The Downtown Disney District in Anaheim is the place to be for all your dining needs. This year, they have really kicked it up a notch with new restaurants and great dining experiences! With only being steps away from the Disneyland Park and the Disneyland Hotel, you can’t go wrong stopping for a meal in Downtown Disney.

This year started off with a bang and some brews. Ballast Point Brewing Co. opened in January and has been serving up some tasty eats. Try a shareable plate of Duck Con Fit Nachos or take a bite out of the Ballast Point Burger. Pair your meal with a rich or light craft brew as you overlook the district from the second floor patio.

How about a CrazyShake to go with that burger? At Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, there is no shortage of cheeseburgers or milkshakes. We highly recommend the Greg Norman Burger and the Churro Choco Taco CrazyShake. This a great, fun place to kick it with friends with some great food to enjoy.

If pizza is more your thing, head on over to Naples Ristorante e Bar and Napolini Pizzeria. Naples has a fantastic first and second floor dining area. When the weather is just right, the outside bar area is perfect for dining as well. We recommend the Pepperoni pizza and the Panzerotti appetizer. You will not be disappointed!

Enjoy some Macho Nachos as you perfect your bowling game at Splitsville Luxury Lanes! If you love live entertainment, grab your friends and enjoy some live music by the Kingpin Stage.

Disney to live stream Main Street Electrical Parade

Great news! Disney will be live stream the Main Street Electrical Parade from Disneyland on Aug. 2 at 8:55 p.m. PT.

The parade will travel down Main Street, U.S.A., for a limited-time engagement taking place nightly, from Aug. 2 through Sept. 30.

‘The Lion King‘ Roars Past $1 Billion in the Global Box Office. The Lion King is the fifth film of 2019 to pass $1 billion at the global box office and 2019 is proving that Disney reigns in theaters.

Having become the 41st film to ever surpass $1 billion in the box office, The Lion King is Disney’s formal 4th film in 2019 to join the club, but is the 5th film associated with the studio this year to reach this level of success. Other “Billionaire Club” members of 2019 include: Marvel’s Captain Marvel ($1.1 B), Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame ($2.8 B), Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Far From Home ($1 B), and Disney’s live-action Aladdin ($1 B).

Disney is no where close to being done in theaters this year, and still has the premieres of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (October 18), Frozen 2 (November 22) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (December 20) which are predicted to be some of the highest grossing films of 2019.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Disney’s The Lion King (2019) on this major accomplishment!

Fans who have pre-ordered Avengers: Endgame can now access it via their preferred digital services. You can find Avengers:Endgame on Digital in HD, 4K Ultra HD™ and the Movies Anywhere App.

Avengers: Endgame is only available on digital release as of today, but a physical release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™, DVD and On-Demand will available starting August 13, 2019.

Disney+, ESPN+, And Hulu Bring Streaming Magic To Disney’s D23 Expo 2019 In Anaheim August 23–25

For the first time ever, three of Disney’s signature streaming services, Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu, will showcase their variety of original and exclusive content through immersive show floor pavilions, live demos, never-before-seen content, and special experiences at D23 Expo 2019 in Anaheim, California. Guests will be the first to experience Disney+ before it launches in the U.S. on November 12. They will also get to step into the world of ESPN+ Original shows with an interactive exhibit, and discover costumes and show props from Hulu’s award-winning original content and on-demand streaming library.

Disney+ Pavilion

On the Expo show floor, the Disney+ Pavilion will offer guests demonstrations of the live Disney+ app as experienced across mobile and connected TV devices, showcasing the unprecedented collection of entertainment from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. Guests will also see costumes and props from Disney+ Originals and have the opportunity to subscribe to the service with a special offer available exclusively to Expo attendees and D23 Members.

ESPN+ Pavilion

At the ESPN+ Pavilion guests will have the opportunity to see and connect with exciting original content, with two interactive exhibits dedicated to new programs making their ESPN+ debut this summer, Peyton’s Places (with five-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning) and SneakerCenter.

Peyton’s Places: Peyton’s Places is a 30-episode documentary series hosted by Peyton Manning, exclusively on ESPN+. Produced by ESPN+ and NFL Films, the series offers a fun, insightful tour through 100 years of football, following the sport and the league’s rise to an American cultural touchstone. For nearly a year, Manning has crisscrossed the country, visiting the people and places that have played an important part in the making of the NFL—highlighting memorable events, teams, players, and trends over the past century. Peyton’s Places begins streaming on ESPN+ in late July.

SneakerCenter: SneakerCenter is a series devoted to sneaker culture across sports, entertainment, and more. Told by the star athletes, artists, enthusiasts, and brands powering the global sneaker marketplace, each episode of SneakerCenter will be anchored by a unique narrative, supported by a rotating set of “mixtape-style” segments that take fans deep into every aspect of the sneaker movement. Directed by award-winning filmmaker and acclaimed author Bobbito García, a special preview episode featuring NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is streaming now, with the full series premiering in the fall.

Hulu Pavilion

The Hulu Pavilion will be home to more than 20 iconic costumes and artifacts, including the famous red robe worn by the likes of Elisabeth Moss in The Handmaid’s Tale, paintings featured in season one of Castle Rock, and George Clooney’s Catch-22 costume. In addition to costumes, visitors to the interactive exhibit will be able to get a close look at show props from upcoming Hulu Originals like Little Fires Everywhere and select shows found in Hulu’s streaming library, such as The Good Doctor, Brooklyn Nine-Nine,and The Goldbergs.

Additionally, the Disney+ Pavilion Stage will host three full days of panels, highlighting the service’s diverse originals and its collection of beloved movies and shows, along with special ESPN+ panel programming.

New Summer Stitch Cupcake Spotted At All Star Sports

Aloha, it seems that Stitch caught a wave on the Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride. Now he has ended up at the All Star Sports Resort, End Zone Food Court, there you can find the new Blue Raspberry Stitch Cupcakes.

These cupcakes are a moist yellow cake with a chocolate raspberry filling on the inside. On top you will find the electric blue, beautifully swirled blue raspberry buttercream frosting. Topped with blue candy pearls and a white chocolate surfing stitch ganache.

The cupcakes are situated into a very cute Star printed cupcake wrapper, rumored to be inspired by the various star motifs you see around the All Star Resort.

A lot of folks say the cupcakes are very similar to stitch’s personality, sweet but somewhat tart.

If you want to get your hands on one of these delectable desserts, you can head to the End Zone Food Court at All Star Sports Resort. One of these delicious bad boys will cost you $5.99 or if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you can get this treat as a snack credit. There’s plenty of sunshine headed Br’er Bear’s, Br’er Fox’s and Br’er Rabbit’s way with this adorable new collection of vinyls from Funko. If you’re looking to dive into the excitement of Splash Mountain you’ll be able to find this trio beginning August 3rd at Disneyland! A Walt Disney World release date has not been confirmed, but all of the past Funko POP! releases have been on the same date at each park. Br’er Fox missed the log ride for the last Splash Mountain POP! from Funko, so it’s great to see him along for the fun this time. Br’er Fox has a special place in my heart, because my little cousin growing up was obsessed with him, so I’m excited to see him as a POP! Vinyl.

New Pepperoni Pizza Burger At Disney Springs

D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs is debuting a brand new burger. You have got to try the all new Pepperoni Pizza Burger!

This new burger is a pizza lover’s dream! The Pepperoni Pizza Burger has a beef patty topped with lettuce, fried mozzarella, artisan pepperoni, and pomodoro sauce and all on a focaccia roll. This new unique burger retails at D-Luxe for $13.49.

Located at Disney Spring’s Town Center, D-Luxe is a great spot to share a burger, fries, and a gelato shake or two. D-Luxe has duo meals for sharing as well. The duo meals come with two burgers, an order of fries, and two beverages.

If you’re looking for a way to cool down, try their artisanal gelato shakes. Try a traditional chocolate gelato shake, or go for a cake gelato shake with rainbow sprinkles. Spotted-A New Cupcake at Disney’s Pop Century Resort

The new cupcake at Disney’s Pop Century Resort is paws-itively Purr-fect!

In honor of the new live-action Lion King movie being released, there are many new treats being spotted around the Walt Disney World Resort parks and resorts!

The new Paw cupcake at Disney’s Pop Century is made with a moist chocolate cake base. The cake is then topped with swirls of peanut butter buttercream.

The buttercream is then topped with tiny little molded sugar paws and a rim of candy crunchies and sprinkles.
But that’s not all! Inside this incredibly cute cupcake are more chocolate and peanut butter! There wasn’t a lot of chocolate and peanut butter on the inside, but it was still delicious, to say the least!

There is no word on how long these will last, so head over to Pop Century Resort to try one of these delicious new cupcakes while supplies last!

Marvel and Mattel Present X-Men Comics Barbie Dolls

Marvel and Mattel Present X-Men Comics Barbie® Dolls. Mattel and Marvel have collaborated to bring 3 of the women from X-Men together to celebrate Marvel’s 80th Anniversary as a new Barbie® Doll Collection.

Indiana Jones 5 Set to Begin Filming in 2020

Indiana Jones 5 Set to Begin Filming in 2020. After several film schedule changes, lead writer replacement, and a completely new script causing a 2-year delay, Indiana Jones 5 is finally ready to begin filming.

The fifth film in the Indiana Jones franchise was originally scheduled to premiere in theaters during 2019. Obviously that time has come and gone and it was previously reported that the film would begin filming in April of this year. April came and went without even a hint of progress and fans started to wonder if Lucasfilm would ever get around to making a fifth Indy film.

It is now being reported by Comicbook.com, that Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm decided to push back production for the film in favor of a new script with a new writer. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull writer, David Koepp, left the project and was replaced with This is Us creator, Dan Fogelman.

Fogelman has been tasked with creating the new script for the entire film with a scheduled production date to begin filming in London starting in April of 2020.

“It’s always worth the trip when I get to work with this deep bench of talent coming out of the UK,” Executive Producer Steven Spielberg said during the Empire Awards. “The actors, and the crew, the chippies, the sparks, the drivers — everybody who has helped me make my movies here, and will continue helping me make my movies here when I come back in April 2019 to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie right here.”

Rumors also swirled that Indiana Jones himself, Harrison Ford, may be replaced by a younger actor to portray the professor and enthusiastic archeologist. Ford shut down those rumors rather quickly with a straight to the point response.

“Nobody is going to be Indiana Jones,” Ford said. “Don’t you get it? I’m Indiana Jones. When I’m gone, he’s gone. It’s easy.”

Production for the untitled Indiana Jones 5 project is set to begin in April of 2020 and is scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 9, 2021.

‘Aladdin’ Becomes 4th Disney Film In 2019 To Make $1 Billion At The Box Office. In less than 7 months Disney has become the most profitable film studio within a year in history and still have 5 months and several big film premieres to go!

The live-action films Genie, Will Smith, announced that the film had already become the highest grossing film of his career. The cast and crew must be speechless (get it) at how well Aladdin has performed in theaters across the globe. Grossing over $1 Billion as of today, according to The Walt Disney Company.

Disney has had 4 films reach the $1 Billion mark at the global box office in 2019: Captain Marvel ($1.1 B), Avengers: Endgame ($2.8 B), Spider-Man: Far From Home ($1 B), and Aladdin ($1 B). As if that wasn’t enough, Disney still has the premieres of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (October 18), Frozen 2 (November 22) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (December 20) which are predicted to be some of the highest grossing films of 2019.

Disney and Marvel Studios have been the only film studios to have a film gross over $1 billion at the box office, besides Sony, who collaborated with Disney and Marvel Studios on Spider-Man: Far From Home ($1 B).
