Valentine’s Day is just around the corner that’s why Disney Cruise Line created these tasty snacks so you can share them with your loved ones.

Let’s start with this yummy brownie inspired in our favorite Disney girl Minnie Mouse!

It’s a heart shaped chocolate brownie covered in dark chocolate drizzled with red, pink and white chocolate and topped with xoxo sprinkles and a chocolate Minnie Mouse bow. So cute!

Disney Ink and Paint Home Collection Adds A Splash of Color

The Disney Ink and Paint collection has been a colorful hit, and continues to grow! Now you can find the Ink and Paint Home Collection at Disneyland and also Walt Disney World! This collection features decorative items for the home and kitchen, that add a colorful splash of Disney magic.

Magnets!

One can never have enough magnets! You can choose from a fun magnet set, or a light-up magnet, or hey both! The set comes with three magnets that look like miniature Ink and Paint canvases. It also comes with a darling little easel to display them on too! The light-up magnet is an artist palette with Sorcerer Mickey. Each color swatch also has a sketch of a classic character within it too.

I’m really loving this set of four ceramic Ink and Paint jars. They are not only extra cute, but super versatile! You can use them in the kitchen to store things, or even as a vase to accent your home.

Kitchen Essentials

This ceramic tray can also be used for the kitchen, or as accent decor. It is shaped like an easel, with an assortment of paint daubs. Each little pain daub is also a Mickey shape, so cute!

The Ink and Paint bowl is absolutely darling! This is a large serving bowl that is red on the outside, but filled with gorgeous Ink and Paint images inside. I might already have this on my list of must haves for my newest fruit bowl!

Of course if we’re serving up delicious yummies in the bowl, we’ll need plates to put it on! You can also purchase square ceramic plates featuring the Ink and Paint style characters. Each set comes with four plates, and all four plates have a different character.

If you’re looking to whip up a colorful dish to serve, there are also two different Ink and Paint aprons to choose from! You can get an apron dripping with colorful splashes of paint, or also an apron featuring classic Disney animation characters.

I am very intrigued by the toothpick holder. It is a magnetic palette, that comes with smaller cups that magnetize to it. It looks like you can put as many or little of the cups on it as you please. I am sure you can put other things besides toothpicks in them as well.

Reason for Recent Disneyland Fire Revealed

Recently there was a fire at Disneyland in a backstage area between the Disneyland Firehouse and the Emporium gift shop. The fire was quickly extinguished by Disneyland’s fire department and Anaheim Fire & Rescue. We now know what the cause of the fire was.

A state agency that inspects amusement rides has concluded that the backstage fire that forced Disneyland to temporarily close Adventureland and caused isolated power outages in the park was caused by a construction generator.

“The fire was related to a generator supplying power to a building,” California Division of Occupational Safety and Health spokesperson Frank Polizzi said.

The fire burned an area of vegetation near the Jungle Cruise. Disneyland officials said no visitors or employees were injured by the fire and no buildings were damaged. Adventureland was temporarily closed after the fire but was available to guests the next morning at park opening.

Thank goodness no one was hurt and no severe damage was done!

Mickey Mouse Leads ‘Magic Happens’ Parade at Disneyland

The all-new ‘Magic Happens‘ parade will debut at Disneyland park in just a few weeks on Feb. 28! This spectacular parade will delight guests with stunning floats, beloved Disney characters, artistic costumes, and an energetic musical score. This incredible daytime spectacular celebrates the awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories.

Today, we have details surrounding the parade’s whimsical opening sequence! Mickey Mouse in an all-new sorcerer-inspired costume leads the way, gliding along on glistening swirls of magic that emerge from a giant, 15-foot tall iridescent magical hat. Check out this show-stopping introduction below!

Gugu Mbatha-Raw Joins Cast of Marvel’s ‘Loki’ Coming to Disney+. The Beauty and the Beast and A Wrinkle in Time Actress, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, has joined the cast of Marvel’s Loki, coming soon to Disney+!

Gugu will be joining fellow cast mates, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) for the Disney+ series. It is currently unknown what role the actress will play for the series, but we are excited to see her branch into the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Marvel and Disney have been keeping the series plot fairly hush-hush, but the official synopsis shares: “In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ next year — 2021.”

Rick Moranis Is Officially Returning For The “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” Reboot

Rick Moranis Is Officially Returning For The “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” Reboot. It’s Official! Rick Moranis is coming out of retirement from acting to reprise his role as Wayne Szalinski, who accidentally shrunk his children and two of his neighbors children in the famous original film, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, released in 1989. The new film is simply called “Shrunk” and will take place decades after the events of the original film.

Josh Gad (Frozen) is the only known other casting choice at the moment and will play the grown up version of Wayne’s son, Nick Szalinski, for the new film. Shrunk is set to have a theatrical release (to be announced at a later time), and will not premiere on Disney+ as previously believed. Shrunk will begin filming some in Spring 2020.

‘Star Wars: Rogue One‘ Prequel For Disney+ Set To Begin Filming This Year. Star Wars: Rogue One star, Diego Luna (Cassian Andor) is getting set to stay in his own Star Wars Series on Disney+ following the adventures of Cassian Andor and K-2SO before the events of Rogue One. The series was supposed to being filming last year but was postponed due to conflicting film schedules and breaks put in place by Lucasfilm to prevent “Star Wars Fatigue” for fans.

“Yes, we are doing it. We are doing it this year. It’s happening, and I’m getting ready for it,” Luna told ET in a recent interview. “I can’t wait. It is really cool to tell a story where you already know the ending.”

“It is a different approach because of the beauty and it’s how things happen. It’s not just what happens. It’s not the typical way of approaching a story. It’s about how things happen, which in fact, is the same that happened in Rogue One,” Luna continued. “You know the ending, but you don’t know how it happened, and we have that challenge in front of us again, which is exciting.”

The new series will stream exclusively on Disney+ and will likely premiere in early 2021. Diego Luna will reprise his role as Cassian Andor, as well as Alan Tudyk, as Cassian’s snarky and sarcastic partner in crime, K-2SO. Cast Members Find Love While Working at Disneyland

As the largest employer in Orange County, with over 32,000 cast members, every year Disneyland is inundated with stories of cast members meeting their significant other while working at the resort. This is just another example of why Disneyland is truly the Happiest Place on Earth!

This Valentine’s Day, Disneyland Resort is celebrating cast member couples, including Samantha and Adam— two Jungle Cruise skippers who found their happily ever after while working together in the parks.

It all started in 2013 when Samantha was hired at the Disneyland Resort. One day she was running late to work and wasn’t feeling well. Adam heroically stepped in and offered her water and Advil. After their first interaction, their relationship set sail with date nights at
the Steakhouse 55 lounge in the Disneyland Hotel and riding the Mark Twain Riverboat around the Rivers of America.

In 2017, the relationship entered an exciting adventure as they began the Disney Leadership Essentials program while planning their wedding at the same time. They graduated from the yearlong leadership development program and were married by a fellow former skipper,
surrounded by their cast member friends. Today, they are both Attractions stage managers in Disney California Adventure park.

When asked which classic Disney couple they felt like they related to the most, Samantha said that their relationship is so special, they are the only Disney couple they could compare themselves to.

“The Disneyland Resort saved me in so many ways,” shared Adam. “It gave me a career that I love, friends that will last a lifetime and it gave me Sam. I am eternally grateful. That’s part of what makes me so dedicated to this job.”

Disneyland Resort is a great place for guests and cast members to celebrate Valentine’s Day. New Water Park And Sports Ticket Option At Walt Disney World

Add a splash of magic to your vacation!

Walt Disney World just introduced a new add on to your theme park tickets so you can enjoy some time in the sun or playing at the NBA Experience over at Disney Springs.

The new Water Park and Sports option includes:

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
NBA Experience
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course ( greens fees only)
FootGolf at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course ( prior to 4pm)
Disney’s Winter Wonderland Miniature Golf Course ( prior to 4pm)

It’s $70 per ticket and allows you to choose one option per day for the length of your ticket.

These extra perks used to be part of the Park Hopper Plus option only but now you can add it to your regular theme park tickets as well!

You can add this option to your ticket at any Disney theme park or water park ticket window, Guest Relations, NBA Experience, MyDisneyExperience app or on the Walt Disney World website.
