Frozen The Musical Announces North American Tour Dates. Frozen has taken the world by storm. Since the theatrical release of the animated feature film, Frozen, fans of all ages have eagerly awaited the day they would get more of our favorite Disney Royal Sisters, Elsa and Anna, their friends, and their sneaky foes.

When Frozen The Musical was announced fans ran to the box office to see this spectacle come to life on stage. Since its Broadway debut Frozen The Musical has captivated fans and even thawed a few frozen hearts of some critics. Fans were overjoyed at the announcement of a North American Tour of the popular show, giving fans the chance to see the musical without making a trip to The Big Apple. Jessica Jones and The Punisher Cancelled by Netflix

Jessica Jones and The Punisher Cancelled by Netflix. The cancellation of these two shows finalizes the separation between Netflix and Marvel Television.

This comes as no surprise after the announcement by Disney, Marvel Televisions parent company, about creating its very own streaming service called Disney+, set to begin streaming later this year. Since the two companies will be parting ways it was only natural that Netflix would choose to stop production on Marvel or Disney related content.

Before the decision was made The Punisher‘s Jon Bernthal stated he was “at peace” with whatever the outcome would be. After the announcement was made about the show’s cancellation Bernthal posted this message to his followers and fans of the series via his Instagram.

Netflix had this to say,“Marvel’s The Punisher will not return for a third season on Netflix. Showrunner Steve Lightfoot, the terrific crew, and exceptional cast including star Jon Bernthal, delivered an acclaimed and compelling series for fans, and we are proud to showcase their work on Netflix for years to come. In addition, in reviewing our Marvel programming, we have decided that the upcoming third season will also be the final season for Marvel’s Jessica Jones. We are grateful to showrunner Melissa Rosenberg, star Krysten Ritter, and the entire cast and crew, for three incredible seasons of this groundbreaking series, which was recognized by the Peabody Awards among many others. We are grateful to Marvel for five years of our fruitful partnership and thank the passionate fans who have followed these series from the beginning.”

Netflix had previously cancelled Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Defenders, and Daredevil. It was only a matter of time before the decision would be made to also cut Jessica Jones and The Punisher as well.

Disney has made no formal announcement about the fate of these series but has hinted at the possibility that “high quality” content could make its way to Disney+. The head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb, also wrote a letter to fans and hinted at that very possibility. “Our Network partner may have decided they no longer want to continue telling the tales of these great characters…but you know Marvel better than that,” he wrote. “As Matthew Murdock’s Dad once said, ‘The measure of a man is not how he gets knocked to the mat, it’s how he gets back up.’ To be continued…!”

Carol Burnett Visits Walt Disney World

Comedy legend, Carol Burnett, visited Walt Disney World over the weekend!

Carol Burnett took the time to share a laugh with our old pal Goofy near Spaceship Earth at Epcot. They are both pictured doing her famous “ear tug”. She did this well-known movement at the end of every episode of her variety program, “The Carol Burnett Show”, which aired in the late 60’s and 70’s.

Burnett has made appearances in several Disney shows and movies such as “The Muppet Show”, “Walt Disney World’s 20th Anniversary Celebration”, and “Once Upon a Mattress”. She is a wonderful comedian, actress, singer, and writer who has been making people laugh and smile for many years.

She popped into Walt Disney World while she was in town for a stop on her latest comedy tour.

Bette Midler Set to Perform a Song from Mary Poppins Returns at the Oscars. The acclaimed singer, actress, and producer is best known by Disney Fans for her role as Winifred Sanderson in Hocus Pocus.

Bette’s career has spanned decades and many different forms of media including, song writing, singing, producing, acting and even Broadway! She has won numerous prestigious awards including: 3 Grammy’s, 3 Emmy’s, 2 Tony Awards, and 4 Golden Globes. She is also the recipient of 4 Gold, 3 Platinum, and 3 Multi-Platinum albums by RIAA.

The Hocus Pocus star will be performing “The Place Where Lost Things Go”, the beautiful and heart-wrenching piece from Mary Poppins Returns. Bette Midler made the public announcement via her Twitter account.

Bette is not the only one who is excited! Fans from all over the world are eager to hear her sing and watch her performance. A few fans have even said this act alone is what will draw them to view The Oscars this year. There are several other films by Disney and its affiliate companies, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and Pixar in contention for their own Academy Awards, but Mary Poppins Returns has been nominated for 4 Academy Awards:

Dumbo Themed Items Spotted at Hong Kong Disneyland!

Disney has done it again! This time adding Disney themed items to their inventory list. Recently added to the collection is this Dumbo Sipper Cup Casey Jr. popcorn bucket!

These just recently spotted Dumbo themed items will be a great addition to your already forming popcorn collection. As of right now, there is no official word they will be arriving to Walt Disney World or Disneyland anytime soon. However, recently we have been seeing themed collections overseas before they arrive in the United States. So, there is still a good possibility we will be seeing them at Walt Disney World and Disneyland soon.

These Dumbo themed items are so cute we at least hope we will be seeing them soon in the States, especially with the highly anticipated live-action film Dumbo being released soon. However, we hope this picture is deceiving because they look small, but either way worth a purchase! They seem as if they are the perfect size for the little ones in your life!

Early Morning Magic at Magic Kingdom Extended Into August

Early Morning Magic dates have been extended into August 2019 at the Magic Kingdom! This event gives guests the opportunity to experience select attractions with limited crowds and wait times during the morning hours at Walt Disney World.

Early Morning Magic takes place from 7:45am-10am. Tickets cost $79 plus tax per adult and $69 plus tax per child.

Guests will also enjoy a delicious breakfast at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe included with the price of their ticket! This breakfast buffet includes eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, pastries, fruit, and more from 8am-10am.

Previously, dates for Early Morning Magic were very limited, but Walt Disney World has added several new dates extending into late summer. Check out the dates below:

March: 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, and 31
April: 2, 9, 14, 21, and 28
May: 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, and 28
June: 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, and 30
July: 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, and 30
August: 4 and 6

New The Little Mermaid Inspired Loungefly Collection Coming Soon

One of my favorite highlights from Toy Fair New York was the bright and colorful Funko section! That’s because Loungefly is part of the Funko brand, and there was a fabulous array of new Disney collections to peruse. One of the standouts was the beautiful new Little Mermaid Inspired Loungefly Collection.

This collection features a couple of new silhouettes, and lots of character details! There are no mini backpacks in this collection, but it’s still fabulous. The collection features an Ariel tote, with coordinating wallet, and then Flounder and Sebastian bags.

The Ariel tote is a large sized shopper style, with her face and hair swirled across the bag in another shade of blue. An impressive metal key fob silhouette of Ariel and Flounder hangs from the handle for a look that really stands out.

The coordinating wallet is a fold over, with a shimmering purple scale print. A delicate gold Ariel sparkles beautifully on the front.

New The Little Mermaid Inspired Loungefly Collection Coming Soon

The Flounder and Sebastian bags are a fun twist on the character style designs, and are actually hip packs! Sebastian is a bold red, with a printed design of his disapproving look at Ariel. Flounder is a bright yellow, with a cheerful happy grin that is ready for adventure. Each bag has a hinged appliqué that twists and moves. Sebastian’s features his claws, while Flounder’s showcases his adorable blue fins.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is Really Starting to Take Shape at Disneyland

The galaxy far far away is getting much closer. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is planned to open sometime this summer and Disneyland and sometime during the fall at Walt Disney World, and from recent photos it appears Disney Imagineers are working hard to keep those deadlines. Batuu is taking shape on both sides of the country, but with the earlier opening date, Disneyland’s version is much further along. We can now see Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is really starting to take shape. It won’t be too much longer until guests are able to walk around and experience Batuu for themselves.

While there is a great deal of speculation on the opening date, neither location has announced when they plan to open at this time. The summer and fall designations give us a clue but with the seasons running three months each, there are plenty of possible opening dates. This year, the season of summer runs from Friday, June 21, 2019, to Monday, September 23, 2019, fall picks up on September 23rd and ends on December 22nd, 2019 running almost up to the Christmas holiday.

Peeking over the construction walls is much easier now due to the sheer size of some of the structures. Several of the formations are still encased in scaffolding assuring all of us waiting in anticipation that the area is a work in progress.

While the waiting may seem like forever, soon the constructions walls and scaffolding will be removed. Guests will have the opportunity to experience all Batuu has to offer. From new attractions, dining at Oga’s Cantina, and character meet and greets Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is shaping up to be nothing short of amazing.

Disney After Hours Event Selling Out at Multiple Parks

Disney After Hours has seen a sudden burst in ticket sales! With several recent sold-out nights in the past week, it looks like guests are finally catching on to the magic of nighttime at Walt Disney World.

The event at Animal Kingdom on February 19th has sold-out and a night at Hollywood Studios sold-out last week.

The Disney After Hours event tickets are priced at $125 plus tax if your purchase ahead of time and $129 plus tax for day-of purchases. Disney Vacation Club and Annual Passholder discounts do apply for a $95 + tax purchase price.

This event gives guests access to the park for three additional hours after regular park closing – this means almost no wait for attractions and low crowd levels! Guests are eligible to enter the park at 7 pm before the event starts. Ice cream, popcorn, and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the Disney After Hours ticket.

This a great way to experience Toy Story Land and Pandora: The World of Avatar at night with little to no crowds!

Construction Update For Space 220 Restaurant In Epcot

Construction is really starting to take shape for the new space-themed restaurant, Space 220, being built in Epcot. This new restaurant will offer diners a simulated view of the galaxy as they enjoy their meals in a space-themed dining room.

The concept for this restaurant is being brought to life by the renowned Patina Group and hiring is already underway. The Patina Group is responsible for operations of many favorite restaurants throughout Epcot and Disney Springs such as Via Napoli, Tutto Italia, The Edison, Morimoto Asia, and Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante.

Located between Mission Space and Test Track, this restaurant will be able to seat 350 people. Guests will access the dining room via two fully functioning elevators with large screens inside. The elevator ride will simulate a trip to a space station and will exit into the restaurant which will be connected to the existing lounge. A 250-foot long digital screen in the main dining room will act as a window to the galaxy outside.

A set launch date has not been announced, so stay tuned for updates on this dining experience that is sure to prove out of this world!

Hasbro takes the NYC Toy Fair by storm with Disney Princesses, Frozen, Marvel and More!

I have 2 little girls at home so I am no stranger to Hasbro and their wonderful line of products. Our friend Robbie was able to see some of the new products coming soon from them at the New York City Toy Fair!

I am a big fan of Ralph Breaks the Internet and I especially love how Hasbro has a new product line featuring the Disney Princesses from the movie. So if you love the movie (like me) you will want to check these out:

If Disney Princesses aren’t your thing, maybe a certain web-slinger might be up your alley. Spiderman Far From Home looks like it will be good!

But we can’t talk about Marvel without mentioning Captain Marvel who seems to be everywhere right now! I for one can’t wait for this movie!

Frozen 2 is coming out this year too and of course, we need more Olaf! Check out a couple of the new products:
