Ewan McGregor Getting in Shape for Star Wars ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Disney+ Series. Ewan McGregor is prepping for his return as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ original series named after the famed Jedi Master. The actor is on a strict diet and work out regime for the role to be able to meet the physical abilities required for the role, and it seems Ewan is crushing it!

McGregor’s progress was shared by his personal trainer, Tony Horton, who showed a photo of Ewan posing with his arms raised along with the caption:
“It seems that this Scottish fellow is starting to lean up and slim down. He hasn’t missed a day, and his diet has been spot on. This was day 16.“
