Robert Downey Jr. Gives Hope For Iron Man’s Return to the MCU. Rumors have been swirling that Robert Downey Jr. may not be done playing Tony Stark/Iron Man and RDJ seems to be adding fuel to the fire this week during interviews for his latest film with wife Susan Downey, Dolittle.

“I’m not sure. Are we in bargaining now?” Downey explained on the TODAY Show, hinting about the fulfillment of his Marvel Studios contract. “I am so pleased, just that, I wound up where I have. I’m very fortunate so, I’m not the kind of guy who — I want to try to keep it classy. We’ll see.”

RDJ also discussed the possibility of returning as Tony with Extra.“Yeah, anything could happen. I’m really enjoying…” Downey said before his wife Susan Downey interjected. He continued, “As far as I’m concerned, I hung up my guns and I’m good to let it go. I also think Marvel is on this journey now and they’re trying a bunch of other stuff, and I’m excited for them to see how all that goes. It’s hard to project.” His wife Susan had interrupted his comment to say that the line would quickly become the next days headline. To be fair, she was completely right! The topic has not stopped since it was brought up, but as standard practice in Marvel, a characters reappearance is not always as straight forward as it seems.

Robert has had an impressive career with Marvel Studios as Tony Stark/Iron Man. He has starred in 10 Marvel Films from Iron Man to Avengers: Endgame and rumor has it, has even lent his vocal talents to portray Tony Stark in Marvel’s new Disney+ Series, What If…?. RDJ’s comment comes as a bit of surprise since it was previously reported it was difficult to get him signed on to continue the role after Iron Man 3 and join the cast of Captain America: Civil War.

Needless to say, we would be thrilled to have more Robert Downey Jr. appearances in the MCU, likely as an A.I. version of Tony Stark or possibly while exploring the aspects of the Multiverse in the MCU.

Celebrate the Year of the Mouse With Mickey and Minnie and Their Lunar New Year Inspired Outfits

Mickey and Minnie are celebrating the Lunar New Year with designer outfits at Disney California Adventure and Shanghai Disneyland. It’s the ‘Year of the Mouse’ so there are plenty of ways to celebrate the Lunar New Year in the parks!

Mickey and Minnie‘s amazing outfit designs were created by “award-winning couture fashion designer, Guo Pei, thanks to the Asian Couture Federation,” (Disney Parks Blog) and they look amazing! According to Disney Parks Blog, Pei is known for her devotion to conserving the traditional art of Chinese embroidery- and it is apparent when looking at the designs.

Pei was even at the big reveal for Mickey and Minnie’s Lunar New Year style attire at Disney California Adventure yesterday! Mickey and Minnie will now be around for guests to take pictures at Paradise Garden Park until Feb. 9. However, Mickey and Minnie are also taking the time to meet everyone in Shanghai Disneyland on Mickey Avenue from Lunar New Year until the end of the Lantern Festival.

Both Disney California Adventure and Shanghai Disneyland will be offering Lunar New Year inspired merchandise at Avenue M Arcade in Shanghai and Seaside Souvenirs at DCA!

For everyone at Walt Disney World, you can find Lunar New Year inspired merchandise- including the figurine (pictured above), and spirit jerseys, hats, Minnie ears, and others (pictured below)- at the ‘Serka Zong Bazaar’ in Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Moff Gideon Will Play A Bigger Role in Season 2 of ‘The Mandalorian’

Moff Gideon Will Play A Bigger Role in Season 2 of ‘The Mandalorian‘. Season 1 of The Mandalorian ended on a major cliffhanger after it was revealed that Moff Gideon survived his tie-fighter crash, and also revealed he currently wields the Darksaber. Though some fans may not be aware, the Darksaber was last seen in Star Wars: Rebels, and we are still scratching our heads about how it came to be in Gideon’s possession.

Regardless, we can’t wait to see more of Giancarlo Esposito’s ‘Moff Gideon’ in Season 2 since reports seem to be sharing that he will play an even bigger role in the popular Star Wars Series second season.

“It’s [The Mandalorian] growing,” said Esposito about Moff Gideon’s role in Season 2. “Yes, I do. I most certainly do.”

“It’s been exciting to be a part of that project because of the iconic nature of it, but even more so, because it has returned me to the Star Wars that I loved,” Giancarlo said. “I saw the first few movies and dropped away because it became more and more in a different vein than what I wanted to be in, but this is the true space western. It gives you room and space and each one is a little bit of a film. So you’re able to tell a story visually and it returns to the original guts of mythology based deeply rooted in Joe Campbell’s mythology which George Lucas was so fond of and which is why he was inclusive of that mythology in Star Wars so I’m pleased to be a part of that.”

Disney Dropping ‘Fox’ from Twenties Century Name

The Walt Disney Company is renaming the Twentieth Century Fox movie studio by dropping the ‘Fox’ in its title, after acquiring it last year! According to a Disney spokesman, Disney is dropping ‘fox’ and renaming it Twentieth Century Studios. This is also the same for its sister studio traditionally known as Fox Searchlight Pictures. This studio is known for its lower-budget, artier films will be called Searchlight Pictures.

The change has apparently occurred for two of Twentieth Century Studios’ upcoming films: “The Call of the Wild” starring Harrison Ford and Searchlight Pictures’ “Downhill” with Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Both television adverts for these movies include the Fox-free studio logos!

The multi-billion dollar ($71.3) acquisition was first announced in December of 2017. After much consideration and negotiation, Disney will absorb the rights to all 21st Century Fox movie and TV divisions. This includes rights to entities like the X-Men, Deadpool, Fantastic Four, the Avatar franchise, the distributor Fox Searchlight, The X-Files, and Empire. However, Disney did not acquire Fox broadcast network and Fox News, which are now part of a company called Fox Corp, therefore by changing the names will distinguish between the Walt Disney Company and Fox Corp.

The Rock The Dots Disney Dress Is Positively Minnie All The Way

Oh la la, there is a stylish new dress, inspired by our fabulous Minnie Mouse! The new Rock The Dots Disney Dress is positively Minnie in every way. This dapper dress is now available at the Disney Parks too!

The dress has a sassy hot pink skirt, and capped shoulders, with a white bodice, that has a sweetheart necklace. Lighter pink polka-dots have a scribbled on look, that cascade over the fun hot pink.

At the bottom of the dress is a screen printed design of Minnie being her absolutely fabulous self! She is dressed in a pink dress, and spritzing on polka-dotted perfume!

You can now get personalized guest service experience in every park at Walt Disney World!

The Guest Experience Team has arrived to Epcot! This was the last park left to get this team of Cast Members to help you with any questions you might have about the park, FastPass+, wait times, lost and found or the My Disney Experience app.

You can identify them for their blue shirts with the castle logo at Future World East and Future World West.

The team will make its official debut on January 26, just in time for the Festival of the Arts!

It’s Time for Some Peanut Butter and Jelly with this New Funnel Cake at Disney World

Epcot’s Festival of the Arts has commenced this week, and with that comes some very artistic interpretations from art to music, and even food. One of the creative, out of the lunch box turned into dessert creations is the Peanut Butter and Jelly Funnel Cake. This can be found over in the American Adventure Pavillion. I love how fun the food can get for the Festival of the Arts. The food doesn’t disappoint with creativity, color, or display during this festival. It is always interesting to see what they will come up with next.

The Peanut Butter and Jelly Funnel Cake is the traditional funnel cake sandwiched with a thick layer of peanut butter flavored ice cream. It is then topped with marshmallow cream, drizzled with raspberry syrup; not quite a jelly, but it does the trick. A requirement for this one is you must love peanut butter. If you do then its time for this peanut butter and jelly treat. Maybe even with a soda?! It costs $9.50 and sold at the Funnel Cakes Kiosk near the American Gardens Theatre. Which will be showcasing some talented Broadway performers during the festival. Get this before its gone, the festival will run until February 24th.

A New Peter Pan Bus Has Flown Into Walt Disney World

All you need is faith, trust, and a pixie-dust-filled-bus! There is a new Walt Disney World bus Peter Pan overlay design and it can fly you throughout the resort area. You may even end up in Neverland along the way.

The design features Peter Pan and Tinkerbell flying through the clouds of Neverland, probably before heading to go see Wendy!

Since the ‘Sensational Six’ Disney buses rolled out with their brand new blue seats, laminate flooring, and USB charging ports (Disney Parks Blog), each of the buses with new overlays include these additions. The new Peter Pan bus also has these snazzy features.

If you listen close while you are aboard, you may even be able to hear Tick-Tock the Crocodile waiting on Captain Hook– or maybe the chants and laughter from the Lost Boys!
