New Images and Trailer for Disney’s Live Action Lion King
Check out the new images for Disney’s “The Lion King” featuring voice talent with their characters—available for the first time today. Images include Donald Glover with Simba; Beyoncé Knowles-Carter with Nala; John Oliver, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner with Zazu, Pumbaa and Timon; Chiwetel Ejiofor with Scar; Alfre Woodard with Sarabi; Eric André, Florence Kasumba and Keegan-Michael Key with hyenas Azizi, Shenzi and Kamari; and Shahadi Wright Joseph and JD McCrary with Young Nala and Young Simba.
Also revealed today is a new featurette about the movie with never-before-seen footage from the film, a glimpse behind the scenes during recording sessions, plus comments from director Jon Favreau and members of the voice cast. There’s a 2319 Cone at Magic Kingdom
There is a brand new cone that has just been released at Magic Kingdom! The “2319 Cone” has replaced the Up! Cone at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies! The new cone is a mango vanilla soft serve with orange sugar sprinkles and a frosted sugar cookie on top of an orange cone.
The 2319 Cone is $5.99 plus tax or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

This is the Year of the Ear and this summer the party will continue at Hollywood Studios for Florida Residents. Residents can celebrate 30 years of history and excitement with special discoveries.
Florida residents can now get a special 4-day Get Your Ears On Ticket for only $55 per day plus tax. In addition, guests can embrace their inner Super Hero and join a limited-time Incredibles dance party through September 30, 2019. While you are dancing, be sure to stop into Edna Mode’s Super-Suit Gallery, but NO CAPES!
Once you had an Incredible time head over to the world of Monsters, Inc. for a meet and greet with the famous duo, Mike and Sulley!
Guests can also celebrate the release of “Toy Story 4” over in Toy Story Land by visiting Bo Peep in her new outfit, Woody, Buzz, and Jessie! Plus, guests can even meet Bo Peep in her new outfit while wearing her new two-piece outfit and handbag available for purchase.
For the little ones that are also visiting Hollywood Studios for Florida Residents can also enjoy a dance party featuring Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Timon and Mickey! The high-energy musical celebration show allows guests of all ages to show off their special dance moves with their favorite characters. After the party, guests can meet Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and Doc McStuffins in the Animation Courtyard.
Lastly, guests can end the night with a viewing of “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” as some of the most “iconic movie moments” appear on the Chinese Theater in front of you.

In May Disney announced the new Disney Parks Designer Collection, a series of very limited edition ears by designers, artists, and imagineers. The second release will be the stunning Alex and Ani Minnie Ears, that will release July 5th, along side special launch event in Disney Springs.
These lux golden colored ears will debut July 5th at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and online at shopDisney. These Minnie ears can definitely be called fancy! These metal ears are delicate and elegant, and even have a hair comb attached like a tiara! That is exactly what these ears remind me of too, a graceful princess tiara. The classic vibe of Alex and Ani has been woven into these ears flawlessly. I’ll admit I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect when I first heard about the Alex and Ani ears, which made the reveal a fabulous surprise.
The power of positivity that Alex and Ani always strives to bring to their jewelry is even present on this new headband. Quotes from Pocahontas are engraved in a delicate script on each side of the headband. Beneath each quote is their signature heart logo. These stunning ears will retail for $178.00 when they launch on July 5th.

Chocolate Extreme Shake Lives Up to It’s Name
This chocolate extreme shake is exactly what the name claims so chocolate lovers unite! Beware, a reservation at The Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom is necessary to be able to enjoy this special treat.
It is a chocolate shake topped with a glazed doughnut, kiddie-sized chocolate ice cream cone, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and a Mickey marshmallow. All of this garnished with extra chocolate sauce and chocolate chips held to the cup by frosting. Yes, you can get a sugar coma just reading about it but the shake is so good.
Bring a friend because this shake is huge! More advice would be to make a reservation during the hottest time of day and plan to eat it from the top. Ask for extra plates and spoons too. This is most likely a limited time offering so make sure to reserve a spot soon. Call ahead for availability if your goal is to consume this sugary cup of goodness on your next visit.

Zoe Saldana Discusses the Future of Gamora with the Guardians of the Galaxy
Zoe Saldana Discusses the Future of Gamora with the Guardians of the Galaxy. With Gamora’s fate currently unknown at the end of Avengers: Endgame, there are several paths her character could take, but an even scarier thought is, is Gamora even alive?
Where’s Gamora? Who’s Gamora? and WHY is Gamora? After the events of Avengers: Endgame these are serious questions that we need the answers too, but sadly may not find out until the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
During a panel at ACE Comic Con in Seattle Zoe Saldana was asked about her thoughts on Gamora in regards to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
“It all depends. The technical answer is it all depends on what Marvel and James Gunn desire to do with the Guardians and with Gamora’s fate,” Zoe said. “I would eventually, there’s a part of me that wants her to go back, find her way back to the Guardians but there’s also a part of me that wants to explore a bad Gamora. I’ve never seen that and she’s, you know, she’s considered the most lethal assassin, the most lethal woman in the galaxy so I would want to see what that wrath looks like also because it would just give me layers to sort of work on. But yeah, I want her to get back to the Guardians.”
The cruelest comments about Gamora’s potential future come from Avengers: Endgame Directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, during an interview with FOX 5’s Kevin McCarthy.
“The argument could be that Tony wished away all the evil,” Joe Russo mentioned. “Was she evil or just the enemy? Is she still alive? Who knows, that’s a story for another time.”Anthony echoed the statement by asking, “If Tony wanted to get rid of Thanos and his entire army, was she still part of his army?”
Yikes! Hopefully Gamora had simply wandered off after the snap and decided to figure some things out on her own before she is either found or decides to return to the Guardians. We agree with Zoe Saldana about the idea of seeing how Gamora would act since this version of her character was only seen briefly in the first GotG film. We may finally get the chance to see how ruthless and “bad” she can really be without the influence of her friends to guide her.

WDW Monorail Silver Upgrade
Walt Disney World’s Monorail System just got an update, specifically, the Silver Monorail.
The Silver Monorail received a much needed makeover. The exterior received a new silver wrap, giving it a more modern updated look. As for the interior, the monorail car also had new seats. Instead of the classic monorail blue seats that’s guests are familiar with, in their place are new silver ones. Continuing with the monochromatic theme, are new decals reading Monorail Silver. Maybe the other monorails will get makeovers too. Only time will tell.
In the meantime, guests can travel between parks and resorts using the Monorail System. The resort monorail makes stops at the Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and the Transportation and Ticket Center. The Epcot Monorail and Express Monorail offer guests one way trips to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom.
This isn’t the only new mode of transportation that’s come to the Walt Disney World Resort. Soon the up and coming Skyliner will make its appearance in the sky along with the monorail.

Josh Brolin Wants to Play Cable in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Josh Brolin Wants to Play Cable in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the acquisition of Fox by Disney, the rights to Deadpool and affiliated characters now belong to the mouse, so Josh Brolin’s wish just might come true.
Brolin has the best of both worlds in this instance. Though his reign as Mad Titan Thanos may be over, his time with Marvel is not. Josh Brolin excellently played both Thanos in the MCU and the “villain” Cable in Deadpool 2, while the Deadpool franchise was owned by Fox. After the Disney-Fox Merger, Disney and Marvel Studios now own the rights to the future Deadpool films.
It seems Josh is willing to make the most of this situation and continue playing the mutant mercenary Cable, only this time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Wait, Disney bought Fox?!” Brolin replied as a joke. “I don’t know what’s going to happen. I’m actually, I’ve been calling them, like, ‘What’s the deal with Cable, man?’ Seriously, 100 percent serious. They’re figuring it out. It’s a big world now, it just got much, much bigger. So who knows.”
Disney and Marvel Studios have stated that there are plans to continue making Deadpool films, and are even willing to keep the R-rated material included after the deal was struck between the two entertainment conglomerates. With Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool willing to team up with Domino and Cable at the end of Deadpool 2 for more action packed adventures, there is a chance that Marvel will also choose to bring DP’s new found teammates along with him should he make his way into the MCU.
As the two Marvel worlds collide, in what will be a cinematic spectacle you won’t want to miss, it would ease the transition to have a familiar face on the screen. I mean, the 4th wall breaking Thanos/Cable jokes Deadpool is bound to say practically write themselves at this point. Though there is no promise for the future of the X-Men, other than the potential for a reboot of the series by Marvel Studios, it may be some time before the studio confirms any plans to introduce the characters from Deadpool or X-Men into the MCU directly.
So we will just have to put on our crocs and assemble some IKEA furniture while we wait to hear more about the future of the “merc with a mouth” and his foe-turned-friend.

It is no secret that Disney has some of the best restaurants and food choices available, so it should be no surprise that they were also recently voted best amusement park restaurants.
Recently, a panel of experts collaborated with USA Today’s 10 Best editors who picked the initial 20 nominees. Once selected, the top 10 best amusement park restaurants were determined by popular vote.
