All New Mid-Day Magic Ticket Offer Now Available At Walt Disney World Resort. Beginning today, Aug. 15, 2019, Guests can “fall into fun” like never before at Walt Disney World® Resort with a brand new ticket offer. With the “Mid-Day Magic Ticket,” You can enjoy admission after 12 p.m. to one theme park per day. 2-, 3- and 4-day Mid-Day Magic tickets are available for start dates on or before Dec. 15, 2019.

This is the first time Disney is offering a late-entry ticket with special pricing that allows Guests to enter the Disney theme parks starting at noon and enjoy the rest of the day and evening. This option works best for Guests who are looking for an opportunity to start their morning at a leisurely pace, to enjoy other early-morning activities (golf, pool, etc.), or to travel from their accommodations.

With these tickets, the magic starts at noon as Guests will receive admission to one theme park per day after 12 p.m. Additionally, Guests can secure afternoon and evening FastPass+ to select attractions, entertainment and Character Greets up to 30 days in advance. Guests can also enjoy new seasonal excitement, including new sips and savors at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and the holiday Hoopla Dance Party in DinoLand U.S.A at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park starting Nov. 8!

Here is the breakdown for the new Mid-Day Magic Ticket Options:

2-Day Mid-Day Magic Ticket: Valid for admission after 12 p.m. 2-day Mid-Day Magic Tickets are available from $88 per day plus tax (from $176 total plus tax) and expire four (4) days after the selected start date.
3-Day Mid-Day Magic Ticket: Valid for admission to after 12 p.m. 3-day Mid-Day Magic tickets are available from $84 per day plus tax (from $252 total plus tax) and expire five (5) days after the selected start date.
4-Day Mid-Day Magic Ticket: Valid for admission after 12 p.m. 4-day Mid-Day Magic tickets are available from $79 per day plus tax (from $316 total plus tax) and expire seven (7) days after the selected start date

Weekday Specials At Catal Restaurant And UVA Bar

At the heart of the Downtown Disney District, you can find Catal Restaurant and UVA Bar. This bar and eatery has some amazing food and drink options on special during the week!

At Catal Restaurant, you can now enjoy happy hour special eats and cocktails from Monday to Friday. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and at UVA Bar & Cafe from 2-5 p.m., guests can enjoy shareable small plates on special. Try the Ahi Bruschetta, made with blackened pacific ahi, Mediterranean salsa, avocado, sriracha, and a balsamic reduction. Next try the Chicken and Waffles, made with spicy crispy chicken, maple bourbon syrup, and brown sugar bacon. Try these and more during happy hour.

During happy hour, select cocktails are also on special. Enjoy a classic Catal Margarita. Then, indulge in a vodka based mojito that is made with blackberries, the Vojito. UVA Bar also serves up Mega Cocktails that are perfect for sharing. Grab a few friends and try a Mega Mule.

Finally, wind down with Catal every Wine Wednesday with 1/2 off bottles of wine! No mid-week slump here. Choose from a fine selection of whites, reds, sparklings and even rose wines. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is preparing for the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on August 29th. The land has been open for cast member previews only. However, Disney has released an aerial photo of Galaxy’s Edge that are making future guests even more eager to visit.

Starting August 29th guests will finally get the chance to immerse themselves in all that the planet of Batuu has to offer. Guests will get to take flight aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. This interactive ride experience is unlike anything in the entire galaxy.

Guests visiting the Black Spire Outpost will get to enjoy many different experiences. Reserve your spot now to build your own droid at the Droid Depot. You can also reserve time to make your own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. Both of these interactive experiences are available for early reservations through Walt Disney World’s My Disney Experience Mobile system.

Travelers wandering around Galaxy’s Edge will also get the chance to grab a refreshment at Oga’s Cantina. Select a reservation time for the cantina and try a series of fun and interesting concoctions.

Guests will get to enjoy all of this and more when Florida’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29th.

Live-Action Bambi May Be In The Works By Disney. What started as a joke on SNL in 2015 may now be turned into a reality. If you didn’t see the iconic and hilarious mock-trailer for a live-action Bambi from Saturday Night Live starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, I highly suggest watching it on YouTube after reading this article.

According to WeGotThisCovered.com, Disney is looking to create a live-action remake of the Disney Classic film, Bambi.

Disney has been met with both praise and criticism from fans for its decision to keep producing “live-action remakes” of the Disney Classics. But with films such as Aladdin (2019) and The Lion King (2019) both reaching over $1 billion in the global box office, it is unlikely Disney will stop the trend any time in the near future.

For Disney Fans who may not be familiar with the 1942 Disney Classic, here is a film synopsis of Bambi: “In this Disney classic a young deer named Bambi joins his new friends, a rabbit named Thumper and a skunk named Flower, in exploring his forest home. As a boy, he learns from his doting mother and his father, The Great Prince of the Forest, that there are dangers in the open meadows where hunters can spot the animals, and he meets a beautiful young doe named Faline. As Bambi grows up, he learns that there is tragedy as well as beauty and joy in his forest world and on the path to adulthood.”

For now, the film is nearly in the concept stage and has not been assigned a director, writer, or theatrical release date. If the film does not make it to the big screen we could still see a live-action Bambi come to Disney+, the new streaming service for all things Disney launching November 12, 2019. If the film comes to fruition, Bambi will likely be styled similarly to The Lion King (2019) or Lady and the Tramp (2019) coming to Disney+.

Lucasfilm Wants To Bring Ahsoka Tano To The Big Screen. According to WeGotThisCovered.com, Lucasfilm is looking to bring Ahsoka Tano to theaters in a future Star Wars film. Ahsoka is best known from Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series where she was a Padawan learner to Anakin Skywalker before his turn to the dark side.

Ahsoka was one of the main characters in the popular animated series, and also one of the first characters that had not been featured in a Star Wars film to appear on the show. She quickly gained popularity among fans and through fantastic storytelling, took a new turn towards the end of her time on the show and became one of the first “Gray Jedi” to be showcased in main stream media. She later appeared as a much older and full fledged Gray Jedi in Star Wars: Rebels in a smaller, but crucial guest appearance.

Ahsoka’s journey is quite an amazing one, and if you have not watched Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and are a huge Star Wars fan, I highly suggest giving it a go. The show gives a ton of insight that the films just don’t have time to showcase and it makes the decisions in the films even more heartbreaking with the finer details.With that in mind, here is the exciting bit!

Lucasfilm wants to bring Ahsoka into the fold of Star Wars films, and if they can’t get her in a featured film, they may be looking to add more of her story to a live-action series on Disney+. Ahsoka’s big screen debut would more than likely be in the next trilogy being written by Star Wars director, Rian Johnson. Johnson’s trilogy is reported to be set after Star Wars: Episode IX. The opposite is being said about Game of Thrones writers, D.B.Weiss and David Benioff, who are reportedly working on a separate trilogy set before the events of the Skywalker Saga in a long, long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

If Johnson decides to not include Ahsoka Tano in the new Star Wars trilogy, the studio may be looking to have her appear in an exclusive series on Disney+. The show would likely take on a likeness of The Mandalorian.

Actress, Rosario Dawson, has expressed interest in playing the live-action version of Ahsoka, much to the delight of fans who believe Dawson is perfect for the role.

The hauntingly cute Nightmare Before Christmas Ears that arrived at Disneyland earlier this month, are now available at Walt Disney World! We found these spook-tacular cuties at Mouse Gear in Epcot, along with some other fun Nightmare Before Christmas goodies.

These Jack ears are a black faux leather, that have white silhouettes of Jack, and Oogie on the front, with Zero on the back. They have a minimalist design that really lets the characters stand out in a bold contrast.

There is also a slithery Tim Burtoneque snake embroidered on the side of the headband.

The Sally Minnie Ears are a gorgeously updated version of last year’s pair! Sally’s patchwork dress adorns the ears and headband of this pair. The ears are then topped off by a sequined pale blue bow, with stitches like her skin.

You can accessorize your ears with the fun light-up Jack Skellington necklace. You might also recognize the Loungefly backpack behind them.

Or you can light up the night with Oogie Boogie!

One fun new treat is the light-up Zero on a leash! This is similar to the “invisible ghost dog” leashes you used to find near the Haunted Mansion years ago, but with a very tangible Zero as the ghost dog! This light-up toy looks like you’re actually walking a glowing Zero through the parks.

New Disney No-Carve Pumpkin Kits From Target This Halloween

Are you ready for a not so scary Halloween season this year? I know I am, and I can’t wait to start decorating! Target knows exactly what we need with these new Disney No-Carve Pumpkin Kits too! These fun kits can be used with real, or craft pumpkins to add some Disney magic to your spooktacular Halloween decor.

Several of these are available for a “sold out” pre-order, but it looks like the will be arriving online and in stores on August 22nd. Each kit retails for $10.00

There are several favorites available, like the usual Halloween Disney stars Jack and Sally, as well as classic favorites and new commer Vamparina! There is even a dash of Star Wars and Marvel characters available! Mickey and Minnie are of course dressed up for the occasion with their Vampire, and Witch costumes.

These kits are super easy to use, you can leave the pumpkin plain, or paint them to match your chosen character. Once you decide on that simply stick in the pieces to create the post you want, and voila instant character pumpkin, with no fuss and no mess.

There are some classic designs we’ve seen before, but it’s great to see them back, and updated for this year’s Halloween season. If you are using craft pumpkins, you can even keep them to use year after year!

These are great for all ages, and you can let the kids be as creative as they want with paint colors, and positions of the pumpkin picks.

Fluffer Nutter Cupcake Available for a Limited Time at Sprinkles Bakery in Disney Springs

Peanut butter lovers rejoice! Sprinkles bakery at Disney Springs has announced the addition of a Fluffer Nutter cupcake to their menu from August 12th through August 25th.

Sprinkles bakery is known for their gigantic cupcakes with an enormous flavor to match. Owner Candace Nelson can boast to having opened the world’s first cupcake bakery, sparking an enormous trend that has carried on since 2005. Her cupcakes vary widely from traditional flavors such as Red Velvet and Strawberry to the ultra-creative Sangria, a seasonal offering that will satisfy adult palates.

The Fluffer Nutter promises to appeal to cupcake-lovers of all ages, especially those who have fond childhood memories of that classic marshmallowy sandwich. The cupcake itself will be a banana cake, with a peanut butter frosting filling. The topping will be toasted marshmallow to ensure that classic taste is done right.

The Disney Springs location is one of 31 Sprinkles bakeries across the country, including the original store in Beverly Hills. Many of them offer the additional convenience and quirky fun of having a cupcake ATM, as well as having cookies, brownies, layer cakes, ice cream, and frosting shots on the menu. One thing is certain: whether you’re a cupcake fan or not, Sprinkles makes sure you aren’t left out at their bakeries!
