Disney has just opened up more Theme Park Capacity for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration on October 1st. When checking Park Pass Reservations this morning there was availability for all categories and all theme parks.

Over the past few weeks Disney has been increasing capacity and opening up more Theme Park Reservations, so if you haven’t been able to get a Park Pass Reservation for Disney World’s 50th in the past now is your chance to grab one.

Here is more information on Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration:

This 18-month celebratory event will feature new experiences at the resort’s four theme parks and beyond, where shimmering EARidescent décor will appear as if by magic. Shining at the center of it all will be Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, which will add to its royal makeover from 2020 with new gold bunting, sparkling golden embellishments and other new enhancements, including a 50th-anniversary crest warmly welcoming guests to join the festivities.

New Nighttime Spectacular ‘Disney Enchantment’ to Light Up Magic Kingdom Park

A new nighttime spectacular, “Disney Enchantment,” will help kick off the 50th-anniversary festivities when it debuts Oct. 1 at Magic Kingdom Park. Created to launch with “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” this evening extravaganza will take guests on a journey filled with adventure, wonder, and empowerment. Inspiring everyone to believe in magic, “Disney Enchantment” will feature music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks, and, for the first time, immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A.

‘Harmonious’ Reimagines Disney Music at EPCOT

Joining “Disney Enchantment” on Oct. 1 will be “Harmonious” at EPCOT, one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park. This new show will bring the globe together at World Showcase Lagoon in a celebration of Disney music that inspires people worldwide. It’s a grand, powerful tribute to the unifying power of story and song, embracing new technical magic that incorporates pyrotechnics, fountains, lighting and media in new ways. “Harmonious” will feature new interpretations of classic Disney songs, reimagined in more than a dozen languages by a diverse group of 240 artists from around the world.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Grand Opening Set for Oct. 1 at EPCOT

The grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be Oct. 1, inviting guests into the flavorful world of Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award®-winning “Ratatouille.” In this family-friendly attraction, guests will feel as if they shrink to the size of Chef Remy and scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant. They will discover Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in a newly expanded area of the park’s France pavilion, where the real is made fantastic in a reimagining of Paris inspired by the film.

Also debuting Oct. 1 in this section of the pavilion will be a delicious new restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris, offering both table- and quick-service options. The menu will feature sweet crepes, savory buckwheat galettes (naturally gluten friendly) and authentic French hard cider. The attraction, restaurant and pavilion expansion are all part of the historic transformation of EPCOT currently underway, bringing a breadth of new experiences to the park as a celebration of curiosity, discovery and the magic of possibility.

Beacons of Magic Shine at Walt Disney World Theme Parks

As part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” icons at each Walt Disney World theme park will transform into magnificent Beacons of Magic at night, coming to life with their own EARidescent glow*.

Cinderella Castle will illuminate Magic Kingdom with a dazzling radiance that sparkles with pixie dust.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, a warm light will emanate from the Tree of Life as magical fireflies gather to usher in the magic of nature.
The Hollywood Tower Hotel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be awash in a brilliance evoking the golden age of imagination and adventure.
And at EPCOT, new lights will shine across the reflective panels of Spaceship Earth, connecting to one another in a symbol of optimism resembling stars in a nighttime sky. The iconic structure’s permanent new lighting will continue beyond “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” as a defining feature of the park.

‘Disney KiteTails’ to Take Flight at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

New daytime entertainment is stirring at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, as “Disney KiteTails” will come alive several times daily beginning Oct. 1 inside the Discovery River Amphitheater. Performers will fly windcatchers and kites of all shapes and sizes, while out on the water elaborate three-dimensional kites – some stretching to 30 feet long – will depict Disney animal friends, including Simba, Zazu, Baloo and King Louie. These colorful creations will dance through the sky to the beat of favorite Disney songs in an uplifting, vibrant experience for the whole family.

Golden ‘Disney Fab 50’ Sculptures to Appear Across the Theme Parks

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale will be part of a new collection of special golden character sculptures debuting Oct. 1 across the four Walt Disney World theme parks. There will be 50 characters featured overall, and guests will be able to interact with the “Disney Fab 50” in surprising ways as part of the 50th-anniversary celebration.

Mickey, Minnie and Friends Will Be Dressed for the Occasion

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale will also be dressed in sparkling new looks, custom-made for this special occasion. Highlights of these celebratory designs include beautifully embroidered impressions of Cinderella Castle backed by fireworks, as well as a brocade in multi-toned, EARidescent fabric – all punctuated with pops of gold.

Mickey and Minnie will be the hosts of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” joined by Walt Disney World cast members at the heart of this event. Wearing new EARidescent nametags designed for the 50^th anniversary, cast will demonstrate yet again why they are renowned for their commitment to service, consistently exceeding guests’ expectations by going above and beyond to make visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth special.

Disney Park Passes starting to fill up for Thanksgiving & Christmas

Disney World park passes are already starting to fill up for the fall and winter holidays! Guests are getting back to planning their Disney vacations way in advance. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day are already full for some parks!

Thanksgiving week is starting to fill up. Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are both popular theme parks for that week. Magic Kingdom park passes are completely full on Thanksgiving Day for both select resort hotel guests and theme park ticket guests. All of November is open for Annual Passholders.

Disney fans know where they want to spend Christmas Day! Magic Kingdom park passes are full on Christmas Day for both theme park tickets and select resort hotel guests. All of December is still open to Annual Passholders.

If you are hoping to visit Walt Disney World around the holidays this year, you’ll want to book your trip ASAP! The park passes are starting to fill up and you don’t want to miss out on the festivities happening this year.

Disneyland Resort Theme Park Hours released through September 7th

The Disneyland Resort continues to reopen in phases and more offerings are becoming available to guests. Now, more park hours have been released for the Disneyland Resort theme parks. We now know what the park hours are through September 7th. Hours were previously only available through August 14.

Disneyland will be open from 8 am to 11 pm daily from August 15 to September 7.

Disney California Adventure will be open from 8 am to 10 pm daily. Oogie Boogie Bash will start on September 9th. For dates that event takes place, the park will close to regular guests at 6 pm.

Park hopping at the Disneyland Resort starts at 1 pm every day and ends at park closing. Will you be visiting the Disneyland Resort this summer?

Pizzafari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park will be reopening soon! Guests can enjoy fun animal murals and mosaics along with delicious pizza starting August 2, 2021.

Pizza rules in this jungle but you can also order a Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, Green and Grains Salad, and an adorable “Spaghetti and Meatball” Cupcake. Kick back with a refreshing Blue Lagoon with blue curaçao beverage syrup, lemonade, and gummy worms – also available with a glow cube and with or without rum!

There are positions to be filled at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort, and newly opening Swan Reserve. Titles include, but are not limited to Security Officer, Systems Analyst, Painter, Front Office Manager, Commissary Cook, Housing Coordinator, and Housekeeping Manager. Disney's Swan & Dolphin Resort Is Hosting a Job Fair This Friday

Walt Disney World’s newest resort, the Swan Reserve, is nearing completion. Construction has been speedy, even with the uncertainty of the pandemic’s effects on timing. The hotel is 14 stories with 349 guest rooms. Two presidential suites, 149 spacious suites, a signature restaurant, bar, lobby lounge, grab-and-go market, health club, pool, and 22 thousand square-foot event space will make up the premises. It remains on course to open later this summer 2021 on September 1st.

CDC is now recommending face masks to be worn indoors once again

With COVID-19 cases surging again and the new Delta variant becoming more prevalent in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is once again recommending masks be worn indoors. Federal officials are now saying even vaccinated individuals should wear masks indoors in areas with high COVID-19 transmission rates.

The CDC is also recommending that all students in K-12 schools wear masks, regardless of vaccination status. That includes all teachers and staff.

The CDC guidance for unvaccinated individuals remains the same: continue to wear a mask until fully vaccinated.

Recently, the Orange County Florida Mayor urged businesses to require face masks while indoors again. Due to Florida’s current legislation, it’s up to businesses to decide whether or not to implement mask mandates. As of now, Disney only requires non-vaccinated individuals to wear face masks while indoors. We’ll see if that changes. Stay tuned!

Columbia Harbour House reopens on August 5th in the Magic Kingdom

Guests can once again reel in some delicious seafood at Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom Park! Starting August 5th, our favorites will be back on the menu.

Our seafood favorites are back, including the Lobster Roll and Trio Platter with a combination of fried fish, fried shrimp, and chicken strips served with hushpuppies and french fries or green beans. Craving something other than seafood? Try the Lighthouse Sandwich (hummus with tomato and broccoli slaw on multigrain bread) now comes with french fries or the Harbour Salad – a mix of greens, shredded cheddar, apples, onion, apple cider vinaigrette, and topped with chicken strips.

“Harmonious” illuminates our shared humanity, bringing to life the vision of EPCOT through a celebration of our world and its promise. Over the years, cultures from around the world have provided inspiration for Disney films and music. In “Harmonious,” a global community of musical artists has come together and reinterpreted those familiar stories and songs in their own voice, honoring their respective cultures. Collectively, they contribute to a unique experience that could only happen at EPCOT, a place where the impossible becomes possible through the power of human imagination and the magic of Disney.

The show moves through three distinct chapters, inviting us to gather on the shores of World Showcase Lagoon, celebrate the countries and cultures of the world, and ultimately unite to create a bright tomorrow. “Harmonious” begins with a sunrise, and as the world awakens around us, we set out on a journey that takes us across the globe. More Disney World Restaurants reopening in August

More Restaurants will be reopening in August at Walt Disney World. Many never opened when the Theme Parks officially reopened last year.

Let’s dive right in and see if any of your favorite Disney World Restaurants are set to reopen in the coming weeks.

Yachtsman Steakhouse will soon be stoking the flames of their oak-fired grills so we can again savor their premium, grain-fed steaks or the dry-aged Duroc pork chop served with heritage grits, broccoli rabe, and apple-cognac gastrique.

In addition to the great steaks and chops, the Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two (Maine lobster, snow crab, tuna tartare, jumbo shrimp, mussels, scallop ceviche, and charred octopus salad) is back as well as the signature creamy Lobster Bisque and the delicious Yachtsman’s Chocolate Cake for Two with dark chocolate mousse, chocolate decadence cake, mixed berry curd, peanut butter crunch, and mousse. I seriously cannot wait!

Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort opens August 5, 2021, with booking available July 29, 2021.

Soon guests will be able to sample the delicious small plates and dishes inspired by the flavors of Spain at Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood. I can’t wait to get my tapas on with my favs small plates – Charred Octopus, Pan con Tomate, and the delish Flight of Four Pinxtos. The signature Chuletón Bone-in Rib Eye with tomatoes, onions, and choice of two sides – is on the menu along with Char-grilled Steak with olive oil-potato purée, forest mushrooms, date jam, and sherry vinaigrette and the Rioja-braised Chicken with grapes, sherry vinegar, and roasted tomato bomba rice. The dark chocolate “Café con Leche” Choux is the perfect sweet ending.

You Can Make The Delicious Remy’s Soup From Ratatouille At Home!

If you are what you eat, then i only want to eat the good stuff like Remy’s Soup from Ratatouille!

We all remember that scene when Remy sneaks into the kitchen and fixes Linguini’s soup, the way he added the ingredients and how much he enjoys it when he tastes the food for the first time makes us want to try that delicious dish as well right?

Well, we have great news because we have the recipe so you can recreate this iconic soup at home! After all, anyone can cook!

REMY’S SOUP

INGREDIENTS:

6 tbsp of unsalted butter
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 leeks, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 (28 oz) can of diced tomatoes, pureed in blender
1 tbsp of sugar
Cracked black pepper
1 cup of white wine (or substitute 1 cup water)
5 cups of chicken broth
1/3 cup of parmesan cheese, cubed
1 tbsp of fresh thyme, finely chopped
1 tbsp of fresh basil, finely chopped
4 bay leaves
1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
Sea salt, to taste
2 cups of heavy cream
1/2 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
Green onion, for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Melt the butter in a large pot. Add the onion and cook until tender and almost translucent (about 3 minutes). Add in the the leeks and garlic and cook until the onions are completely translucent (about 2 more minutes).
Pour in the pureed tomatoes and stir. Add the sugar and black pepper and stir again, now add in the white wine. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat, letting simmer for 10 minutes until the wine has reduced. The liquid will become thick and the steam won’t have the smell of alcohol any longer.
Pour in the chicken broth. Now add the cubes of parmesan, thyme, basil, bay leaves, cayenne pepper and sea salt. Reduce heat to low, cover and let summer 20 minutes.
Remove lid. Add in the heavy cream and parsley. Recover and let simmer an additional 10 minutes on low.
Serve Remy’s Soup with crusty French bread or a baguette.

New Mickey & Minnie Coach Collection spotted at Disney Springs. DIsney X Coach Special Edition Collection has arrived in the Coach store in Disney Springs. With Mickey and Minnie highlighted on the new line. We got a chance to check out the newest collection and walked away impressed with these understated bags.

Without a doubt this new collection is eye-popping. 2 different colors to choose from, additionally the bags feature 2 distinct poses from Mickey & Minnie. The Mustard Yellow ones have Mickey Mouse sitting down with his hands behind him like he is just relaxing. The pink-hued bags feature Mickey and Minnie Mouse frolicking away. This color and pose would look delightful matched with any spring or summer outfit, where the mustard yellow one would look amazing this fall during your Disney Vacation

This makes a major turning point for a Coach collection. Clearly, in the past, they would do different poses for the characters and even though they had the same color, non matched perfectly. Importantly, with Mickey in the same pose on each bag, it feels like a complete collection.
