2019 Easter Egg Display At Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Easter is less than one week away and there has been no shortage of breathtaking Easter Egg displays around Walt Disney World Resort! Displays can be found at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa as well as Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. There is also a display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort which is truly spectacular.

This is the 7^th annual Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The display was created by the Resort Bakery Team, led by Pastry Chef Jeff Barnes. The team was given creative freedom for their Easter egg designs. The display took over three weeks to create!

Although the eggs are edible, I personally think they are too beautiful to eat! Each chocolate egg has been hand decorated with edible products including modeling chocolate, fondant, sugar, floral, royal icing, colored cocoa butter, and sculpted sugar pieces. Even though the eggs are hollow they weigh anywhere from 2 to 40 pounds. The Easter Eggs each stand at 3 to over 25 inches tall!

Disney Isn’t Done With Deadpool! We Will See More from Mr. Pool and Ryan Reynolds in the Future

Many fans of Deadpool have been nervous about the Disney/Fox merger as it seemed that our rated R friend was going to be shelved for more PG-rated films once the merger took place. Disney hardly seems the place to make an R rated film so it seemed that Mr. Pool was all but a thing of the past. However, it seems that it has been confirmed that there are no plans to retire the Deadpool franchise! As a matter of fact, we may see more of it very soon! Disney confirmed at the recent Cinemacon that Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, will be featured in future movies!

“You’ll be seeing more of Deadpool in the years to come”

Disney chairman Alan Horn said, assuring consumers over the beloved character. Ryan is a brilliant actor who has brought laughter on and off the screen. He is already a Disney fan and has been welcomed by both actors in the Disney and Marvel Universe with open arms.

The 2016 film “Deadpool” grossed $783 million worldwide while its 2018 sequel “Deadpool 2″ grossed $785 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. The first “Deadpool” was the highest-grossing R-rated film ever, and the biggest box office success for Fox since “Avatar.”

“There are clear upsides and intrigue around a potential meet-up between Deadpool and the Avengers, but it shouldn’t be done just because they can”

said Shawn Robbins, chief analyst for Boxoffice.com. “Disney doesn’t have any pressing need to mix Deadpool into their existing universe because it’s proven enormously successful without him, and he without it. A managed coexistence could be just as or more lucrative.”

“We do believe there is room for the Fox properties to exist without significant Disney influence over the nature of the content, meaning that we see that there is certainly popularity amongst Marvel fans for the R-rated Deadpool films, as a for instance. We’re going to continue in that business, and there might be room for more of that.”

Iger continued: “There’s nothing that we’ve really seen in the Fox either library or in the activities that Fox is engaging in today from a standards perspective that would be of concern to us as long as we’re very carefully branding them and making sure that we’re not in any way confusing the consumer with product that would be sort of either Disney product or the more traditional Marvel product.”

The Sweet Disney Obsessed Collection Is Now On shopDisney

Not too long ago we discovered the new Disney Obsessed Collection at the local Disney Store, and of course immediately fell in love. One of the questions we kept getting was when will it show up online? Well good news, because it’s now available on shopDisney, with even more delicious choices.

This tasty collection includes an assortment of fabulous Disney finds inspired by Donuts and Avocados! A palette of soft pinks, blues, and greens bring this adorable collection to life with decor, kitchen goods, and apparel that’s so cute you’ll have to resist taking a bit!

We had seen a lot of frosted Mickey and Minnie Donut items at the store, but just check out all of the new avocado offerings! I know there’s a lot of avocado obsessed Disney fans out there, and this is definitely a treat for them! The way to creamy green pops against the cotton candy pink is simply perfection too.

There’s even a nod to Avocado toast with the fun Mickey and Minnie avo pin set!

The rest of the collection is an adorable mix of frosted pinks and blues. Sprinkles and frosting top off donut inspirations for apparel, stationary, and some really fun mugs. This half of the collection speaks to me because it’s all about Disney and Caffeine, both which keep me going throughout the day!

The Clone Wars is Set to Returns on Disney+ With a Focus on Ashoka

The Clone Wars is Set to Returns on Disney+ With a Focus on Ashoka. The popular animated series was thought to have ended for good in 2012 with the purchase of Lucasfilm by Disney, but has been revived by Disney and set to release on Disney+.

The Clone Wars followed Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ashoka Tano, a Padawan to Anakin Skywalker before his turn to the dark side of The Force. Last we saw Ashoka left the Jedi Temple and her training and then she reappeared years later in Star Wars: Rebels, another animated series by Lucasfilm.

The new season will follow Ashoka as she reunites with her friends and colleagues through a series of action packed adventures, even with the return of a previously thought dead villian.

“Ahsoka, we see her in Rebels and she has come so far,” said Ashley Eckstein, who voices Ashoka. “We had to go back to that place where she still had so much to learn. She’s a bit lost. She just walked away from the Jedi Order, and she’s just going wherever the wind takes her.”

This new trailer was revealed during the Star Wars Celebration by Dave Filoni, an executive with Lucasfilm.

“The reason why it works is because I was taught by the master. I was taught by George,” he said. “I had to sit with him on a regular basis, and he explained these stories to me. And I listened. For any young person who wants to be in film, or any walk of life, when you meet somebody who is more experienced or a mentor, you should listen.”

We can’t wait to see Ashoka and the gang in action once again when Disney+ launches on November 12.

At Tokyo Disneyland, the theme for this summer is the new hot special event “Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer” running from Tuesday 9^th July to Sunday 1^st September! For this event, Donald and his friends will appear during the nighttime stage show to perform in front of Cinderella Castle, for the first time in six years! The summer show called “O! Summer Banzai!” will feature new entertainment full of splashes, fun costumes, music, dance and hot burning flames against a backdrop of a colourful jungle!

During “Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer”, guests will have the chance to meet the awesome duo Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Disney’s animated classic “Zootopia/ Zootropolis”! The duo will lead a daytime entertainment called “Judy and Nick’s Jumpin’ Splash” with bright and lively music such as the movie’s familiar song “Trying Everything”. Guests can enjoy refreshing entertainment with plenty of splashes perfect for the hot summer!

What better way to celebrate the summer at Tokyo Disneyland than with spectacularly colourful decorations throughout the park! The park’s entrance will be based upon the jungle, in keeping with the new summer entertainment.

To further celebrate the summer season at Tokyo Disneyland, guests have access to 80 kinds of special edition merchandise celebrating “Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer” perfect for that summer heat! There will be a variety of merchandise from t-shirts, shorts to plush badges- perfect for guests of all ages! There will also be bracelet chemical lights which shines at night. In addition, there will also be other Donald themed merchandise like Donald Duck pillows and tissue boxes.

12 special menus will appear for guests from July 8^th.A mouthwatering menu which is dynamically inspired by fire and water just in time to enjoy during “Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer”.The hot dog with vegetable sauce in red buns will be sold at the refreshment corner, featuring a wild menu inspired by a flame. “Boilroom Bites”, blue syrup, “Good Time Cafe in Huey Dewey Louie”, raspberry syrup, “Captain Fuchs Galley”, lemon syrup, creating colourful and cute looking drinks each for 380 yen, perfect to quench your thirst during the heat! Desserts will also be on sale in a souvenir cup with a Donald Duck motif, and desserts with a souvenir plate, special set for 960 yen.

Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo DisneySea will also host a special event, “Disney Pirates Summer” based upon the swashbuckling Disney movie “Pirates of the Caribbean”. “Disney Pirates Summer” will be running from Tuesday 9^th July to Sunday 1^st September. A new show is also appearing during this season called “Pirates Summer Battle”, where guests can enjoy a great battle between legendary pirates Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa and get totally wet in the process!

Under the guidance of instructors, Mediterranean Harbor will also conduct participatory atmosphere entertainment allowing guests to turned into pirates. Inviting guests to meet unique pirates alongside their favourite, Captain Jack Sparrow!

In keeping with Tokyo DisneySea, the Mediterranean harbour will be transformed into the world of pirates full of black and red! There will be photo opportunities with pirate ships and flags to celebrate your pirate adventure!

To celebrate Disney ToykoSea’s “Disney Pirates Summer” there will be special edition merchandise of around 70 different items including t-shirt, bath towels, Disney pirate ear hats and wristbands based upon the Disney movie “Pirates of the Caribbean”. The Disney Resort Line will sell tickets designed with special images to celebrate Tokyo Disneyland’s special event “Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer” and Tokyo DisneySea’s special event “Disney Pirates Summer” available at the automatic ticket vending machines at each station.

A summer event will be held from the end of July at Ikspiari, a commercial facility in front of Maihama Station.
