Menu for Hakuna Matata: Savannah Delights Released

Disneyland Paris announced a new dining experience coming to Hakuna Matata restaurant during the Lion King and Jungle Festival… called Hakuna Matata: Savannah Delights! The dining experience promises culinary delights full of mouthwatering flavours surrounding guests in an African atmosphere with familiar faces such as Rafiki and Mickey! This experience is also included in the Signature Experience package The Lion King!

Disneyland Paris has just released the full menu board for the Hakuna Matata experience: Savannah Delights!

The Menu

Hakuna Matata Restuarant will be open from 11 am to 3 pm and boast foods such as Yassa sauce chicken, broken rice, plantain bananas, beef balls, sautéed shrimp, raw vegetable salad and sweet and sour peanuts.

For dessert, the Lion King inspired lunch will offer a Simba ice cream cone with exotic fruits! Alternatively, please note that a fruit salad is offered as a dessert in the Vegan menu.

Regarding half boards, Premium coupons can be used for this experience. Other coupons can be used as monetary value to pay for a part of it, the balance will need to be paid at the restaurant.

The Characters

During the Hakuna Matata: Savannah Delights, guests will be able to greet two amazing characters, Rafiki from The Lion King and Mickey Mouse in his explorer outfit made specifically for The Lion King & Jungle Festival!

Buffalo Chicken Loaded Fries Are A Home Run At Casey’s Corner

Batter up! There’s a new snack item at Casey’s Corner and Disney’s Magic Kingdom and we got to try them. The Buffalo Chicken Loaded Fries are the latest side to hit the field. Casey’s Corner has been trying some new menus items lately (let’s not talk about the chicken corn dog nuggets) and these are the latest.

These Buffalo Chicken Loaded Fries have large pieces of buffalo chicken, diced celery, garlic zesty ranch, and fiery cheese dust. This was a nice portion size for the price of $6.49 plus tax and was a snack credit on the dining plan. Even though it’s marked as a snack credit this could be a great small meal if you have other dining reservations later in the day. There was a generous amount of chicken and plenty of fries. However, if you’re not one for hot and spicy this isn’t the dish for you. The combo of the buffalo chicken and the fiery cheese dust (red hot Cheetos) make this an eye-watering snack.

The Buffalo Chicken Loaded Fries are one of many new changes that have been seen at Casey’s Corner lately. They have added a plant-based hot dog and tried to switch over their famous corn dog nuggets. They didn’t say how long this new item would last or if it’s a permanent menu change. Stars, Stripes And Smiles This 4th Of July At Disneyland Resort

The Fourth of July is right around the corner, and Disneyland Resort is gearing up to celebrate America with fireworks, new merchandise, and delicious food!

Show your patriotism around the resort with new merchandise including t-shirts, dresses, light-up necklaces, Minnie ears and the famous spirit jersey!! Everything you need for that Instagram shot in front of the blue wall am i right?

Hurry up and get everything you need! They’ll be available for a limited time only at Emporium and Pioneer Mercantil in Disneyland Resort; at Elias & Co. in Disney’s California Adventure; and World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.

Once you have your outfit ready, you can’t forget to take a picture with Mickey Mouse in his patriotic costume! You can find him in Town Square from 8am until 3:30pm on July 4th.

After shopping and pictures the next obvious step is food! Luckily for you, you’ll be able to find a variety of delicious snacks like a Red, White & Blue Cake Shake at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, a 4th of July Box of patriotic cupcakes at Sprinkles and Berry Ice Creams at Salt & Straw, as well as, a Frozen Cherry Boba Lemonade at Wetzel’s Pretzels and the Firecracker Cocktail at Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

An Independence Day celebration can’t be complete without fireworks!! “Disney’s Celebrates America – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will illuminate the night with lights and sounds of patriotic songs.

Other resort offerings are:

BBQ at the rooftop at The Sand Bar in Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel on July 4th from 3-10pm. Enjoy live music starting at 6pm followed by fireworks from Disneyland Park at 9:30pm. The special menu will feature short rib brisket burgers, all-beef hot dogs, street corn on the cob and specialty drinks. Complimentary family activities and face painting are also in store. Subject to availability. This offer does not require a hotel reservation.
Family activities,live music, complimentary face painting, caricatures and tasty delights will be offered to hotel guest of all ages at the Magic Kingdom Lawn in the Disneyland Hotel on July 4th from 12-4pm. Subject to availability.

New Lion King Merchandise Roaring Into Animal Kingdom

Roaring into Animal Kingdom is a new assortment of Lion King Merchandise. This wild new collection of offerings has arrived just in time to commemorate the release of the new live action Lion King film on July 19th. You can find apparel, toys, and even accessories inspired by the Lion King now at Animal Kingdom.

A fun assortment of t-shirts inspired by the Lion King can be found, with character styles inspired by the new film. These beautiful shirts evoke the essence of the Pride Lands that our beloved Lion King friends roam.

Be on the hunt for the “Lion King” Funko Pop collection roaming around! Rafiki, Simba, Scar, Pumba, and Timon will be available soon at select Animal Kingdom locations.

There is a stunning new “One True King” MagicBand coming soon. This band will debut at Animal Kingdom on the same day as the movie premiere, July 19th.

Will Smith Announces Aladdin as the Highest Grossing Film of His Career. Aladdin is still going strong in the box office and hit a major milestone this week for actor, Will Smith, who plays a new take on the lovable character, Genie, in the live action remake.

In an emotional video, Will Smith shared the news that Aladdin had officially surpassed Independence Day as the highest grossing film of his career. Smith posted the touching video via his verified Instagram account, @willsmith.

“This is a post that I’m just humbled and honored to make right now….To be in this game as long as I’ve been in this game and to have my biggest movie at this point of my career, I just want to say thank you,” shared a grateful and teary eyed Will Smith in the Instagram video, before proceeding to say thanks in as many languages as he could remember. “Just thank you, everybody, around the world, thank you, thank you. Who I miss?”

Aladdin currently sits at over $875 million globally and will likely see another bump over the holiday. Will Smith has even more to look forward to with the release of several films in the next few months including Gemini Man (October), Spies in Disguise (December), and Bad Boys for Life (January).

Congratulations to the whole cast and crew of Aladdin on such a successful film, and congratulations to Will Smith on this major milestone in his career!

Club Cool in Epcot Closing this fall

Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot Closing this fall

Epcot will be closing the character Meet & Greets at the Epcot Character Spot this September.

During the exciting transformation of Epcot, Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot will temporarily close—beginning on September 8, 2019. Guests will be able to meet their favorite characters at other locations throughout Epcot.

Mickey and Goofy will be moving to Innoventions West temporarily until space is made for them in the Imagination Pavilion
Daisy Duck will be moving to Epcot’s American Adventure
Minnie Mouse will be moving to the Gazebo in World Showcase

No information for Joy & Sadness & Baymax has been released yet.

Ample Hills and Marvel Team Up for New Ice Cream Flavors. As Marvel moves into its 80th anniversary, Ample Hills Creamery is celebrating by introducing 3 new ice cream flavors based off Marvel superheroes: Spider-Man, Captain America, and Black Panther.
