Final Autopsy Report Confirms Cameron Boyce’s Cause of Death

Final Autopsy Report Confirms Cameron Boyce’s Cause of Death. Nearly a month after the unfortunate passing of Disney Channel Star and 20 year-old actor, Cameron Boyce, an official cause of death was revealed in a statement by the Los Angeles coroner.

“The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner determined the cause of death for actor Cameron Boyce was sudden unexpected death in epilepsy,” the coroner said in a statement, “On July 8, an autopsy was performed, and the cause and manner of death were deferred. After additional testing, the cause of death was determined to be sudden unexpected death in epilepsy.”

The star’s “manner of death was certified as natural,” the coroner concluded.

Cameron’s parents, Victor and Libby Boyce, shared an exclusive statement to PEOPLE  and said how their son was the “rock” of their family and their “shooting star.”

”There are no words to describe how moved we are by the tremendous outpouring of love and support from our family, friends, and the world. Thank you, everyone, for encircling us with your love and respect of Cameron and concern for our family,” they said.

To help leave a legacy for their son and to brighten the world as her did in life, his family has created the Cameron Boyce Foundation. According to the Cameron Boyce Foundation website, the “Cameron Boyce Foundation provides young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world. The Foundation was established in 2019 to honor Cameron’s legacy.”

Disney has also decided to honor Cameron’s life by donating the funds gathered for the Descendants 3 premiere to one of his favorite charities, the Thirst Project. Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization that works with the support of young people to END the global water crisis by building freshwater wells in developing communities that need safe, clean drinking water.

Our deepest condolences go out to Cameron’s family, friends, and fans during this extremely difficult time.

Disney and Beyoncé Rumored to Collaborate On Future Films. With the wildly successful release of Disney’s Live-Action The Lion King it appears Queen Bey and Disney are looking to work together on future film projects!

An inside source spoke with U.K.’s The Sun and claims, “Beyonce’s deal with Disney for The Lion King was one of the biggest it has done to date. Now they want to expand it by giving her free reign to create her own movies under the Disney umbrella.”  The insider added: ‘The conversations are ongoing but it’s an exciting proposition.”

Disney and Beyoncé Rumored to Collaborate On Future Films

There is no knowing yet if there is any stock to these rumors since neither Disney nor Beyoncé ‘s representatives have confirmed the collaboration, but the prospect is not impossible.

Disney had offered an audition to Beyoncé for the role of Tiana in Disney’s Princess and the Frog, but reports stated that the award winning singer/songwriter/director believed Disney would offer her the part without a formal audition. When she did not show, Disney continued with casting and offered the role to Anika Noni Rose.

With the combined knowledge and talent of the studio and multifaceted entertainer there is no doubting Disney and Beyoncé would make a great pair and could create some truly amazing work together. Only time will tell if the rumors are true.

Highlights of the new separate-ticket event, Oogie Boogie Bash—A Disney Halloween Party, include:

  • The new “World of Color” show, “Villainous!,” exclusive to Oogie Boogie Bash. In this nighttime spectacular, Oogie Boogie weaves a Halloween tale about a young girl (and all-new character created by Disney animator Eric Goldberg) named Shelley Marie. In “Villainous!,” Shelley has a decision to make about her Halloween costume for this year, and finds herself wondering if she could really be as strong and unique as some of her favorite Disney characters. This twisted tale carries Shelley on an unforgettable journey, exploring the villainous side of Disney characters through fountains, lights, lasers, projections and special effects. “Villainous!” shows guests that, deep down, there’s a little villain in all of us.
  • Redwood Creek Challenge Trail becomes Villains Grove, a wondrous and ethereal world of Disney villains unlike anything seen before. Redwood Creek will be completely transformed with lighting, projections, sounds and special effects, creating a dreamlike environment. This new experience unfolds in a series of scenes, each creating a hauntingly beautiful dream-space of color, sound, light and shadow, as stories emerge from the darkest night to create an enchanting world.
  • New and wonderfully wicked, fully immersive treat trails throughout Disney California Adventure, where guests may enjoy trick-or-treating under the watchful eyes of iconic characters such as Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” or even Oogie Boogie himself. Additional treat trails will feature oversized cauldrons full of treats for all guests at Oogie Boogie Bash.
  • The new DescenDANCE, a pulsing party in the Backlot area of Hollywood Land, inspired by the popular “Descendants” franchise from Disney Channel. Here, guests will find so many ways to be wicked. As the DescenDANCE show begins, a spell is cast, summoning the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost to throw down and lead everyone in moves that are set to the biggest hit songs from the “Descendants” movies. Once the DescenDANCE crew returns to their realm, the Backlot DJ continues to spin tunes that will make any “villain kid” proud, inviting everyone to step onto the dance floor into the night.
  • The guest-favorite “Frightfully Fun Parade,” which will come to Disney California Adventure park for the first time. The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow arrives on his ghostly black steed just ahead of the parade itself, carrying his flickering jack-o-lantern. He heralds the arrival of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse who lead the cavalcade of characters, including Jack Skellington and many mischievous Disney villains who are ready to stir up some trouble along the parade route. New this year, the ever-curious and whimsical Cheshire Cat joins the parade, mischievously smiling at all the magical mayhem.
  • The new “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” show, perfect for young guests, at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land. This new, interactive stage production invites guests of all ages to join Mickey Mouse and his pals as they throw a one-of-a-kind Halloween party that include dancing, not-so-frightening scary-tales, and candy.
  • Character encounters with beloved Disney characters – and villains, too. Guests may be surprised at who they discover at this Halloween party, ready for photos and greetings.
  • New Halloween magic, which appears on the façade of Carthay Circle on Buena Vista Street. Carthay Circle will be enchanted throughout the night as bats swarm, green energy pulses from within and spellbinding moments transform the iconic tower structure.

Fun Clicky Disney Pens Are As Entertaining As They Are Cute

Honestly I never need an excuse to get a new pen, pencil, or any other fun stationary item. While Julie was at Mouse Gear last week she found these fun Clicky Disney Pens, and honestly I need them all! There is a whole assortment of characters, but these were some of our favorites.

The fun pens have molded plastic character toppers, that features some of our favorite Disney pals. Each pen has coordinating colors, and the character’s autograph on it! When you click the little switch, these cuties will raise their arms up and down. I could seriously click these all day while working. These are perfect for bringing along for character autographs as you explore the Disney Parks. They are also great for bringing home a piece of Disney magic, to use daily, or to give as souvenir gifts!

Fun Clicky Disney Pens Are As Entertaining As They Are Cute

We saw all kinds of characters Mickey, Minnie, Genie, Timon, Remy, and even a Green Alien eating Pizza from Pizza Planet. You can find these fun Clicky Disney Pens for $9.99 at Mouse Gear now.

Would you use these just for autograph signing, or would you bring them home to keep the magic going? I will warn you, you might get side tracked while playing with them when you’re supposed to be working.

Chicken Guy! Disney Springs wins 2019 Shop! Gold Award

On June 26, 2019, The Shop! Association Annual Store Design Awards winners were announced at a ceremony held at the GlobalShop Conference in Chicago. The awards judge retail concepts on design, originality in the use of space and materials, and quality of concept execution. Among the winners announced that evening was Architecture Plus International, Inc.(API(+), winning Gold Fast Casual Restaurant + Graphics awards for Chicken Guy! Disney Springs.

Chicken Guy! Disney Springs wins 2019 Shop! Gold Award

Chicken Guy!, a collaboration between celebrity chef Guy Fieri and restauranteur Robert Earl was honored for design excellence + execution. The 1,800-square-foot fast-casual restaurant is the first location with plans for additional locations across the country, including opening in Miami later this summer at Aventura Mall.

When designing the location, the API(+) team was tasked with developing a compelling environment that embodies Guy Fieri’s edgy and fun personality. The space is a unique half crescent shape and is located in a highly trafficked area of Disney Springs so it receives large numbers lunch and dinnertime guests.

Rough brick walls and corrugated tin ceilings provide an edgy, urban, industrial backdrop to colorful graphics. Simple illustration-style graphics throughout the restaurant can be described as in-your-face and playful – on brand with Fieri’s famous personality. Guy greets visitors at a selfie wall in the que area and the restaurant’s differentiators are expressed via graphics in the dining room.
