Work continues on the upcoming Epcot nighttime show! Epcot’s new nighttime spectacular, ‘Harmonious,’ is coming soon!
Once completed, these platforms will create a sparkling fountain, providing new energy to World Showcase during the daytime, and after dark, they’ll become part of one of the largest nighttime shows ever created for a Disney Park! Work continues, and Disney will be sharing details of the creative vision, music, imagery and global inspiration for this one-of-a-kind spectacular as they make additional progress.
You can take a look at our photos to see the current state of World Showcase Lagoon. It’ll be a wonderful view for guests in each pavilion once the barges are operational.
New Photos Feature Ewan McGregor on Set of the ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Series. Star Wars fans are eager to hear any news regarding the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and now we have our first peek at Ewan McGregor on set of the new show!

McGregor recently spoke with Variety about his new series and shared, “I’ve got to be so careful. There’s no secret to when this series is being set, but I had to walk past two stormtroopers. I realized I’ve never acted with a stormtrooper because mine were clones, you know? It was the Clone Army. So, I’d never seen a stormtrooper. So, I was walking past them in this scene. I turned around—and I was six years old again.”
Reportedly, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series is set 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Currently, the show will star Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan, with Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader for the limited series. Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere exclusively on Disney+ at a to-be-determined date and has begun filming in Little Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

According to a report from The Orlando Sentinel, there has been a spike in tourists being caught carrying concealed firearms into Disney World in both 2020 & 2021 with most of the arrests occur at Disney Springs.
Here is the official word from Disney on Firearms on Disney World:
Guests are not permitted to have firearms, ammunition, knives or weapons of any kind at or in Disney Resort Hotels and Disney Vacation Club Resorts, including in hotel rooms, units, vacation home villas and general public areas within the hotels and resorts.
This includes Disney Springs…
According to the report, 20 people were arrested due to carrying firearms at Walt Disney World in 2020. So far in 2021, 14 people have already been arrested.

Teyonah Parris Will Return as Monica Rambeau for the ‘Captain Marvel’ Sequel. Filming for various Phase 4 MCU projects is well underway, and Marvel Fans are eager to hear new details and see the new shows and movies. Recently, WandaVision star Teyonah Parris spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about her audition with Marvel and her excitement for the upcoming film, The Marvels.
In regards to her role, Teyonah shared she knew she was auditioning for a character that would be featured in the MCU, but had no idea she would be playing Monica Rambeau. “From the jump, they were very clear that the projects they’re bringing to Disney+ would be seamlessly integrated into the feature world,” Parris elaborated. “Now, they did not say that my character would necessarily be going along with it. But I knew it wasn’t a stand-alone project.“
Teyonah continued, “I knew it was Marvel, but that’s about it. I didn’t know the context, just the sides for what I now know was the scene between Monica, as Geraldine, and Wanda [Elizabeth Olsen], when Wanda’s water breaks and that stork was walking around, and the scene where Monica wakes up from the blip. Imagine being given those two scenes and told it’s the same character! I had no clue. So, I had to play broad sitcom and drama.“
A synopsis for The Marvels reads: “Marvel Studios’ The Marvels will feature Brie Larson returning to the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. In the film, she’ll be joined by Teyonah Parris, who was first introduced as adult Monica Rambeau in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, along with Iman Vellani, who will appear as Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ series of the same name. Prepare to experience it and fly higher, further, and faster with the film, directed by Nia DaCosta!”
The Marvels is currently filming at Pinewood Studios in London. The movie is also set to film in both Los Angeles, CA, and New Jersey. The film will star Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel), Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau), Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel), and Zawe Ashton (unspecified). Bronx Street Co-Named in Honor of Marvel Comics’ Stan Lee. Disney Legend Stan Lee based most of his comics on characters that called New York City their home. Most famously your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, who is arguably Lee’s most iconic character from his decades of work in comics.
In honor of his legacy and the love he held for New York City, a motion was put forward to name a street, located in The Bronx, after the comic book legend. Much to Marvel Fans’ delight, the proposal passed and the street was ceremoniously co-named this week.
The specific location is not far from home for Stan Lee. Lee lived at 1720 University Place for many years. He also went to school in the Bronx at DeWitt Clinton High School. Stan Lee passed away on November 12, 2018 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering from cardiac arrest caused by respiratory and congestive heart failure.
University Avenue between Brandt Place and West 176th Street has been co-named “Stan Lee Way” under the bill passed by lawmakers codifying the moniker. Marvel fans are also petitioning for a statue of Stan Lee to be erected in New York City to honor the late comic book legend. The petition on Change.org currently has 134,000+ signatures and is looking to garnish 150,000 to convince the City to approve this motion.

Actor Ned Beatty has just passed away at the age of 83. Best known for his role as Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear in Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3.
He also portrayed the Duke of Bridgewater in Back to Hannibal: The Return of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, Wally Higgins in Road to Avonlea, and Warden Wyatt in He Got Game.
He is most known for playing Bobby Trippe in the movie Deliverance with Burt Reynolds. Beatty received only one Oscar nomination, as a supporting actor for his role as corporate executive Arthur Jensen in 1976′s “Network.”
Beatty died Sunday of natural causes at his Los Angeles home according to his daughter Blossom Beatty.
We previously announced back in the summer of 2017, TRON Lightcycle Run, has gone through shutdowns following the pandemic, construction delays. It should be noted that it looks like a good amount of work is happening on the Tron front. Last week, the exit doors were installed as well as the canopy lights have been installed.
Importantly, the canopy’s blue netting is almost finished being installed. Furthermore, this means that the skyline at the Magic Kingdom will forever change. I can tell you from seeing the ride in Shanghai Disneyland, this canopy will be very prevalent. Along with the blazing blue lights that will be seen quite clearly.

Star Wars Series Production and Release Updates are hard to come by without the official word from Disney. Recently though news has come out about some release dates. Also, production starts and finishes. Sources have some updates on The Mandalorian Season 3, The Book of Boba Fett, and Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Fans of The Mandalorian will have to wait a while for any new episodes by at least another year. Nevertheless, spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett has wrapped filming and is due out on Disney + this December. Word is the spinoff series is closely linked to The Mandalorian and is being considered as The Mando 2.5. Subsequently, it is also being filmed on the same stage as Mandolorian.
Unlike the good news about The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian is not even filming yet. We have heard that the Star Wars Series production and filming will start in early 2022. Alternatively, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series starring Ewan McGregor is filming in Los Angeles. The show is set 10 years after the events of The Revenge of the Sith, and production on this series will reportedly take many months.
Our opinion on the delay in The Mandalorian comes down to Pedro Pascal’s current project The Last of Us, the hit video game that is being adapted into a TV series. I know the new series is slated to start production and filming in July this year.
So in summery, The Mando is not coming soon and has not started filming. The Book of Boba Fett is coming soon and just finished filming. Obi-Wan Kenobi no one knows when it will release, but it is filming and that is expected to take some time.
