Orange Vanilla Coca Cola Spotted at California Adventure

Guests visiting California Adventure Park have a new beverage to quench your thirst. New to the park is Orange Vanilla Coca Cola.

The new citrus soda reminds me of the orange smooth and delicious Creamsicles.

Be on the lookout for carts carrying the new flavored soda. Regular Coca Cola and Diet Coke are available too. Priced at $4.50, grab yours soon if it’s something you’d like to enjoy.

Coca Cola recently is shifting directions with its soda flavors. Coke is hoping the new funky flavors will attract popularity with the Millennial and Generation Z groups. Two new recent Diet Coke flavors have also been released, Blueberry Acai and Strawberry Guava. Coke is excited about the most recent flavors saying they were hoping to remind you of summer days growing up.

It’s unknown how long the new Orange Vanilla Coca Cola will be available in the park or if it will be available in Disneyland as well.

The Orange Vanilla soda has already been released to most stores around the country. If you’ve purchased it, what do you think? Would you compare it to the Creamsicle? SeaWorld Has Announced Additional Musical Artists for the Seven Seas Food Festival

SeaWorld has just announced additional musical artists who will perform during the Seven Seas Food Festival. The festival is currently in full swing at SeaWorld Orlando. This event is packed full of amazing regional and international food options and festival fun. The additions to the lineup include musical artists and acts from yesterday and today. The event occurs Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays through May 5th.

The Seven Seas Food Festival is included with your theme park admission. The concerts are also included, but if guests prefer to have an assigned seat, select shows offer reserved seating. Catch these musical acts at 6:00 P.M. at Bayside Stadium.

Disney likes to take advantage of the lower crowds and cooler weather after the holiday season to focus its time and attention to rides and attractions ready for some TLC. This year is no exception. Currently under refurbishment is the Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak Station in Magic Kingdom.

Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak Station is in Fantasyland across from the Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer. Casey Jr. is the train seen in the Dumbo film. It is used for Dumbo, his mother, and the rest of the circus animals to travel into shows.

The train in the splash area is designed to look like it has actual animals in the cars, by having the elephants and giraffes spraying water at kids.

Over the past few years, the paint has been peeling off. The discoloration in some areas is very noticeable. The entire area needed a good deep cleaning as well. A few of the water features have quit working too. Upon completion, it will showcase brand new paint and working animals again.

The Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak is a very popular attraction with young kids. If you haven’t had a chance to check this area out, consider this fair warning to bring a towel and change of clothes. If you forget, head into Big Top Souvenirs. Towels and clothes are available for purchase.

Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak closed for refurbishment February 11^th,2019. Keep an eye on the area for a reopen on March 24^th, 2019.

Fancy Nancy is Coming to Hollywood Studios!

Ooh la la! Everyone’s favorite French-speaking six year old is coming to Hollywood Studios! Fancy Nancy will be at a new character greeting location, and will also be a part of the breakfast at Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine.

Nancy Clancy, known for her love of fashion and fancy words, is popular among the preschool set. She’ll definitely bring some pizazz to the Play ‘n Dine character experience at Hollywood & Vine. She joins Vamperina, Doc McStuffins and Roadster Racer Goofy at a character breakfast that is not to be missed.

If you don’t get a reservation at Hollywood & Vine, you can find Fancy Nancy in front of her backyard playhouse in Animation Courtyard.

In order to welcome Fancy Nancy, we must bid adieu to Sofia the First. The little princess will be leaving both Animation Courtyard and Hollywood & Vine. Fans can expect to start greeting Fancy Nancy on May 1, 2019.

For those fans of Nancy Clancy on the West Coast, she’ll join Disney California Adventure park later in May at the Disneyland Resort!

Slinky Dog Dash’s Tails Have Returned

Great news! Slinky Dog Dash’s Tails return and have been re-installed to all the coaster trains! You might remember at the beginning of 2019, Disney removed the tails on all coaster trains for safety concerns.

Slinky Dog Dash is the popular, family-friendly coaster in Toy Story Land. Each Slinky Dog coaster takes you on a wild ride. Slinky’s springy coils are stretched to the limit around curves, accelerating up hills and as you drop back down! Riders must be 38 inches tall to enjoy the exhilarating coaster.

Since Toy Story Land is still incredibly popular, a FastPass+ is highly encouraged to avoid long wait times! If you want to go the extra mile for your trip, snag an Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land ticket! Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup Recipe

Everyone loves a good recipe. Whether it is one inspired by a Disney movie such as these “The Little Mermaid” inspired recipes or a recipe from a restaurant such as Morimoto Asia Hoisin Chili Sticky Spare Ribs, you really can’t go wrong!

EPCOT’s World Showcase has some of the very best restaurants and therefore food on Walt Disney World property. Signature dining such as Le Cellier Steakhouse located in the Canadian pavilion is one such example. Here you will find an amazing cheddar soup. Check out the recipe below!

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup

From Le Cellier Steakhouse at EPCOT

Ingredients:
1/2 pound of bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1 medium red onion, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
3 celery ribs, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups chicken stock
4 cups milk
1 pound sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Coarse salt, freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup pale ale, room temperature
Chopped scallions or chives, for garnish

Preparation:
1. Cook bacon in a 4- or 5-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
2. Add onion, celery and butter; sauté until the onion softens, about 5 minutes.
3. Reduce heat to medium. Add flour and stir constantly for about 4 minutes.
4. Whisk in chicken stock and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Add milk and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes. Do not boil after adding milk.
6. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese, Tabasco, Worcestershire, salt and pepper until cheese is melted and soup is smooth. Stir in ale. If soup is too thick, thin to desired consistency with warm milk.
7. Serve hot, garnished with scallions or chives.

Disney-Fox Deal Approved in Brazil, Mexico Likely to Follow.

It’s been a long road for Disney acquiring 21^st Century Fox properties with a Disney-Fox Deal. However, the long road could be coming to an end after a 5-to-1 vote with Brazil’s antitrust regulatory agency Cade giving the Disney-Fox Deal the go-ahead with a few stipulations.

Brazil has concerns, as well as others, that Disney will have too much power over sports programming in the country with the control of both ESPN and Fox Sports. In return for the Disney-Fox deal, Disney has agreed to sell its Fox Sports channel in Brazil but retain the ESPN programming. In addition, Disney has agreed to offer free use of the Fox brand to the company that purchases those channels, plus they won’t attempt to reacquire the sports leagues that already have deals with Fox sports.

Also included in the Disney-Fox deal, Disney has made a deal with the United States Department of Justice that Disney will sell its 22 regional Fox Sports channels within 90-days of the deal’s finalization.

For Disney, Mexico may be the last approval needed before claiming the deal finalized. Luckily for Disney, Brazil has conferred with Mexico about the solution with the Disney-Fox Deal Sports issues. According to a statement from regulators, “In Latin America, the close dialogue between agencies in Brazil, Mexico and Chile resulted in a coordinated solution to the case.”

Critics have speculated an official conclusion could occur as early as next week.

The New Toy Story Loungefly Bags Are Full Of Playful Style

Get ready for a roundup of style, new Toy Story Loungefly Bags have landed on shelves. The new collection features mini backpacks inspired by the iconic heroes Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Each backpack is designed with brilliant details that bring the characters to life.

The new Woody backpack says howdy partner in style, with colorful details just like the character’s iconic outfit. A cow spot design covers the sides just like his vest, and opens up into a yellow plaid. A peek of red bandana pops out up top, and the bottom of the bag is a deep blue like his jeans! The real detail is the amazing appliqués layered on to recreate his shirt buttons, belt and buckle, and of course his sheriff’s badge!

Buzz Lightyear’s bag is a vibrant recreation of his iconic space suit! Green and purple appliqués are layered to bring out the details of his suit, while buttons have been embroidered on for texture. His Space Ranger badge adorns the top middle as the galactic finishing touch.
