A Guide to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

As one of the most talked about attractions coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge it’s no wonder fans want to know more about Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.  The new ride combines immersive storytelling with interactive game play which allows guest to become protagonists of their own Star Wars adventures.

As the most famous of all of the Star Wars star ships, this vessel is often called a “piece of junk” or “bucket of bolts”, but the ship built in the land is far from that!  Guests who are 38 inches or taller can climb aboard the Millennium Falcon after Chewbacca brought the Falcon to the Black Spire Outpost for repairs where he loans the Falcon to Hondo Ohnaka in exchange for replacement parts.  As a result, a smuggler is now making good use of the ship with your help.

Hondo Ohnaka is a business owner of a business called Ohnaka Transport Solutions.  Guests meet Hondo in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers run where he needs extra flight crews to make a few runs for him.  Hondo is looking for a crew that won’t ask too many questions about the cargo or how he acquired it.

If you accept your quest you then enter the Falcon via an access hatch on the ship’s starboard airlock.  Once aboard, guests spend time in the main hold and lounge where they can explore the equipment in the room or sit at the famous Dejarik (chess) table.

Your mission is about to begin!  Strap your crew of six into the Falcon cockpit where you are assigned one of three critical roles to complete the mission.  Guests are assigned the role of Pilot (2) where two guests work together to steer the ship, Gunners (2) who use blasters and missiles to defend the Falcon and its precious cargo, or Flight Engineer (2) who keep the Falcon from falling apart on the mission by managing the ship’s systems, repairing damage and taking control of the “special modifications” Hondo installed.

Pilots! start up the Falcon and make the jump to light speed to start your mission!  While on your mission be ready to listen for Hondo Ohnaka and Chewbacca as they help guide you along on your mission.  At the end of the mission, Hondo will inform guests on how well they accomplished their objectives.  Good luck aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run during your mission!
