Bacon Mac & Cheese Footlong Hotdog (Pluto’s Dog House) – this dog is on an Italian roll with bacon mac and cheese on top
  • Mickey Mouse Pepperoni Pizza (Daisy’s  Diner)
  • Mickeys  Birthday Sundae (Clarabelle’s) – frozen yogurt on the bottom and loaded up with fruit popcorn, birthday cake cotton candy, candied chocolates, and colorful celebration cake
  • Jumbo Hand-Crafted Bavarian Pretzel (Troubador Tavern) – loaded with toppings of nacho cheese, crushed spicy onion chips, and smoked black salt

 

  • Mickey Hat Dessert (Rancho del Zocalo) – a  dome of vanilla mousse surrounds a churro crunch filling and is decorated with mango glaze and striped Mickey ears.
  • Frozen Strawberry Horchata (Rancho del Zocalo) – topped with whipped cream a dehydrated strawberry, and a bit of sprinkled cinnamon
  • Sopes Trio (Rancho del Zocalo) – refried bean, lettuce, spicy lime aioli, salsa roja are served with chicken beef and pork on fried corn dough
  • Charcuterie Board (Cafe Orleans) – three types of  artisanal cheese are served with sliced meats, honeycomb, dried fruit, nuts, cornichons, creole mustard, and toast
  • Smoked Salmon Salad
  • Fried Chicken and Beignets (Cafe Orleans) – buffalo style chicken and sweet traditional beignets are accompanied by waffle fries and herb bacon coleslaw
  • Birthday Cake Mickey Beignets (Cafe Orleans)
  • Mickeys’ Mac and Cheese (French Market – Kid’s meal)
  • Mickey Pasta with Marinara Sauce (French Market – Kid’s Meal)
  •  Lobster Pot Pie Soup (Harbour Gallery) – Served in a bread bowl a rich cream sauce surrounds lobster, red potatoes, carrots, celery, and herbs

  • Vegan Hot Diggity Dog (Harbour Gallery) – spicy lentil chili, onions, and mustard dress up this vegan dog

  • Celebration Mickey Chocolate Churro (near Goofy’s Sky School) –  This churro is crusted with chocolate cookies, drizzled with chocolate icing, then festively topped with sprinkles

  • Hand-dipped Mickey or Minnie Ice Cream Bar (Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream)
  • Confetti Cake Shake (Smokejumpers Grill) – this vanilla shake has crumbled  cake and icing then topped with whipped cream and festive Mickey sprinkles

  • Cookies ‘n’ Cream Bread Pudding (Pacific Warf Cafe)
  • Mickey Fun Wheel Cookie (Gourmet Coffee Cart) – a raspberry filled sugar cookie is decorated to resemble mickeys fun wheel and drizzled with colored chocolate
  • Celebration Cookies (Gourmet Coffee Cart) a raspberry jam filled shortbread cookie is served with two dulce de leche filled shortbread cookies then topped off with a chocolate Mickey celebration logo
  • Spectacular Mickey Pizza (Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta) – Mickey-shaped pepperoni  and “confetti” peppers and onion s top this cheese pizza

  • A Cheesy Celebration (Award Wieners)  – a toasted bun hugs a cheddar sausage link that is topped with mac and cheese, salsa verde, cheese curds, and spicy cheese puff crumbles
  • More Cheese Please (Award Wieners) – mac and cheese, salsa verde, cheese curds, and spicy cheese puff crumbles top these filmstrip fries
  • “Get Your Ears on” Funnel Cake Fries (Award Wieners) – these fries are dusted with chocolate cookies then topped with cookies and cream icing, whipped cream, “90” sprinkles and adorned with chocolate sandwich cookie ears
  • Celebration Cake Funnel Fries (Award Wieners) – sweet fries with toppings of crumbled confetti cake, frosting, whipped cream, and festive Mickey sprinkles

The Disneyland Hotel is hosting two party events.

  •  Get Your Ears On  – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration DInner at Goofy’s Kitchen – Starting January 18th
    • Chef Goofy is throwing a party for his pals and you are invited! Themed party food, festive decor, and take home swag make this dinner a celebration. The all-you-care-to-enjoy meal has  5 stations featuring fun and original dishes, including Steamboat Chili, Mouse Ear Cookies, and celebration cupcakes. Our guests of honor Micky and Minnie plan on attending so make your reservations and join the party.
  • Mickey’s Tea Party Celebration will run January 19 – March 31. This afternoon-tea is held at Steakhouse 55 and features sweet and savory treats and looseleaf teas. Reservations are recommended. The tea parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays as well as every Thursday in March from 12:00 – 3:00. There are two menus to choose from, the Classic Celebration Tea and the Premium Celebration.

Disney’s Grand California Resort & Spa has three locations to get in on the delicious party fun.

  • Storyteller’s Cafe has buffet offerings including Mickey Mac & Cheese, Minnie  “Bow” Pasta, Mickey Pepperoni Flatbread, and Minnie Polka-Dot Cheese Flatbread.
  • White Water Snacks is offering a Mickey Mouse-Shaped Artisanal Pizza, Mickey Mouse Pretzel, and a sweet Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake Crispy Treat.
  • Hearthstone Lounge has Mickey’s Baked Alaska, and Mickey Mouse-Shaped Artisanal Pizza.
