Are you a fan of Pop Sockets like I am? I have had them on every phone and phone case I have owned since they came out!

While browsing the NYC Toy Fair I dropped by their booth and checked out some of the new Disney, Star Wars and Marvel designs that are coming soon. There are so many I want!!!

Here is a closer look at each design:

As you can see some of your favorite Disney brands are represented… I am a big fan of the BB-8 myself.

Disney is almost always running discounts and promotional offers for their destinations. With so many places to visit, and ways to save it’s hard to keep track of everything. We’ve got a list of the current promotions available to guests, so let’s take a look.

Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is still running its “Gift of Magic” promotion from the beginning of the year. Guests can save up to 20% on rooms at select Walt Disney World hotels for stays most nights, now through April 27, 2019.

Enjoy a break in warmer weather this Spring and Summer with a specially-priced room and ticket packages. Guests can save up to 30% (booked by March 24, 2019) and 25% (booked by May 27, 2019) on select rooms at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Offers valid for stays most nights April 28 through May 23, July 6 through July 12, and August 9 through September 30, 2019.

A special romantic new experience, the Disney Family of Wines Weekend will be held from May 17 to 19, 2019 and will feature a 2-night stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Featuring highlights like luncheons, gala dinner and interactive workshops from winery and culinary experts. Package must be booked by May 3, 2019.

For tickets only, there is a 4-Park Magic Ticket allowing guests to visit all Walt Disney World parks with a specially priced ticket allowing admission to one park per day for four days.

Florida residents can enjoy savings of up to 35% at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels for select nights from April 28 to June 30, 2019.

Disneyland Resort

Disneyland has a special limited-time ticket offer. Guests can visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks for as little as $70 per day when purchasing a 3-Day, 1-Park Per Day Ticket ($210). This also includes one Magic Morning early admission with each ticket. Valid use begins January 7, 2019, and expires 13 days after the first day of use or on May 23, 2019 (whichever occurs first). Blockout dates apply.

Current Disney Destinations Deals and Discounts

Guests wanting to stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel can save up to 25% on select rooms most Sunday through Thursday nights now until April 11, 2019. The room must be booked by March 16, 2019.

There’s a 2-night/ 2-day room and ticket package for Good Neighbor Hotels in the Disneyland Resort area. This package has 2-day (1-park per day) souvenir tickets, accommodations at a Good Neighbor Hotel, a Walt Disney Travel Company lanyard, exclusive pin, and a souvenir button for various dates throughout the rest of the year.

Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line guests can save up to 25% off select tropical cruises from both coasts. Special rates are available for certain 7-night sailings from Port Canaveral, San Juan, and San Diego. This deal is only valid for new bookings, and full payment is required at time of booking.

Adventures By Disney

Take the trip of a lifetime and sail through Europe on an Adventures By Disney all-inclusive river cruise. Guests can save up to $500 per person on select 2020 river cruises when booking by March 30, 2019. Special rates and availability are limited for this exciting offer and are valid for select cruises sailing May 14 to October 8, 2020.

Guests can book a 2020 Adventures By Disney Short Escape early and save $150 per person. Booking must be made by March 30, 2019, to take advantage of this offer for select Short Escape vacations in Paris, Amsterdam and Budapest from May 12 through December 26, 2020.

There are still discounts available for trips this year as well. Right now guests can save up to $300 per person on select Adventures By Disney departures throughout this Winter and Spring. Bookings for land and Short Escape destinations all over the world are still available but must be booked by March 15, 2019.

Aulani Resort

Aulani Resort in Hawai’i is one of Disney’s most amazing destinations and guests can save up to 30% on their stay this Spring. This offer is good for stays March 22 through June 7, 2019. The longer you stay, the more you save with this 4 or 5-night promotion and must be booked by May 8, 2019.

The NY Toy Fair is underway and we have found some fun Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars toys for children and adults of all ages. Yesterday we found Sun-Staches, a line of character sunglasses that cover your child’s face from the harsh sun rays. They might look familiar! They were featured on Shark Tank too!

Will Captain Marvel Hit $100 Million on Opening Weekend?

Disney and Marvel’s first female superhero, Captain Marvel, is about to hit screens and the anticipation for the newest Avenger is increasing. Captain Marvel is set to debut in theaters on March 8 and now there’s talk that the newest Marvel blockbuster could hit $100 million in ticket sales in its first weekend. Early box office estimates are tracking the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to perform extremely well on its first few days with some predicting sales well above the $100 million mark.

The news of Captain Marvel’s expected success comes as a good omen to theaters who have been dealing with a continual decline in overall ticket sales this year, compared to 2018. It comes as no surprise really, as Marvel films have consistently done well with audiences and made billions for Disney. Captain Marvel follows the success of Ant-Man and The Wasp, which raked in over $600 million globally, and the immensely popular Avengers: Infinity War. Infinity War ultimately earned over $2 billion worldwide and helped to prop up ticket sales for domestic theaters last year.

Set in 1995, Captain Marvel will follow the journey of Air Force Pilot Carol Danvers as she protects Earth from warring alien factions while searching for clues about a past she can’t remember. The film stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers and features Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan and Samuel L. Jackson reprising his iconic role of Nick Fury. Captain Marvel premieres in theaters on March 8th and is expected to lead into Avengers: Endgame, which is set to hit theaters on April 26.

Annual Passholder Discount Extended at Maria and Enzo’s

Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante in Disney Springs has announced that it is extending their 40% discount on lunches for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. The Sicilian restaurant has been a hit since it opened in January of last year along with other major new additions to the Disney Springs area. The location is part of the Patina Restaurant group who is also responsible for other guest favorite restaurants like Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs and Via Napoli in Epcot.

Maria and Enzo’s is designed as an elegant Italian trattoria set in a “repurposed airline terminal” from the 1930s. The location serves authentic Italian fare in an opulent dining room featuring 50-foot high ceilings and a stunning view of Lake Buena Vista. There is also an adults only First Class Lounge providing an extra relaxing dining experience.

Maria and Enzo’s also shares a building with its “sister locations” Enzo’s Hideaway and Pizza Ponte. Enzo’s hideaway is a speakeasy-themed bar serving prohibition era cocktails as well as Roman-inspired dishes like handmade pasta. Pizza Ponte is a quick service location serving Sicilian-style pizza, sandwiches, and salads.

The 40% discount for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders is available until May 31st, 2019, for lunches beginning at 11:30 am daily. It is not available with any other offer or during brunch.

While at the 2019 New York City Toy Fair I dropped by the Seven20 booth to see all of the new Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars Merch. Many of the items are due out later this fall but we were able to get a sneak peek today.

Seven20 is a lifestyle brand passionate about pop-culture based products and the fans who love them.

Let start off with the Star Wars product line…

We found some new cupcakes at Intermission Food Court and couldn’t wait to share them with you.

The new Character Icon Cupcake is here just in time to celebrate Sleeping Beauty’s 60th anniversary! This Aurora inspired treat is a yellow cake base with lots of pink and blue frosting and sprinkles. It’s topped with a white chocolate crown dusted with edible gold glitter! What’s my favorite part if this cupcake? The cotton candy flavored icing!

This dreamy cupcake is only $5.99 or 1 snack credit on the dining plan.

Next up is the unicorn cupcake. This delicious yellow cake is topped with strawberry lemonade frosting and a crunchy cone, but the best part is what’s inside. Of course, a unicorn cupcake should have some sort of mystical powers – and this cupcake is filled with sprinkles and crispy pearls!

February 22nd Is National Margarita Day!

Get ready to celebrate National Margarita Day at Disneyland! Two of Downtown Disney District’s restaurants are taking you south-of-the-border with margarita specialties. Starting this weekend, through the holiday itself, February 22nd, Uva Bar and Tortilla Jo’s are mixing up some drink specials.

Uva Bar is serving up a classic House Margarita for only $7! Normally $14, the concoction contains their house tequila, triple sec, sweet n’ sour and lime. While you’re there, be sure to try the Spanish-style tapas dishes at their outdoor bar, in the heart of the Downtown Disney District.

Another option for National Margarita Day is over at Tortilla Jo’s. They’re offering a limited time drink called the “Pineapple-Chipotle Margarita”. Blending Cazadores Blanco tequila, muddled pineapple, adobe chipotle pepper, agave nectar, and lime juice for $14. While you’re there, don’t miss the made-to-order guacamole, made tableside just the way you want it.

Sneak Peek Of New Disney Funko Products Debuting In 2019

Toy Fair New York 2019 is in full swing, and there is so much to look at! One of the most eye catching sites however was the Funko and Loungefly section. They’ve got a fabulous display of all the New Disney Funko Products coming this year, as well as some whimsical new Loungefly accessories too!

With Toy Story 4 coming out this year, there is quite a selection of POP!s and other figures to choose from. It looks like there will be a few mysteries, as well as Loungefly accessories to match too.

Dumbo is another highly anticipated film debuting this year, and we’re happy to see some fabulous new Dumbo designs!

More than just POP!s will be available, look for Vinyl.s and Loungefly accessories too!

Updated Aladdin figures are also coming just in time for the new Live Action film!

Another classic getting a live action update is Lion King, so of course we need new Lion King POP!s too!

The Incredibles POP! vinyl figures are still available!

The new Villains stuff is already available in stores and online!

The 90th Anniversary True Original figures are also still available.

If you loved the Flocked Winnie the Pooh inspired by Christopher Robin, you’ll love the Tigger and Eeyore ones too!

There are lots of new Marvel goodies debuting this year!
