Marvel Studios Confirms ‘Deadpool 3’ is the Only Film “In the Works” with R-Rating

Marvel Studios Confirms Deadpool 3‘ is the Only Film “In the Works” with R-Rating. After the Disney-Fox merger, Marvel fans, specifically Deadpool fans, were concerned that the “Merc with a Mouth” would lose his R-rated films. In a shocking move, Disney and Marvel Studios announced that Deadpool 3 would get to keep the adult rating, and we presume there is a good chance a fourth wall breaking Wade Wilson will share a jab or two about the merger (and we can’t wait to hear it!)

Though the only news regarding the third film is its R-rating and the return of Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, we were curious if Marvel Studios would consider exploring more adult content in other Marvel projects. For now, that answer seems to be a resounding “No.”

THR’s Aaron Couch shared a tidbit from a recent interview with Marvel Studios President and CCO Kevin Feige speaking on the matter, tweeting: “Feige says other than [Deadpool 3], there are still no plans to explore R-ratings for the MCU. Naturally, if there is a story where that would make sense, sure they would discuss it. (i.e. don’t hold your breath for an R-rated Marvel project outside of Deadpool)

Are you happy to hear Marvel will not be heavily censoring content in Deadpool 3? Do you wish Marvel would consider more adult content in the future or do you appreciate they make the films audience friendly? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Marvel Studios and Sony Announce Movie Theater Only Release for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

Spider-Man No Way Home title on a white board with marker

Marvel Studios and Sony Announce Movie Theater Only Release for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Marvel Fans have been waiting to hear the new title of the next Spider-Man film and after a bit of teasing from the cast this week, Marvel Studios has shared the official title for the new film: Spider-Man: No Way Home. The studio also confirmed the film will premiere exclusively in theaters in time for Christmas on December 17, 2021.

Though Marvel Studios has several series premiering on the popular streaming service Disney+, it seems Marvel and Sony have agreed to keep Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters exclusively for the premiere.

This is not a shock to Marvel fans, given Sony has been very forward about their plans to only premiere their films in theaters as well as Marvel Studios barring films such as Black Widow and Eternals from theaters for over a year to see a theatrical only release for the highly anticipated titles once movies theaters open at larger capacities, and it seems the next Spider-Man film is no exception.

Marvel Studios and Sony Announce Movie Theater Only Release for 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'

Currently, neither Spider-Man: Homecoming or Spider-Man: Far From Home are available on Disney+, so the likelihood that the studios would have given the film the green light for a streamable premiere was practically non-existent.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently set to swing into theaters on December 17, 2021. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!

The tumbler itself is a see-through navy blue. The lid is solid navy blue. The picture spans most of the way around the cup, showing Mickey and Minnie on a delightful little boat named “Minerva” (surely in honor of Minnie) with its sail up. They appear to be floating in the lake in front of the Yacht club, as its shadowy silhouette is visible in the background. It’s a clear day for their sailing! Some seagulls fly above, but there are few clouds. A lighthouse is also visible on one side. Mickey and Minnie are both dressed in sea-worthy apparel, Mickey even dons a captain’s cap and is casually sipping iced tea.

Why not have “The Happiest Place on Earth” be your family’s very own home? This spacious 4 bedroom home sits on a corner lot with an ample size yard in a family-friendly neighborhood. It’s 3 blocks from Disneyland, this original 1960s home is one of a kind.

Hasbro’s Mr. Potato Head goes gender neutral

Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head goes gender neutral

Mr. Potato Head is no longer a mister according to Hasbro.

Hasbro, the company that makes the potato-shaped plastic toy, is giving the spud a gender neutral new name: Potato Head. The change will appear on boxes this year.

Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head goes gender neutral

Toy makers have been updating their classic brands to appeal to kids today. Barbie has shed its blonde image and now comes in multiple skin tones and body shapes. Thomas the Tank Engine added more girl characters. And American Girl is now selling a boy doll.

Hasbro said Mr. Potato Head, which has been around for about 70 years, needed a modern makeover.

So Hasbro has dropped the Mr. Potato Head and just gone with Potato Head instead.
