‘The Marvels’ Synopsis Confirms Casting Rumors for the ‘Captain Marvel‘ Sequel. Marvel fans are eager to hear more details about upcoming projects, and now we have the first synopsis for the Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels. The synopsis reads:
“Marvel Studios’ The Marvels will feature Brie Larson returning to the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. In the film, she’ll be joined by Teyonah Parris, who was first introduced as adult Monica Rambeau in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, along with Iman Vellani, who will appear as Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ series of the same name. Prepare to experience it and fly higher, further, and faster with the film, directed by Nia DaCosta!”
The Marvels will begin filming on May 31st at Pinewood Studios in London. The movie is also set to film in both Los Angeles, CA, and New Jersey. The film will star Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel), Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau), Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel), and Zawe Ashton (unspecified).
