Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Day-to-Night Itinerary

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is now open without a reservation at Disneyland Park! Check out this day-to-night Galaxy’s Edge itinerary to get the most out of your visit to Batuu!

Firstly, reservations are required for Oga’s Cantina and Savi’s Workshop and the lines have been LONG! You can make your reservation as early at 7am the morning of your visit. Don’t forget to check the Disneyland app and/or signs in Disneyland Park to know if the digital queue is operating the day of your visit.

Next, head to Ronto Roasters for breakfast. The Ronto Morning Wrap is your best bet! It includes scrambled eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheese, and peppercorn sauce wrapped in a delicious pita.

After the most important meal of the day, take a walk through the Black Spire Outpost Marketplace. Here you can haggle with vendors, check out the latest Batuuan styles, and purchase a new pet from the Creature Stall.

Now onto the exciting stuff! Climb aboard the “fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy” on Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Ride the adrenaline rush and hurry over to the Droid Depot. You can pick custom pieces and parts off of a conveyor belt to construct your own BB-series or R-series astromech.

You will surely need a drink after all of these exciting activities so stop by the Milk Stand. The Blue and Green Milks are delicious, frozen concoctions with hints of fruity accents.

Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is the place to go. Try the smoked Kaadu ribs or Fried Endorian Tip-yip for dinner and a Batuu-bon for dessert!

Make sure to have the Play Disney Parks mobile app on your phone when you visit Batuu. The app will transform your phone into a personal Star Wars: Datapad when you enter Galaxy’s Edge. You will be able to scan hidden contents in containers, translate languages, and hear communications happening throughout the land.

Beaches and Cream Renovation Pushed Back

Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort was scheduled to close for refurbishment from early August until December. However, it seems now you can continue to book reservations through August 25th of this year. This is almost a full 3 weeks later than originally scheduled.

If you wanted to visit the soda shop during your August trip make your reservations now!

New Toy Story Slippers With A Fun And Playful Twist

I absolutely love slippers, in fact my whole family does. Having cute characters, and stylish designs is always a must too. So when I stumbled upon these new Toy Story Slippers from Happy Feet, that have a playful twist, I was immediately in love.

“Zlipperz” are like slippers, but with a twist. Zlipperz, are a zip on, zip off interchangeable slipper. Four tops and two bottoms come with each set, and gives you up to 3 potential design combos by mixing and matching the 4 tops. They are also for kids AND adults, so us big kids can have slipper fun too. They are also from Happy Feet Slippers, and have the same soft pillowy feel!

My son is obsessed with Forky, so we instantly fell in love with this mix and match pair. One set of tops features Bonnie’s new favorite toy Forky, while the other set has a fun geometric print featuring all of the Toys.

Bo Peep even gets her own pair of Zlipperz! This set has a sassy pink and black color scheme, and offers a Bo Peep print, and a print featuring several Toy Story favorites.

New Experiences At Aulani Resort's Rainbow Reef

Guests of Disney’s Aulani Resort can experience plenty of activities on the beautiful island of O’ahu. A popular guest spot to enjoy up close encounters with thousands of tropical fish, is Aulani’s Rainbow Reef. Now, guests of the resort will have two new experiences to check out at the reef.

The first experience is the Underwater Explorers program. This allows guests to snorkel with all the colorful marine life at Rainbow Reef. This two hour long activity includes a safety and a diving lesson. As you take a swim in the man-made lagoon, you experience high-visibility, safe, and current-free waters. Underwater Explorers are provided with masks, wet suits, and fins. Explorers will also receive a complimentary flask and Rainbow Reef fish identification card to keep. As you swim among the tangs and butterfly fish, discover the mysteries of the Hidden Menehune, or little people of the islands. The special Underwater Explorers experience is offered to guests at least 10 years of age for $189.00.

Second, is the Rainbow Reef Fish Feeding Experience. After exploring the crystal clear waters, learn all about the tropical fish that inhabit the Rainbow Reef. Aulani’s animal biologists are there to help introduce all guests to the special marine life under the water. There’s much to learn about the different species and what each species likes to eat. After you’ve gained all the knowledge about the fish, it’s time to feed them! The Rainbow Reef Fish Feeding Experience is a fifteen minute encounter that is only $7 per guest.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Capacity Within 1 Hours of Opening

Today Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened to the public for the first time without reservation. Not surprisingly, the park was at capacity within one hour of opening. One HOUR… Guests were turned away and asked to come back another day with their party to visit the new land.

In the first 55 mins they closed off entry to the park even after opening 30 mins earlier than originally planned. Wait times for the ride reached up to 3 hours but eventually did go down to just a 40-minute wait.

The Golden Girls Get Re-Imagined As Disney Princesses. First we showed you Keanu Reeves as the Disney Princes, now we found something even better.

Fans of the long running TV Show, The Golden Girls, will be excited to see Sophia, Rose, Blanche, and Dorothy, but this time as the 2-Dimension Disney Princesses. Buzzfeed‘s Alicia Herber is the talented artist behind these spot-on illustrations of the wise and wise cracking Golden Girls from the popular ABC series from the late 80’s early 90’s.

The Golden Girls was an iconic TV show that touched on a lot of topics that were still considered taboo for television at the time, but has had a resurgence and is garnishing more fans than ever before.

Photos from “Black Widow” Set May Reveal New Character and Potential Spoilers! If the title wasn’t enough of a warning here is your SPOILER ALERT!

It’s Marvel Studios best-worst kept secret, of course we are referring to the untitled “Black Widow” Movie currently in production.

The film has yet to be officially announced by the Studio, but it’s hard to deny the rumors at this point. Especially since the release of some telling photos that recently surfaced via Twitter. Here is your final chance to prevent any sort of spoiler for the new film by Marvel Studios, rumored to premiere on May 1, 2020.

At first glance these photos look rather innocent, but closer observation reveals some interesting details about the untitled “Black Widow” film. Let’s delve deeper.

ComicBook.com noticed some peculiar details about the photos. The first photo shows two tall boxes that are labeled “Natasha”, referring to Scarlett Johannson‘s character Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff, and “Yelena”. Yelena is a new character to the MCU and will be portrayed by Johannson’s co-star, Florence Pugh.

Yelena Belova is a character from Marvel Comics who takes up the mantel of Black Widow and shares a similar back story to Natasha. Yelena was a former member of the KGB turned secret agent, and on occasion acted as a villain in the comics. Yelena even spent some time with the Avengers in Natasha’s stead as Black Widow and has been considered to be on the same level as Natasha in reference to her abilities and skills.

The second photo from the Twitter post by @R0CKYSY0UTH, shows what appears to be Johannson and Pugh riding a motorcycle, but in reality those are well constructed stunt dummies of the two actresses. The stunt dummies were transported to this shoot inside the boxes from the first photo and are being used in place of the actresses.

It’s rather common to use either body or stunt doubles when an actor or actress does not have any lines for a specific scene, or if the scene is dubbed too dangerous for the actor, or actress. They are also used for preventing injuries to the cast so production can run on schedule and without incident.

Though the official announcement has yet to be made, it seems a little silly that Marvel won’t fess up to the films production at this point. More than likely an announcement will be made during or after the premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home and the theatrical re-release of Avengers: Endgame, we may even get to see some early footage from the film in an infamous Marvel movie post credit scene.

The Simpsons are coming to the D23 Expo!

Hear ye Hear ye. We have great news for Simpsons Fans!

The longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, The Simpsons, makes its first appearance at D23 Expo. Get insight on the upcoming all-new season in a lively panel Saturday, August 24 at 10 a.m. in the D23 Expo Arena with Creator Matt Groening, Executive Producer Al Jean, Executive Producer Matt Selman, Supervising Director Mike B. Anderson, and stars Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith. Expect lots of surprises, including an exclusive Simpsons collectible item for everyone in attendance.

The Simpsons exploded into a cultural phenomenon in 1990 and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world. Recently finishing its historic 30th season, The Simpsons has won 33 Emmy^® Awards, 34 Annie Awards, 9 Environmental Media Awards, 7 People’s Choice Awards and 12 Writers Guild of America Awards including the 2019 Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program Award. It was the first animated series to win a Peabody Award and was nominated for an Academy Award^® in 2012 for the theatrical short “The Longest Daycare.” The Simpsons Movie was a hit feature film, the mega-attraction The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios has received historic expansion updates with the addition of “Springfield,” and the show was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2000.
