It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Christmas decorating has officially begun and Sunset Boulevard is beginning to be lined with dazzling stars for the holidays! Don’t they make you want to grab a cup of hot cocoa and sing your favorite Christmas Carol?

This is only the beginning, but it certainly puts us in a festive mood to see decorations going up around the park.

Hollywood Studios is your go-to place at Disney World for all the holiday fun. Don’t miss Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Goofy’s Candy Company treats get a new look just in time for Halloween in Walt Disney World. While perusing the shops at Hollywood Studios, I came across the all-new packaging for Goofy’s Candy Company. These sweets have gotten even cuter!

Goofy's Candy Company Treats Get a New Look

Bright and bold colors really catch your eye with the new packaging. Goofy has all new expressions to match the different candies, as well. I know my family’s favorite is anything sour. My husband and son can never say no to a bag of the sour gummi worms or sour gummi characters. They are also a great treat to take back home from your vacation. The bagged treats pack and travel well and are a fun way to bring Walt Disney World into your home.

Disney just released artist renderings of the new 15-story tower that will rise next to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

This simply amazing expansion of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort that was announced last year will feature this gorgeous 15-story tower set to be completed next summer.

The new tower will add 545 guest rooms (including 50 suites) to the Coronado Springs Resort. This will also be the new main entry point for guests when visiting the resort. A beautiful 2-story lobby is being designed where guests will be able to check in and also get off their feet and relax.

At the very top of the new tower, Disney will also be adding a new uniquely themed table service dining experience with stunning views of the Walt Disney World resort.

This full resort renovation will not only add this tower but all 1,800-plus existing rooms will undergo updates such as receiving new furnishings, fixtures, and lighting.

Not only are additional rooms coming but a new waterfront restaurant. Disney will also be adding a new waterfront restaurant located on an island in the middle of the resort lake, Lago Dorado. This new restaurant will have new walkways stretching across the water for quick mobility.

All-New Show Opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 22!

Families with little ones will be thrilled at the opening of a BRAND NEW SHOW at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 22

As if children need an excuse to get up and dance! The all-new “Disney Junior Dance Party!” live show will have guest rocking out with cool tunes, eye-popping special effects and all the characters we know and love. Mickey Mouse himself will take part in this lively production. Make plans to see this show during your park visit.

The show includes DJ DeeJay and Finn Fiesta. These two will have everyone join in the fun! An interactive show where the line between the cast members and park guest will blur. Creating a one of a kind experience for park-goers of all ages, Disney magic for sure.

Sing, dance and play along with your Disney Junior favorites, Doc Mcstifins, Timon from “The Lion Guard” and my favorite Disney Jr vampire, Vamparina – from the series of the same name. Mickey Mouse will race in from “Mickey and the Roadster Races” just in the nick of time for a grand finale.

If you are already a fan of Disney’s Junior Dance Party at the Disneyland Resort, you are in for a treat! My favorite, the one, and only Vamparina will join the show beginning February 1, 2019, at Disney California Adventure Park.

The Holidays are Coming Soon to Toy Story Land!

Christmas may still be about 70 days away for the rest of us, but it’s well on its way to the new Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

It was just announced that our best pals Woody, Jessie and Buzz will be clad in their holiday best for Toy Story Land – Flurry of Fun, and we can’t wait to see them!

Sheriff Woody will wear a holiday vest with a Christmas tree and presents on it. He will also have a candy cane accessory in his holster. Jessie’s cowgirl vest will go into hibernation and throughout the holiday season, she will be wearing a new red holiday vest. Her vest will be trimmed in a peppermint pattern. How cute! Buzz Lightyear will still wear his suit–as Space Rangers must–but he will don a bright red sparkly hat just like Santa wears.

Beginning November 8, Guests will be able to experience Toy Story Land in all its festive glory. There will be huge cranberry-and-popcorn garland, an oversized sugar cookie in the likeness of Hamm, Green Alien ornaments and more.

Even the new Toy Story Land attractions will have a holiday overhaul. Guests will hear jingle bells on Slinky Dog Dash, and Alien Swirling Saucers will boast two new holiday musical tracks and themed lighting.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas–at Toy Story Land, anyway!

Disney at Sea with D23 Getting an All New Show!

Guests aboard the Disney Wonder were treated to a brand-new live event last week, Disney at Sea with D23! The 30-minute entertainment news show highlights what’s new and what’s next from all of Disney’s wonderful worlds, from theme parks and movies to television, music, and beyond.

“Our friends at Disney Cruise Line reached out and asked us to develop a show that would take guests on a journey through all the incredible entertainment and experiences coming from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm,” says Michael Vargo, head of D23. “It’s thrilling to share all of the exciting news—and our love for Disney—with our guests on the high seas.”

While inside the Buena Vista Theatre, guests watched the new Captain Marvel trailer, heard about how Disney is celebrating Mickey Mouse’s 90th around the world, and saw the latest concept art for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disneyland’s Tropical Hideaway, and Tokyo DisneySea’s upcoming expansion. Plus, guests heard about all the ways Disney is celebrating the anniversaries of Hocus Pocus and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas—including D23’s own Fanniversary!

The show will be updated every month with new content, so Disney fans can get the scoop on all the excitement coming to Disney.

Plans are to hold the show on every cruise, and the presentation is scheduled to take place on virtually every itinerary, rolling out soon to all ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

New Lego Sculptures Coming to Disney Springs

Nestled right in the heart of Disney Springs and right off Lake Buena Vista, the Lego Store is a favorite spot for many fans, both young and old. As an official Lego Store and with comparable prices to other stores, the shop is a great place to find that set you’ve been missing or let your imagination run wild. If you have time, you can stay and play with legos, finding inspiration from other fans, staff, and the enormous, but very detailed, sculptures all around the store as well as outside. While waiting for a show at the Waterside Stage just around the corner, the Lego sculptures outside the store will delight and amaze.

With the changing of the seasons, the Disney Springs Lego Store has a couple changes too. Recent fans might have noticed that two of the statues outside the entrance are gone. Not only are they missing, but there are piles of Legos and Lego construction workers in place announcing the coming of something new. No longer will the sculpture of Snow White’s dwarves grace the outer walls of the building, but the other statue of Snow White herself has been removed too.

No details have been released about what new sculptures will take their place, but we can speculate! Will the new statues give a nod back to the beginnings of Disney with Mickey and Minnie Mouse? Or will they reach into the future and stand as well-known Star Wars characters? Regardless, they will certainly live up to the hopes and dreams of guests to Disney Springs. Black Tap NYC Now Hiring for Downtown Disney Burger Joint

The New York burger joint, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, known for amazing food and home to the CrazyShake is HIRING at its new location in Downtown Disney in Anaheim.

Two hiring fairs, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct 24-25 and Nov. 1-2 at Splitsville, next door to Black Tap

Black Tap reps said it’s hiring for all positions at this new location in Anaheim. The hiring event, behing held at Splitsville, will be located on the second floor. Keep your parking ticket with you for validation.

If you are unfamiliar with the brand, here’s the scoop. Classic All-American burgers to vegan offerings, spicy Korean wings with unique sides. Teriyaki broccoli and crispy brussels sprouts are a colorful and delectable alternative to french fries. Amazing over the top milkshakes are a must see to believe treat!

Opening in 2015 in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, Black Tap has grown to include three additional locations in New York. It is expanding its international presence as well with locations slated for LasVegas Dubai, Geneva and Singapore!
