Zachary Levi Says He Would Be Too Old To Play Flynn Rider In A Live-Action ‘Tangled’

Tangled

Zachary Levi Says He Would Be Too Old To Play Flynn Rider In A Live-Action ‘Tangled‘. Much to Tangled fans dismay, Zachary Levi, the infamous voice of Flynn Rider, aka Eugene Fitzherbert, believes he would be “too old” to play the swashbuckling debonair if Disney decides to make a live-action remake of the 2010 Disney Classic.

Zachary Levi Says He Would Be Too Old To Play Flynn Rider In A Live-Action 'Tangled'

“As much as I would love to play Flynn Rider in a live-action Tangled, by the time they get around to that, I don’t think I’m gonna be the right guy to play that role [laughs]. I’ll be there coaching that guy, I’ll make sure he understands what that smolder means, but I think my hair will be like Steve Martin white by the time they do a live-action Tangled,” stated the 38 year-old actor. Jokingly, Levi continued, “So in lieu of playing Flynn Rider in a live-action Tangled, I would say, I don’t know… Ariel from The Little Mermaid, maybe.”

Though we would love to see Zachary’s best Flynn Rider smolder in real life, it appears Zach believes a younger actor would be better suited for the role of Rapunzel’s love interest if Disney decided to create a live-action remake of Tangled.

Zachary Levi has played the voice of Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert in Tangled, Tangled: Ever After, Tangled: Before Ever After, Tangled The Series, and in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Who do you think would make a great Flynn Rider? Could they get his nose right? Would you like to see a live-action remake of Tangled? Be sure to share your ideas in the comments and check back here at Chip and Company for all things Disney!

Creative Control Over Deadpool and X-Men Franchises Officially Given to Kevin Feige

Creative Control Over Deadpool and X-Men Franchises Officially Given to Kevin Feige

Creative Control Over Deadpool and X-Men Franchises Officially Given to Kevin Feige. Though the Disney-Fox merger became official in the spring, the merger has been rather slow going as the two companies figure out what and who will stay and go.

Fox Studios head, Emma Watts, had been rumored to leave the studio once creative control over her projects was released to Marvel Studios, but a recent report by Deadline says in exchange for the loss of the Marvel based franchises, Deadpool and X-Men, Watts would now oversee the Avatar films for the studio. This exchange seems to be a happy medium for all parties involved and Watts has decided to stay with Fox Studio for the time being.

Creative Control Over Deadpool and X-Men Franchises Officially Given to Kevin Feige

Marvel fans will be excited to know that Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, is excited to incorporate characters such as Deadpool, Fantastic Four, and the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

“I’m extremely excited about those characters and about bringing Marvel’s First Family up to the platform and the level that they deserve,” Feige said.

“The truth is, I’m excited for all of them. I’m excited, and it’s not just the marquee names you know — there are hundreds of names on those documents, on those agreements,” Feige stated while at the Golden Globes. “And the fact that Marvel is as close as we may ever get now to having access to all of the characters, is something I’ve been dreaming about for my almost 20 years at Marvel. And it’s very exciting.”

Marvel Studios has not shared any official plans for how they will introduce the characters into the MCU, or if the current casts of said franchises will stay in those roles or be recast. The only consistent information has been the expressed awareness that Marvel Studios wishes for Ryan Reynold’s to remain as the “Merc with a mouth” Deadpool. Other stars, such as Josh Brolin, have shared their willingness to play along in the merger with Disney and keep their roles.

Mickey-Shaped Donuts No Longer Included in Dining Plan

Mickey-Shaped Donuts

The gigantic, delicious Mickey-shaped donuts will no longer be eligible for the Disney Dining Plan.

These donuts were sold at a variety of places around the Magic Kingdom for $8.99 OR a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit. This was an awesome deal considering most of the other Snack Credit options cost somewhere between $2.00-$5.00.

Foodie’s and donut-lovers alike should also be aware that the Mickey-shaped donuts have moved locations. The vanilla and chocolate donuts are moving to the Main Street Bakery. The strawberry donuts are moving to the Cheshire Cafe.

Finally, donuts will sadly no longer be sold at the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland either.

Disneyland Ticket Prices 5,060% More Expensive Compared to 1955

Disneyland Ticket Prices 5,060% More Expensive Compared to 1955

A new study shows that Disneyland ticket prices have risen more than 5,000% since opening in 1955.

Play Like Mum, a mommy blog in the United Kingdom, studied the increasing costs of Disneyland admission prices over the past 60 years.

In 1955, a one-day ticket to Disneyland was only $2.50. A one-day park ticket today coasts $129. This is a 5,060% increase!

I am sure that we can all agree that the experience in the 1950’s and the experience at Disneyland today cannot be compared. In 1955, Disneyland only had one theme park with 33 attractions. Disneyland now includes two theme parks, three on-site hotels, and shopping and entertainment hub – the Downtown Disney District

Here’s what Disneyland officials had to say about the study:

“Our pricing reflects a full-day of family entertainment with world-class attractions and experiences. Over time, our pricing model has evolved, providing guests with a variety of ticket offerings to meet their needs, while helping us to spread visitation, better manage demand and deliver a great experience, like our new 14-acre Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.”

And I know what you’re thinking: INFLATION. But when you adjust for inflation, the $2.50 ticket in 1955 would still equal only $23.89 in 2019.

The 1955 Disneyland admission ticket price of $2.50 reflected the adult “Deluxe 15” ticket book. This book allowed guests to enter the park and ride 15 attractions.

Play Like Mum’s study also researched the rise in Disneyland ticket prices in the early days of its opening. By the 10th anniversary, ticket prices rose to $7.30. They remained at this price through the 20th anniversary.

Disneyland ticket prices continued to steadily rise to $16.50 in 1985, $31 in 1995, $56 in 2005 and $99 in 2015.

Do you think these prices are fair considering how much Disneyland has to offer now compared to 1955?
