‘Spider-Man: Far From Home‘ Becomes Highest Grossing Spider-Man Film. Across the board of the various studios involved with creating Spider-Man films there has been a ton of success for our favorite web head.
With Spider-Man: Homecoming grossing around $880 Million, and Spider-Man 3 bringing in over $890 Million during it’s run in theaters there is no denying the franchise continues to entertain Marvel fans despite being one of the most rebooted franchises from Marvel Comics.
The cherry on top of Aunt May’s famous pies was how well Spider-Man: Far From Home has performed in theaters. Having only been showing for 3 weeks, Spider-Man:FFH broke the current record for highest grossing Spider-Man film with a whopping $970 Million according to cinemablend.com.
In the last weekend alone Far From Home made $21 Million domestically and looks to be on track for becoming the first Spider-Man film to pass the $1 Billion mark before making it’s way to Digital and Blu-ray DVD.
This week alone, Marvel Studios beat the record for highest grossing film of all time with Avengers: Endgame, unseating James Cameron’s Avatar which held the record for a decade! At San Diego Comic Con the film studio also announced 5 new shows for Disney’s new streaming service Disney Plus (Disney+) and 6 new films that will make up Phase 4 of the MCU. It is a good time to be a part of the Marvel family!
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is set to return to the MCU in a third Spidey led film, but after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home we’ll see how Peter Parker deals with the repercussions of Mysterio’s big reveal!
