Celebrity Schedule Revised for Epcot’s Candlelight Processional

Epcot’s Candlelight Processional during the Festival of Holidays is a joyous event where celebrity speakers retell the story of a Savior who was born in Bethlehem. The Candlelight Processional occurs three times each night from Nov. 29 to Dec. 30. There is a different celebrity every couple of days. However, the schedule has now been revised due to two celebrities that will no longer be speaking.

Chita Rivera was one of the celebrities to leave the schedule of the Candlelight Processional. Instead, Alton Fitzgerald White (pictured above), famous for playing “Scar” in “The Lion King” on Broadway, will now be speaking for the event from Dec. 11 to Dec. 12.

Another speaker to drop out of the event was Warwick Davis. Davis was going to be featured from Dec. 19 to Dec. 21 and is now being replaced by actress Geena Davis (pictured above), known especially for her roles in “A League of Their Own” and “Beetlejuice.”

Make sure to check out the new celebrity speakers for yourself before the Festival of Holidays is finished! Simply head over to the American Adventure Amphitheater between the Japan and Italy Pavilions in Epcot’s World Showcase. Be sure to arrive early as seating fills up very quickly. Jon Favreau Explains Why He Created “Baby Yoda”

It’s been less than a month since The Mandalorian premiered and Baby Yoda fever is sweeping the nation. The show’s creator, Jon Favreau, gave insight on “The Child” and the future of the series in a recent interview.

When Yoda was introduced to the Star Wars saga, George Lucas kept the character’s background shrouded in mystery. That sense of mystery is what appealed to Jon Favreau when he started work on The Mandalorian. Jon Favreau explains, “We know who he (Yoda) is based on his behavior and what he stands for, but we don’t know a lot of details about where he comes from or his species. I think that’s why people are so curious about this little one of the same species.”

The decision to keep Baby Yoda a well-guarded secret was vital in his eyes. Jon wanted to recreate the experience movie-goers had when Star Wars first hit movie theaters. Disney was on board with his argument to keep Baby Yoda a surprise for viewers. They wanted to keep fans excited as a community. It feels more thrilling and engaging to watch a story unfold without any hints being revealed in advance. Discovering Baby Yoda for the first time is reminiscent of the experience Star Wars fans felt long ago when they first saw the films.

We’ll have to continue watching The Mandalorian to see what’s in store for these new characters! The show has an overarching story arc that fits into the larger Star Wars universe. Exploring the events that transpired between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens is a 25-year gap full of adventure and story-telling for the future.

Annual Passholders Celebrate the Holidays with Exclusive Perks at Disney Springs This Weekend

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders need to get ready because Disney Springs is rolling out exclusive Christmas fun on the weekends! On Saturday, December 7th, and Sunday, December 8th, special deals on shopping and food, as well as early access to experiences will be available only to Passholders.

Early access will be available at the Christmas Tree Trail from 8 AM to 11 AM, where guests can enjoy the numerous themed trees along the path, and also meet Santa at his Chalet, since it will also be open for Passholders during that time. The World of Disney will open from 8 AM to 10 AM so that shoppers can do some Christmas browsing without the impediment of the usual Saturday crowds. Disney’s Days of Christmas Store will be open for those same hours to enable guests to find their perfect holiday decor, and also receive two complimentary personalizations with the purchase of an ornament upon showing their Annual Pass. Even the Daily Poutine will be opening their window a bit earlier than usual, from 8 AM to 12 PM, so that Passholders can get a fix with some delicious fries before anyone else!

Discounts and favors will also be available exclusively to Passholders this weekend at stores such as: The Ganachery (complimentary Passholder mini ganache with purchase of 6 or more mini ganache), Amorette’s Patisserie (special Key Lime Tart available for purchase), Disney’s PhotoPass Studio (exclusive Passholder backdrops), AristoCrepes (complimentary Ralph trophy with the purchase of any bubble waffle), STK Orlando (one complimentary lil brg’s at the bar), Wetzel’s Pretzels Kiosk (complimentary fountain drink with the purchase of any baked good), Wine Bar George (BOGO wine on tap, valid in the dining room with a food purchase, max $9 per glass), Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill (50% off specialty sundaes), and Wolfgang Puck Express (20% off food and beverages, excluding alcohol).

Annual Passholders can also enjoy 25% off of food and nonalcoholic beverages at Terralina Crafted Italian and Paddlefish this weekend, as well as 15% off at Frontera Cocina, and 10% off at YeSake Kiosk, Sprinkles, D-Luxe Burger, The Ganachery, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, The Daily Poutine, and Amorette’s Patisserie.

A final discount is available at the NBA Experience as well, where adults may purchase tickets for $19 each, or $14 for a child, plus tax. This offer will be good through March 31, 2020.

All discounts and early access times will require that guests present their Annual Pass, and it is recommended that participants park in the Lime Garage. These perks for Passholders are only good December 7-8, so if you have an Annual Pass and are in the Disney Springs area, don’t miss out!

Good Morning America Gets an Inside Look at All of Disney’s Riviera Resort’s Best Offerings

To celebrate Disney’s Riviera Resort opening in only 10 days, Good Morning America’s Will Reeve is taking viewers on an insider’s tour of all of the resort’s best offerings.

First, Reeve gives a quick overview of the resort’s grandeur. With all of the classic European style designs, it is very pleasing to the eye.

Now, one of our favorite parts- the food! Not too long ago, we gave you a sneak peek at the menu at one of Riviera’s restaurants, “Primo Piatto.” Today though, Reeve takes us alongside his magically filled character breakfast at “Topolino’s Terrace.”

Here on the indoor rooftop terrace you can indulge in fresh pastries and your choice of one of their many entrée options as a part of their prix fixe menu. From plant-based options to smoked salmon to two eggs any style, there is something on the menu to meet everyone’s fancy.

Just when Reeve thought he had to eat his breakfast alone, some of our favorite Disney pals showed up for a selfie! At Breakfast a la Art, the Topolino’s Terrace character breakfast, guests can meet Minnie the poet, Mickey the painter, Donald the sculptor, and Daisy the dancer. They transport you back into the creative world of the European Renaissance and all of its beauty. Of course, there’s a fun Disney twist on the style so you need to take lots of photos!

New Baby Yoda Tervis Tumblers Are Now Available, We Need Them All!

Is your Spotchka or bone broth getting cold while you are on the go? We’ve got the perfect fix, Baby Yoda Tervis Tumblers of course! Our favorite little green alien from a galaxy far, far away can now be found on our favorite to go tumblers.

There are four different designs of “The Child” available online from Tervis, and each design also comes in a variety of styles as well. Prices range from $18.99 to $39.99 depending on the style you choose as well.

I especially love how they have also included the running gag with the frog. This design is the only one not available in a plastic style though.

Celebrate Grinchmas and More at Universal Studios Hollywood

The holidays have arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood theme park! This year, the park has so much in store for their guests. Celebrate Grinchmas with the residents of Who-ville and the Grinch himself! Then enjoy a nightly celebration at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

We had the pleasure of enjoying Grinchmas in Who-ville! The town of Who-ville has really outdone itself. The magnificent Grinchmas tree is over 60 feet tall and decorated with colorful lights and ornaments. At night, the Whos along with the Grinch light up this dazzling tree and a snowfall flurry! There was also special photo opportunities with the Grinch himself and his dog Max. Guests can also enjoy hot chocolate and special sweet treats as they shop for special Grinch merchandise!

We got to experience a special tree lighting ceremony! Actor, Mario Lopez, graced the stage and recited an excerpt from “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”. He accompanied the Grinch and friends to light up the tree and kick off the Who-bilation Celebration!

Enjoy all your seasonal favorites at “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”! With plenty of lights and seasonal decor, Hogsmeade village brings a special warmth to all who visit. When night falls, the Hogwarts Castle comes to life with “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts“. Special projections are cast on this massive castle along to brilliant Harry Potter film score. Ring in the New Year With Universal Studios Hollywood’s EVE

Universal Studios Hollywood is throwing an epic party to celebrate 2019 and ring in year 2020. The theme park will come alive with celebrations throughout the evening at their EVE party!

Guests while have be inviting to join in on Hollywood’s biggest party of the year! EVE will take place on December 31st and park hours will be extended until 2 A.M. on January 1st. This special event will be included with a theme park ticket purchase. Guests will have to option to upgrade their experience the Ultimate EVE package.

After enjoying a whole day at Universal Studios Hollywood Park and experiencing all there is to offer, the celebration begins. Starting at 9 P.M., EVE will officially kick off! There will be multiple DJs and live music to dance your way into the new year. At midnight, countdown to an amazing firework spectacular.
