We LOVE finding new cupcakes to share with you, and this one puts the pixie dust on top. Meet the Tinker Bell Character Icon Cupcake. Themed after our favorite fairy friend, Tinker Bell! If the name wasn’t enough of a mouthful, check out what it’s made of.

The base of this cupcake is a vanilla cake with a surprise key lime filling. Topped with a key lime buttercream frosting, “pixie dust” sprinkles, Tinker Bell’s “Top Knot” in frosting form, and a pair of white chocolate fairy wings.

Confirmed: Walt Disney World Resorts Will Begin to Charge a $6 Service Fee For Bell Services! Last week we brought you the news that Walt Disney World would begin charging a fee for Bell Services at the resorts. This means guests who have items shipped in for delivery from Instacart, Amazon, local grocery services, or mail will have to pay a $6 fee per order if they are delivered to your room. This will NOt apply to anything you bring in on the Magical Express.

See the update on the Disney website noting the change:

“Please note that a $6 per package handling fee will apply to all packages that are received through the Front Desk or are delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room.”- Walt Disney World

This fee will NOT replace gratuity and should be treated as an additional expense instead of forgoing Bell Services gratuity. You can forgo the fee altogether by picking your order up from Bell Services in the lobby of the resort.

It’s time to get your Very Merry on! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets have gone on sale. Prices range from $99 to $139 per ticket. They will be held on select nights November 8th through December 22nd.

Hippity Hoppity Easter’s on its way! The Easter Bunny came early to Sprinkles Cupcakes in Disney Springs and Downtown Disney. Sprinkles Easter Candy Series has officially started now that the bunny has delivered all the sweet, yummy goodness!

Sprinkles Cupcakes have a lot of fun creating seasonal cupcakes for fans of all ages to enjoy. So, we weren’t surprised to see the amazing Sprinkles Easter Candy Series that has debuted for the month of April. These limited-time release cupcakes will feature a new offering each week.

Starting April 1-7, the first cupcake of the Sprinkles Easter Candy Series is the Robin Eggs Cupcakes. I don’t know about you, but Robin Eggs are my favorite Easter candy. The Robin Eggs Cupcake features chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and toasted coconut pressed around the edges resembling a nest. The cupcake is topped with three large candy eggs to complete the birds nest design. The Robin Eggs consist of solid chocolate with a sugar coating that melts in your mouth.

April 8-14 will offer the Jelly Bean Cupcake as the next cupcake in the Easter Candy Series. Lastly, the final cupcake in the series is the ultimate Peeps Cupcake from April 15-21. The next cupcakes in the series have not debuted yet, so we don’t have pictures but continue to check back to see these amazing cupcakes when they debut.

The Force was strong with the Brazilian runners Sunday at Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon

The Force was strong with the Brazilian runners Sunday at Walt Disney World Resort as Dicson Falcao and Aline Freitas, both from Fortaleza, Brazil, were the male and female winners, respectively, at the 13.1-mile Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon.

The victory by Falcao marked the third straight year that a Brazilian captured the popular Star Wars-themed race. Falcao, who came in second place last year, easily won this time, crossing the finish line in 1:15:25. That was nearly a minute ahead of second-place finisher Angel Reyes Adorno (1:16:21) of Puerto Rico. George Darden of Marietta, Georgia, was third (1:16:27).

Freitas also had little trouble outrunning the field. She led from wire to wire and posted a time of 1:28:22, which put her well ahead of Emily Soppe of Decatur, Georgia, who ran the course in 1:29:17 to finish second, followed by Victoria Phillippi of New Hope, Minnesota, who was third at 1:34:14.

New Ticket Center Opening In Disney Springs

Disney Springs will be getting a brand-new Disney Ticket Center located near the Disney Springs Welcome Center! This location will be able to assist guests with virtually all of their ticketing needs. Examples of services that will be offered at this location include purchasing or upgrading tickets, Annual Passes, special event tickets. The Cast Members here will also be able to assist with making dining reservations if guests need the assistance. General information regarding Walt Disney World Resort planning will be able to be obtained here if needed as well. According to Orlando Theme Park News, the new Disney Ticket Center is scheduled to open next week. The location is depicted in the photo below.

With this addition, Disney Springs will be the perfect one-stop place for dining, shopping, entertainment, and purchasing/upgrading tickets. The Disney Springs area also offers several hotel options for guests interested in staying on property as well as guests looking to stay off property. We reported earlier this week that the Extra Magic Hours and the ability to make FastPasses at the 60-day mark would continue to be offered as perks to guests staying at any of the seven Disney Springs Area Resorts in 2020.

Jessie’s Critter Carousel has Taken Over Pixar Pier

Giddy up! There’s a new cowgirl taking over out West. Jessie has lassoed up some of her favorite critter friends to join her on a fun adventure. Jessie’s Critter Carousel has taken over Pixar Pier, and it’s a fun ride you won’t want to miss.

Join Jessie and her adorable critters on Jessie’s Critter Carousel to help them save the Prospector. Located at Disney California Adventure, Pixar Pier is full of fun rides and tasty treats. Also, your favorite Pixar character meet and greets and shops. Previously Paradise Pier, Pixar Pier has been transformed into a new popular area for kids of all ages.

For those familiar with the area, Jessie’s Critter Carousel previously was King Tritons Carousel. The ride has been closed for some time while the transformation took place. It recently opened with its new theme, and it couldn’t be any cuter. Pixar took the critters from Toy Story 2 and brought them from the screen to creating life-size versions and incorporating them into a ride. The murals around the perimeter make you feel like you are part of the movie.

Jessie’s Critter Carousel isn’t the only Pixar adventure on the Pier. The always popular Toy Story Midway Mania is located next door to the carousel. In front of the carousel is the reimagined Incredicoaster, previously California Screamin’. Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind will debut in 2019 on Pixar Pier too.

Angelina Jolie Reportedly Confirmed to Play Sersei in Marvel’s ‘Eternals”

Marvel is rolling out the phases of future films in the MCU beginning this spring with Avengers: Endgame, followed by Spider-man: Far From Home this summer. In addition, they have released some details about another project in the works reportedly to include Angelina Joli.

The Eternals, a film about a secret race of superpowered beings created by the Celestials to have exceptionally long lives. There have been rumors swirling and casting news for the last few weeks, with the biggest being the announcement that Angelina Jolie will be starring in the film. There’s been a lot of speculation about who Jolies mystery MCU character would turn out to be – and now it seems we have confirmation that she is indeed playing the role of Sersi! “Jolie is understood to be playing the character named Sersi, a more outgoing Eternal who has not been afraid to movie amongst humankind.”

For those unfamiliar, Sersi is an Eternal of the fourth generation (that confusing lineage is a whole other story). She was born in Olympia, Greece, in the ancient world of Earth after the fall of Atlantis and Lemuria. She is distinct from her fellow Eternals since she actually enjoys being around humanity. She eventually leaves the hidden city of The Eternals and goes to live amongst mankind. Marvel Comics has since used Sersi’s virtually-immortal lifetime as a vehicle for having the character be tied to key points in history, such as the inspiration for part of Homer’s “The Odyssey”; sealing the evil demons trapped in Pandora’s Box; key incidents in Rome, Camelot and other such historical periods tied to both human development and the Marvel superheroes. In the modern age, Sersi has joined The Avengers, and eventually fell in love with Dane Whitman, the Black Knight. She would also go through a major period where her mind and powers were dangerously unstable, making her a threat to the team as much as an asset. She would ultimately kill herself along with rest of the Eternals, upon learning from the arrival of the Dark Celestials that The Eternals were not created to be humanity’s protectors, but instead the Celestials tool for harvesting humanity’s genetic potential.

Easter and Springtime Celebrations Are Coming to Tokyo Disney Resort. Both Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland will be hosting special Easter themed events for the first time together in two years.

Guests visiting the Tokyo Disney Resort from now and until June 2nd will be able to celebrate Easter and springtime in a fun and whimsical way at both Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland, as well as the Disney Resort Line hotels. Check out the fun and exciting things happening at Tokyo Disney Resort this Spring!

The parks have introduced new characters clled “Usapiyo” – adorable and innocient baby chicks that sport some colorful bunny ears in celebration of Easter. They are showcased in the “Tip Top Easter” show along-side Mickey and his Pals, located at the Mediterranean Harbor. Be sure to look for the “usapiyo” in the decarations near the American Waterfront and the Mediterranean Harbor.

Though the “usapiyo” are innocient enough, the “usatama” are definitely not and cause a bit of trouble in the parks. The mischiefous “usatama” egg characters have returned to Tokyo Disney Resort, and you can seen them in the “Usatama on the Run!” parade as well as in different locations through out the park decor. You can also visit Toontown for a exclusive photo opportunity of the Easter Egg Maker.

Guests will also get to enjoy an “Egg Hunt Tasting” hosted at various dining locations throughout the parks. As with every special event at the Disney Parks, themed merchandise will be available to commemorate this fanciful event, such as “Usapiyo” plush toys, colorful bunny ears, and more. Guests who visit or stay at the Disney hotels will also have the chance to purchase themed room keys, postcards, and amenities. There will also be a limited release themed day pass tickets and souvenir medallions available!

This special event is taking place at the Tokyo Disney Resort now through June 2, 2019.

Marvel Confirms Avengers: Endgame Will Be the Last Cameo From Stan Lee

Stan Lee was an American comic-book writer, editor, and publisher, who was executive vice president and publisher of Marvel Comics. Sadly, he passed away in November of 2018. One of my favorite parts of all Marvel movies has been waiting for the cameo from Stan Lee.

Lee has popped up in at least 41 Marvel movies including X-Men, Spiderman, Deadpool, and more. In addition to that, he has had cameos in several Marvel TV shows. Lee’s appearances begin back in the 2000’s with his small roles in the X-Men movies. When Stan Lee passed away last year we all thought that his cameo’s were a thing of the past. During the press tour for Endgame in India, co-director Joe Russo confirmed that Lee will have one of his famous cameos in the latest movie, but also that it will be his final one in the MCU.

Marvel surprised many fans with a cameo in the new Captain Marvel out in theaters now. Many had thought his pop in rolls were a thing of the past. Captain Marvel is still soring at the box office with over $1 billion in sales so far(and climbing). If you haven’t seen it yet, you need to go check it out before it leaves the big screen.
